3rd gen Hatch Hinge installation, Hawks Motorsports Hinges
In this video, I’ll be installing the rear hatch glass hinges for a third GEN Camaro. Replacing these hinges will align your rear hatch to the spoiler and is a really nice set made of billet aluminum from hawks motorsports.

Electric fan (efan) conversions are very popular with vehicles that still have the original clutch fan. The clutch fan robs power, reduces gas mileage, and can be very loud. This project is a full walkthrough installing on my 2001 Blazer ZR2.

Is a six speed worth it over a five speed in a 3rd gen camaro with a 350? I mean, better MPG, (have to change gearing?) horsepower/torque delivery? I am a noob, so appreciate the insight in advance. I mean, I would guess a six speed manual (or higher) is always better, no? Also, did you do a video on changing from AT to MT? Or was this a 305 / 5-speed originally?

Does anyone bring the engine up on TDC TO MAKE SURE the balancer is zeroed? What’s the point of timing marks on the balancer if the thing is pinned wrong??

Just got myself into a well paying job and finished paying for my previous two hobbies. Time to shop for a Camaro. Thanks for all this information, it's gonna come in useful this year. The goal is to find one that's not TOO nice so I can feel fine about winter and daily driving it in Ontario. But nice enough that I feel good about driving it.
So 235 hp and a better rear ratio, manual would not be faster than a 245 hp auto 350 that kicks into 3rd on a 4 speed ? 😂😂😂😂 for top speed of course lol
Its best to get a high amp alternator thats at least 150 amp when going with an electrical fan . the stock alternator does not have enough amperage to properly supply enough current when the ac is on and the lights are on and your stereo is playing .

These ZR2 code Blazers were the sh*t back in the day! Wider frame compared to the regular S10, factory 3” lift with Bilstein shocks, heavier duty locking posi rear with hardened axles and 3.73 gears, carbon skid plates, aluminum driveshaft and 31” BFG all terrains. The ZR2 was friggin awesome lol

Did you have any MAF code when taking IAT out of connector? I keep getting a P0102 after removing IAT from connector and switching to a LS3 style MAF. It had the truck style MAF prior.
Sold my 87 iroc five years ago and just last month I ran across it and got it back in my possession and now after watching your video I’m gonna follow on my dream of dropping a Ls3 in it. Thanks for sharing and I’m definitely gonna be taking notes and checking out your other videos on this. Also I’m digging the red, same color as mine but I do have the t-tops on mine. Why did some of the Zr2 have automatic on the floor, and some were on the column.

Hmm I was thinking about getting KYBs. Do u dislike the KYB or they are fine but time to upgrade to something different?
Depends what you want out the car, daily or street driving they are fine. KYB also has adjustable ones people seem to like. I’m always a Bilstein fan but they stopped making front struts. I’ll go with Koni yellows before KYB

Yeah , stock internals (all new). All I did was cam and valve train

Yeah I ended up doing the Hawks Motorsports dual pump for 4th gens. Ran out of pump when I recently changed pulley. Still need to go back to dyno to see how that goes.
Oh I got larger injectors also … more to come on that

I have a issue with my hood not having a gap between the hood and fenders. I’m guessing the hinge needs to move towards the engine side a little on one side or both. Right side is almost touching and left side has a decent gap. I’m thinking it’s just the hinge that needs to be moved not so much the hood were it bolts to the hinge. Everything on my lines up so far except fender gap. I’m putting some tape down so I hopefully don’t scratch my new paint 😬
