If you're planning to leverage your background in finance and sales, learning cyber security and positioning yourself for a tech sales job for the many cybersecurity firms out there seems like a no-brainer. However, if you're wanting to move away from sales and become more technical, theres a few different pathways to pursue - the easiest would be getting a job in tech support for a large firm and continue developing your skills.

Thank you for this information 🙏🏾. It seem like the most highest paid jobs need to learn coding. Also thank you for allowing us to get ahead of the technology trends. More than likely we will have jobs that would be waiting for us.
You’re welcome. I would suggest learning to code for any tech job. You don’t need to become an expert, but it’ll give you a strong foundation. And yes, most of the roles I mentioned are going to go to people with coding skills.
@@ShiftToTechWithRegwhat’s a good coding program you’d recommend? I want to learn coding
@@yochieng I recommend you check out Educative. Great coding platform for learning full stack development and more. educative.pxf.io/SHIFTTOTECHWITHREG
@@ShiftToTechWithReg ok, thank you 🙏🏾
At what point do you talk about the challenges to obtain a career in these fields? The certifications, degree and connections are not just it. What about the testing recruiters give to applicants during the interview process? Additionally, the fundamentals that will be required in these positions? UI/UX is an amazing field. But having a portfolio is just not enough.
Cool video. You highlighted careers. But people shall take note they need to do their own research further.
We can only tackle so much in one video. I’m just finishing up a video right now which tackles most of what you’ve mentioned. Thanks for your comment!
I know way too many tech ppl out of work so something not adding up
Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I know a lot of people who have been impacted by layoffs as well. Still, skill up and stay ready! 💪🏾
You likely know tech workers who aren’t willing to relocate or don’t want to return to the office “I don’t blame them” but there’s definitely tech jobs for people who have experience. Unfortunately it’s hard to let go of the working conditions we had during covid, it was definitely an employee’s market at that time but not so much right now.
Thank you for this....interestingly, my eyes are on these 😊
Ai, UX/UI, Cloud Engineering
My pleasure.
This is a great information but I think I need a mentorship 😢 am confuse about tech and don’t know which to go for.
Do you know where to look for good mentors?
No I don't.. tell me

Hello sir, I have no science background and my degree differs from science but i want to learn Cyber security in my home country and apply for a sponsorship Job in overseas. Will it work?
You can certainly pursue cyber security without a science degree. Immigration is more tricky and beyond my expertise.
Nice job, subbed immediately
Welcome aboard!
Great list of Tech roles 👍
