What happens if you drink your own urine? GOOGLE SAYS:
Urine is mostly water, but it also contains urea and other waste products, salts, ammonia, and more. Because urine contains waste products, drinking it can force your kidneys to work even harder or expose you to unnecessary toxins. This could cause illness, electrolyte disturbances, or kidney damage.

Exactly! Urine has urea in it, which becomes extremely toxic if it stays for too long in the body, hence our body flushes it out. I can't believe this woman is a marine biologist and doesn't even know basic science.

If you want to live in a tent and drink your own piss, that fine. But when you chose to be a parent you have an obligation to provide a suitable living environment for your children. Forcing them to be uneducated and not taking them to the doctor because you "practice urine therapy" is unforgivable.

She shows her kids how to live an alternative, nonconformist lifestyle far away from an unhealthy authoritarian capitalistic system based on exploitation and bonded labour - I absolutely LOVE it! ❤❤ Her kids seem to be very healthy and happy (unlike MANY children in the so-called "civilization") so she can't have gone completely wrong... 😊👍 Those blaming her for her unconventional lifestyle are most likely too cowardly to drop out but would like to do the same thing secretly.... 😮
P.S. Urine is a very old and very effective remedy for several health problems but BIG PHARMA doesn't want people to know because they can't take profits from it... 😮

@@rebekkagasmi9451Drinking your own urine is not healthy. It's exactly the same as eating your own poop. Urine contains harmful toxins and other such things that could prove harmful for the body if reintroduced into the body. There's a reason why it's called a WASTE BYPRODUCT. Also, this is not "alternative" living. This is homelessness with extra steps. This is minimalist living. She doesn't even allow her children medical care unless they're seriously sick.
Mountain Men who literally live in the mountains full time are more civilized than this person.
If you had actual survival, mountaineering and forestry experience you would understand how crazy this woman is. Simply because she says she "has a home in her heart" doesn't make her any less homeless than she is. Simply because you and her reject reality doesn't mean she isn't homeless. Her children need better.

Urine is a potent combination of salts and chemicals that your body is attempting to remove. These chemicals can cause significant health problems if you consume them. Furthermore, urine provides no health benefits that cannot be found by consuming other foods and beverages.

Jokes aside this is not a suitable living arrangement for children or anyone. This is how homeless people live out of desperation when they have no other options. I’m all about spending time in nature and outside. I take my toddler on hikes and her favorite place to be is on the water and I don’t mind her getting dirty; she washes clean, but there are many reasons revolving around security and even basic hygiene and safety that children should live in a proper home.

I'm not medically trained, but as far as I know, the placenta serves as a filtering system providing nutrients and maintaining waste which is filtered before getting to the baby, so I don't think it's the same fluid as the urine our bodies produce as waste from our kidneys. It's definitely inportant to have something in the place of a formal-ish education. What studies did you find that explained why drinking your urine regularly is ok? Or is beneficial? I’m a nurse and my concern of course is that urine of course is filtered waste products. As far as homeschooling! YES! The indoctrination and sexualization happening to children in schools is straight sex abuse and over all, I’d b more concerned, for a long list of reasons, about my children being abducted in a neighborhood or near a school. I know of a female high schooler that was sexually harassed/not penetrated assaulted by a guy in the girls bathroom! He simply says he feels non binary and that some days he’s a female, so of course American schools allow these boys/men in the female bathrooms and locker rooms!

    • @Weiner-Worm
      @Weiner-Worm 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You provide 0 sources.
Fact: teaching children age appropriate sex ed REDUCES their risk of sexual abuse. Since a child can now name specifically where they were touched. (Example: Uncle Jim made me feel funny vs. Uncle Jim touched my vulva.) Proper and appropriate sex ed can and does stop abuse.
And your story of a person getting assaulted shows that any gender can be the aggressor. That doesn't change the fact that the majority of abuse done to women is from STRAIGHT MALES who are boyfriends or close friends/acquaintance of the victims.
And I'm not even going to address the part about drinking urine. If you're even asking if drinking urine has any benefits, that speaks volumes to your IQ level

The 261 comments 12 hours after this episode aired did not disappoint. 😆😆
It appears that most people think she’s a bit off, seems the urine recycling pushed them over the edge.
IMO Her grip on reality is tenuous. The comment she made with regards to being irritated by having to skim leaves off of her pool at her 4 bedroom house indicates that her financial situation has all but collapsed within a year. I have zero problem with her living her hippie dream life if …
it were only her. But to force her 5 and 7 year old to exist in those conditions is unconscionable. It’s not just learning in a school that’s important but also socialization, structure, accountability and so much more that those children are missing out on. I’m not saying that this concept of living is all bad. I mean what is she teaching them? What does she actually know? Are they learning about nature? How to recognize both useful and dangerous flora and their uses of or possibly survival techniques and on and on and on. The children are going to slip through the cracks and will have considerable difficulty functioning in modern society. Parents are responsible for raising future adults. The requirement is to help the child to grow into a viable, contributing member of the human race.
I hope her situation changes soon. I hope she wakes up and realizes that if she continues to subject her children to this that she could very well lose them. If not to authorities (I have no idea how that works in Australia) then to their resentment towards her when they grow up and find it difficult to adapt. imo

I absolutely feel bad for those children. They need a proper environment which is coming from someone with mountaineering and survival training. This is no way to live. She’s a marine Biologist so she has the capacity to educate her children if she chooses. Drinking urine, if she is hydrated isn’t beneficial in any way, but drinking it while dehydrated could actually destroy her kidneys. When you ask 'do you love living in a tent?' Of course they are going to say yes. It's a leading question. A better question is, 'how do you feel about living in a tent?' I'm not saying the answer would be different, just pointing that out.

I can't get on board with the "urine therapy" but it's nice to see people living with nature.

Nothing wrong with living in a tent and connecting with nature. I think that's wonderful and the kids will have a much better life.
But girl, you don't need the urine lol. And keep Jesus close. 🧡

For the love of Pete, please don't drink your own urine or put it anywhere but in the 🚽 Yes there are benefits to using uric acid on the skin, However it is sterilized and separate from the waste component of straight urine..🤦🏿‍♀️
Those babies need socialization and basic education skills,if they're going to have any chance in life.. I'm glad to know that they're basically just playing in the woods because they've got a house and basic facilities at their disposal.. Put them babies in school!

Interesting. My kids are in correspondence school, so schooled at home but with a tailored curriculum. Myself and the kids are usually barefoot; that's mainly for our own comfort, but also gently helps our autistic twins with sensory issues. For example learning to deal with different textures underfoot. Which seems to be easier than in the hands.
Idk. A lot to think about here, for me personally.

Best way to live in my opinion.
Her children seem content, and I can guarantee her children will learn more life and survival skills living how they do than being in main school where kids get taught rubbish. Good on this lady

Honestly there's no point in going to school, I see my time going to school as a complete waste of time, it literally steals the soul out of you. As long as you teach your children how to read and write, maybe a foreing language, and encourage their talents and to be disciplined and consistent in something they like that's really all they need to live. People complaining about their "lack of education and healthcare" probably hardly ever see their children at all cuz they'll be working all day while their children are at school or hooked on tiktok and anxiety/depression pills like any "normal" teenager these days, no thanks this mother is saner than all of you

The irony of you males saying "fatherless activities" is that you're blaming a man. Think really hard about what you just said.
You are saying her actions are because she has no dad in her life (which you absolutely do not know if she does or not). You are blaming a male for her behavior.
And also, where is the father of the children ?

    • @Horrorwhore6

The kids live with their dad 90% of the time! She lost the kids because she is nuts! The father was fighting for them and finally won!!
