I love microgreens. Recently had them as salads... they are amazing when added to it. People should start growing them after watching this video. Keep going.
Great video! And di i tried this and it was normal the fenugreek seeds sprouted too. But then suddenly one day i saw fungus had fully covered the seeds so i had to throw them away. Is there any way to prevent fungus in it? Pls reply soon
No, you cannot remove fungus once they are in. Next time, keep them at a ventilated place. With this you can delay fungus but not for long. So, use your greens before them they turn food for fungus. 😊
Ohh, did not have any idea of it. You can grow with sand, cocopeat, clean cotton cloth or tissue. Control watering and proper aeration are the key factors when grown with cotton or tissue.
I am not sure what mistake I have done..all my seeds have fungus...I have used only one tissue in box, and sprayed water mrng and evening..but I haven't closed the lid completely..can you plz advise what's going wrong
Sterilize the containers first with lukewarm water, use 4-5 layers of tissue papers, too much water before germination (absolutely not, keep the tissues moist only) Water requirement- keep the tissue papers wet after germination, open the lid completely after germination, keep all the containers at an open space (good ventilation), sprinkle a few drops of water when needed.
Not compulsory, it depends on the temperature. You need to check the seeds regularly. Once you see the true green leaves, don't cover the lids. I hope this help you🙏😊
Loved this, thank you so much for sharing 😊💜✨

Did you use soil or tissues
@@shobanagangadharan6936 tissue
Looks very nice 👍🏻
Thanks 🙏.. what about the left overs? Can we reuse them? Or do we have to start again from fresh seeds?
You cannot reuse the leftovers. You have to start again from the seeds.
@@eURBANORGANICGARDEN ok thanks for the reply
Thanku very nice
Great video. Very easy to follow instructions.
Have a question- can I use normal newspaper instead of tissue paper?
Thanks a lot. Please avoid using it. Newspapers carry chemicals. Rather use a thin cotton cloth.
Do we have to keep watering the seeds after covering the lid?
No, tissue remains moist once you cover it with lid.
Is watering required before sprouting?
?
Yes tell us
Do we need to sprout the moong before putting on the box?
No, not necesary.
Container mai holes to nahi karne
once harvested can they grow again and can i harvest 3 times from the same plantation
You can harvest once. Only wheat grass can be harvested 3 times.
Moong is sprouted?
After cutting the greens.. again the greens will grow or we have to repeat the process
We have to repeat the process. Only wheat grass can be used that to 3 times, not more.
Can I do this with broccoli 🥦
Does the tissue have to be very or little wet?
Little wet
Do u keep holes on the lids of the boxs
no holes
@@eURBANORGANICGARDEN tq and I have another doubt can we close boxs with tissue paper ?? And can water seeds after closing with tissue??
@@eURBANORGANICGARDEN please reply mam
Sorry for replying late. Please don't cover the seeds with papers. Use at the bottom only.
@@eURBANORGANICGARDEN kk mam tq

Can I grow it in sand or layers of carton boxes , please reply 💕👌🏻❤️
Ji, how can we take multiple harvest with this method.. or grow seeds?
We can not harvest multiple times. Only once is possible. Only with wheat grass, you can get maximum 3 times.

I have 2 questions
1.the boxes that we use should have holes or not
2.before sprouting should we place them in dark or light?
No holes. No need to think of dark or light, cover with a lid is must for humidity.

Hello ma'am
I tried it and should the container be airtight or needs some holes on boxes?
No, it's not essential. Only need to water carefully. If it is your first time, try with soil😊
@@eURBANORGANICGARDEN I have no soil nearby ma'm due to lockdown restrictions..

Tissue paper mainly leads to fungus growth, try to use cotton instead of tissue paper.
We have to close the lid for four days please answer

Thank you this is for my school project work
Ohh😊, good luck for your project.
After harvesting does it grow back to back
No dear. For 2 or 3 times harvesting, you can grow wheat grass.
what do I do to grow cilantro micro greens without soil?
Never tried growing it. But you can try with this method and see if it is working. Else directly sow on the soil.
Can we regrow once the first harvest is done?
No dear. For that, you have to add a layer of seeds again. Wheatgrass regrows and you can harvest 3 times from a single batch of seeds.
I already put it in my home will see
It will grow
@@eURBANORGANICGARDEN thanks fenugreek have but corriyander not yet
Coriander takes time due to the hard outer cover.
