Is a six speed worth it over a five speed in a 3rd gen camaro with a 350? I mean, better MPG, (have to change gearing?) horsepower/torque delivery? I am a noob, so appreciate the insight in advance. I mean, I would guess a six speed manual (or higher) is always better, no? Also, did you do a video on changing from AT to MT? Or was this a 305 / 5-speed originally?

Does anyone bring the engine up on TDC TO MAKE SURE the balancer is zeroed? What’s the point of timing marks on the balancer if the thing is pinned wrong??

Its best to get a high amp alternator thats at least 150 amp when going with an electrical fan . the stock alternator does not have enough amperage to properly supply enough current when the ac is on and the lights are on and your stereo is playing .

These ZR2 code Blazers were the sh*t back in the day! Wider frame compared to the regular S10, factory 3” lift with Bilstein shocks, heavier duty locking posi rear with hardened axles and 3.73 gears, carbon skid plates, aluminum driveshaft and 31” BFG all terrains. The ZR2 was friggin awesome lol

Did you have any MAF code when taking IAT out of connector? I keep getting a P0102 after removing IAT from connector and switching to a LS3 style MAF. It had the truck style MAF prior.

Sold my 87 iroc five years ago and just last month I ran across it and got it back in my possession and now after watching your video I’m gonna follow on my dream of dropping a Ls3 in it. I have a issue with my hood not having a gap between the hood and fenders. I’m guessing the hinge needs to move towards the engine side a little on one side or both. Right side is almost touching and left side has a decent gap. I’m thinking it’s just the hinge that needs to be moved not so much the hood were it bolts to the hinge. Everything on my lines up so far except fender gap. I’m putting some tape down so I hopefully don’t scratch my new paint 😬
