    Very cool! Its not easy getting a diverse rack in a small format, you nailed it!

    Wow, what a clear and inspiring tutorial you made here including the post-processing, thanks you so much. I could watch plenty of them! It motivates me to experiment more with my intellijel performance case which got full of Endorphin es modules in the meantime since I bought godspeed from you back in the days...

    I know that getting into eurorack would be devastating to my bank account but you’re getting incredible sound from not a lot of modules so it tempts me

      I recommend getting 2nd hand stuff mate. and the stuff keeps its value so if you realize "ah damn this is not for me" you sell it! and you don't lose much. but ye need some good chunk of cash to start with. also play with VCV rack, for me, that made it clear I need to get into this stuff

      @ Thanks will see what the future brings. I did have one thought about starting by building a dedicated external effects unit with it as I DJ, and use a mixer that has no built in effects, but since everything I normally see for eurorack assumes everything is mono I will have to see how sends and return sound in mono before I build that in case it won’t work. I can then build from there

    Thanks for the condensed knowledge for a live rack. I am about to build (yet another 😅) rack, especially for live streams. Although I have a lot of modules, your video helps to me to benefit from your experience. In my situation I don't need to restrain to a small case, it is still good to restrain to just a few modules, instead of going overboard with too many 😇

    Cool setup! I recommend decoupling your pitch and rhythm for more interesting patterns (i.e. sending Euclidean Circles into BIA, and sending pulses from the Turing Machine into the SY)
    Edit: got further into the video, the pitch sequence from the Turing Machine going into both the BIA and the SY is a really good example of this, because they're being triggered by two different rhythms you end up with two different sequences from one sequence :::)

    • @nero_di_seppia
      @nero_di_seppia  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah 100% agreed on decoupling!!

    Just sold my rample last week. Great drum source for small cases. Cool thing about it being a sampler is you can process rumble samples in a DAW (either pre-layered, or 100% wet/preducked rumble on its own channel) that'll open up your effects for other duties. Absolute workhorse of a module if you have time and patience to prepare it.

    • @nero_di_seppia
      @nero_di_seppia  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah good point! I always had the issue though that if I prepare them too much, they sound repetitive in a live set. The nice thing about doing more in Eurorack is more diversity. If I had the space I'd do all drums as some Eurorack module with knobs :)

    • @Hellsink-z3e
      @Hellsink-z3e 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It can get repetitive, but there are workarounds to break up the repetition and humanize it with the file naming system on the SD card. 12 samples per channel and they can be as long as you want. Lot's of possibilities

    Six Switches expander for Euclidean Circles gives you the mutes and one of the modes on Euclidean Circles lets you use any or all channels as a normal step sequencer allowing you to put steps where you want

    • @nero_di_seppia
      @nero_di_seppia  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah or the EC mutes from leipzig west -- it allows to sync mutes with a clock leipzigwest.org/?page_id=303

    • @nero_di_seppia
      @nero_di_seppia  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      ye that one looks cool. I used to drive my case with an Arturia but I somehow prefer pure-eurorack solutions (my big case used the 0 CTRL or the DFAM). Maybe I will try the oxi one one day tho

    • @jendrikschmidt
      @jendrikschmidt หลายเดือนก่อน

      @nero_di_seppia it actually has most types of sequencers, scales, polymeter for everything, euclidean, randomization, lfos and much more. And it works with other gear simultaneously. Pretty dope.

    • @jendrikschmidt
      @jendrikschmidt หลายเดือนก่อน

      @nero_di_seppia certainly there is so much fun stuff inside eurorack.

    The QSC mixer looks nice but only 4 stereo inputs. Not sure how people get around with so few inputs. I have the SSF Vortices mixer is which has 14 ins total. Doesn’t have a classic send/receive but it’s still pretty great.

    • @nero_di_seppia
      @nero_di_seppia  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      14!! that's neat. For me, the constraint is I never wanna use more than one 104HP / 7U Intellijel case for live. I don't think I can fit 14 voices into that :) I use a few mixers in that case tho, to bring it all together.

      I am not sure! The eucledian circles and the turing machine seems like they were never copied by them. But you can find another trigger and CV sequencer? And a sample player I guess they have? And I think the Mimeophone is dope AF haha, not sure they have it.
