// My Story
I am currently a software developer who once modeled and thought I wanted to pursue a career in the fashion industry. While I was modeling in Hong Kong, I eventually felt the desire to further my education. I decided to depart the modeling world and move back to Canada, knowing that could be the end of my modeling opportunities. I attended Ryerson University for GCM (Graphic Communications Management), as I thought I might still work in the fashion industry in another capacity. It was in my last year of university, I was introduced to a very basic coding course. I instantly fell in love. From there I knew I wanted to pursue software development but didn't have a clue where to start. I didn't want to go back to university as I just completed a four-year degree. I decided to enroll in a 10-week intensive coding Bootcamp. From there I started working at a small startup learning and growing my technical and soft skills. I then transitioned to a larger company where I am a software developer and technical consultant today.

could you do a video on the top emerging tech cities? As someone who is studying for Data Analyst, i was discouraged by all the talk of the tech industry being over-saturated. But recently found out that the city closest to me was ranked as the least competitive for that role. I think it would help a lot of people.

I was looking at a 6 month program through Great Learning that's associated with University of Texas Austin. I'm not sure if it's a good option? Any feedback would be appreciated.
yow this video may of just given me the courage and encouragement to start my life in tech.
Funny all this push for data scientists when what most places want is data analysts. Add to that a lot of places will hire someone in a data science or data analytics role who quits quickly because the employer has no data governance standards (or fails to resource or enforce them) which relegates most of the data employee's efforts to fights over data management before they can even start doing their job effectively.

Medical coding refers to entering in the codes for insurance claims. It is not programming

SDET role is thee role - you can write pure code and also integrate devops and facilitate between development, testing and devops, idk why this is not popular in most areas, I know in Canada it is because it is a world of its own, people overlooks this position, every SDET is a developer but instead of html and css, you write pure code with a test framework, they will always be in demand and mastering this field could end up in a real nice salary since it involves coding and more than just coding.
Yeah ok ok. I have certs, full stack dev projects, and like 12 coursera classes around math and computer science but am getting passed for help desk roles. I'm confuuuuuuused.

Cybersecurity might be very boring for certain people. You have to be very alert and fully focused on protecting data and networks. I believe it’s hard to get into if you don’t have experience. But once you do get into the field. The competition starts to get less competitive

I just got my net+, sec+ and OSCP and I can't get a job with out 5 years experience 😭
This is my main concern... I noticed a lot of entry level jobs require tons of experience years. Which makes no sense because how can you be entry level with 5+ years of experience. I am also having a hard time

Content doesn’t match at all with the title “top entry level” salaries. Info presented is Too generic what can be easily assessed by even the most lazy people on google.110k for cloud, $140k for data scientist are for people with atleast five years experience. Entry level salary for AI position seems right, what is not the best compared to other professions in demand. She is just a professional youtuber, who has no background in IT and relying on people, who are jobless or underpaid, to watch her video that she can make few $$😊 my advise is don’t take her words. Work hard and Keep trying looking for jobs till you get any entry level job with $60k plus salary
