Wow love these kind of electronica tracks 🤩 (and love the "Digi lab"! I only have the Digitone 1 and Analog Heat Mk2, a long way to go to a "Digi Lab" 😅)
@@2MinuteWarning I spent hours on this haha. It's definitely a lot more involved than the keystep pro+synth jams I'm used to (which I absolutely love). I went a little nuts on the Elektron stuff. I did return the Octatrack because it was just too expensive and too complicated for what I was planning to use it for. The Digitakt 2 seems to be fitting the bill nicely. I was very skeptical about running the audio through each box and only having one stereo track as a finished product, but the compressors and sound processing in these boxes are truly remarkable. As always, thanks so much for watching, listening and all your support ✌️🖤
@@yourcitysleeps My pleasure 😃 Indeed the disadvantage of connecting the instruments in this order is that it's very hard to fix a mix afterwards if you have an issue which you hadn't notice while recording (although now there are AI software that let you extract/tune only some instruments on a full track 😳)
I noticed that the song is changing, but you’re not touching anything (at least in the beginning part of the video). Are you doing this in song edit mode? This is something I have not ventured into doing yet! I really enjoyed the production. The set up looks extremely inviting and fun. I loved how you were squelching the analog heat towards the end chopping up the vocals like that was pretty sick.
@@embazle thanks so much! Yeah I've been experimenting with the song mode and pattern chaining. I had to clear and start over a few times since the different machines had different patterns and pattern lengths. It all worked out in the end. I sampled the digitone 2 and syntakt into the Digitakt 2 and chopped it up which was soooo much fun. I did the same thing with some vocals I recorded through the Roland E-4 and into the Digitakt. This setup inspired me to give the Octatrack another shot lol. I'd love to see and hear what you come up with! Thanks again for your positivity and support ✌️🖤
@@skinzelectronicjams thank you! I actually didn't use any of the pedals in this video. I routed the Syntakt into the digitone 2, then into the Digitakt 2 and then into the analog heat+FX. Although I didn't turn the analog heat+FX on until the very end of this one. I LOVE these machines! Thanks so much for checking out my videos 🖤✌️
Sounds great 👍

Yeah thats a wild sound. What are you processing the signal through with those pedals?

@yourcitysleeps WOW. That much routing without voice stealing or loss? Bravo Elektron.
