- In this video we compare the halogen vs led bulbs on this Dodge Dakota LED interior lighting upgrade. We replace the standard incandescent light bulbs in the foot wells on the dodge dakota pickup truck and put in place some nice crisp white LED bulbs to brighten up the interior and give a more modern look.

It certainly does make quite a difference 👍 what about the keyless entry fobs that buddy sent you .. the blue ones how come you never got them hooked up an using ?
Can't program the remote without a special dealer tool since I don't have 1 spare remote. I just have to make it over to get it programmed soon 💪

I have 2000 Dakota and can't seem to find any sockets I thought that would have been standard
I did too but some people informed me its not on all models. Pretty weird that it was an option for these trucks!

I don't think so because my dakota 00 doesn't seem to have the bulbs
Shit I didn’t even know my truck had those, well it might not, it’s a 2002 Dakota sport, w the 4.7. Don’t know if that makes a difference but as soon as I wake up I’m going to check then buying some leds later
I have a 2004 quad cab SLT "plus" and I don't have the under dash lights. It might be just in the single cabs for the pre2000 or RT models? you'd think it would be in the higher trims because the overhead lights throw so many shadows, especially after you LED swap them
The link you provided is for a pack of 10 bulbs. Do these specific bulbs fit anywhere else on the dakota platform that you know of?
Oh for sure! Same bulbs are used in the 3rd brake light, front marker lights, and the rear license plate bulbs 💪

That great but if your lights in side the cab is on a timer you can't use led lights because it will drain the battery
you have to have an in-line resistor to one of them in the circuit. I had the same problem with the overhead cab lights staying really dimly lite... did some looking on YT and a video said to clip it in with one light in the circuit for the cab. Being it runs off the door button, no problems after 2.5 years
Leds so bright the police can see the doobie on the floor easier 😂😉
am i missing something, wheres your 5.9 dakota r/t emblems,i know kids remove emblems etc..there idiots anyway,mine are on an original allways..though not many knows what they are unless there 40 or more maybe....
