i have a question, it would be nice if you answered it: Is it smart to take a break after a game like that? +44 elo, 2 overtimes. because you get really tired because of tryharding.
just find some people to play with, and play a lot and try not to tilt after losing. you will improve and start winning a lot. personally i found a guy in a faceit game, he added me after and now we have gone up like 500 elo together. a 5 stack would probably be the best for gaining elo but we are doing just fine with a 3 stack consisting of me, my irl friend and the guy i found from a faceit pug. gl!!
mxrder Don’t play too much also unless you have premium and are on the 200 wins mission. Playing too much exhausts you and if you lose a couple games (especially choking like this one), it will easily tilt you. Having positive premades help a lot. I’m playing as a duo rn and we are achieving good results despite going against the usual 5-stacks and boosted level 10s. Went +750 elo in 3 weeks (slowed down halfway). If you can’t find good teammates in pugs, try r/recruitcs and join every post you see (in your area and skill level). Once you find a good teammate play with him.
