Having seen the film, I noticed they cut out the conversation between Larry and Cynthia and I think that was a mistake on their part because the conversation shows a contrast between what Larry is saying vs. what he's feeling through song. This seems to be an example of making the Murphys less important characters and I say that as someone who isn't extremely familiar with the show. Also, if one actor could reprise their role for the movie I feel Michael Park as Larry could have returned instead of a nearly 30-year old Ben Platt.
no hate but i personally think she saw bc its really hard to see faces from the stage so shes prolly looking at the general middle area. thats just my take
@@loreleihepler3660 She definitely saw cause camera lenses reflect so she probably knows that someone is recording but I doubt she knows which specific spot. I’m not sure if she’s angry about the bootleg but maybe. 🤷🏾
Wonderful vocals and acting. What is frustrating is that the orchestra still overpowers them when it should be "accompanying" them not the other way around.
Her choice to smooth out the e-mail she crumpled at the very end was so subtle, yet powerful. Really liked her take on this!
Her Zoe seems more angry. It’s an interesting take as the Zoes have more like a mix of anger and sadness
she's fucking furious and i love it bc it's so realistic
@@iolandadbn I would be too
Which cast is this ? They are absolutely amazing!! Who was Evan in this
As someone who has lost a sibling who i was never close to, i can fully relate to all these emotions
Olivia (Zoe) is so talented her voice, her sadness, her anger. I feel her emotions.
I'm not the only one who imagines her voice when she holds the long notes like really smoothly spreading room temperature butter?
I legit cry whenever I watch a performance of this song. It's so powerful and has so many layers to it
her version of zoe doesn't seem to be able show her emotions as she want's so it just manifest as anger which i like.
Love Olivia in this role!
Wow I really liked her take on Zoe. It's not that It's better, but is different and just as good as the original one, so It's refreshing.

she stared at the camera the whole song 😅 I can feel her anger towards the bootleg
It makes me so uncomfortable 😂

You don’t get it. STFU
Love MP
why wasnt she casted for the film :(
I thought Kaitlyn Dever killed it. She was a good version of Zoe. Had a very powerful performance
They definitely would’ve made Zoe and Connor biracial if that was the case.
I don't care if your brother died, get ya feet off the couch!
