Cruise the Rhine River Valley full of castles on our way to Rudesheim, Germany - where we spent time at the wonderful Music museum there. Which I highly recommend! You also must make sure to do the full Rudesheim experience and do the 'Taste of Rudesheim'. Sailing along the river passing more than 40 castles was the highlight of my Europe River Cruise experience - it was so neat to see.

What was the date that this video was shot? The water looks a little low, but not like some of the pictures I've been seeing. We're leaving for the Amsterdam to Budapest on Aug 24.

Great video. Looks wonderful. Are any parts of the Rhine impassable at the moment due to low water levels? We are doing this cruise 3 September travelling from Australia to Basel and are interested to hear if you have had any unplanned changes, ship swaps etc.

We encountered shallow waters so had to swap boats around the Rhine Gorge Lorelei rock. All patrons cruised the shallow stretch of water in a public ferry then caught a bus to take us to the near identical sister ship to unpack and continue the cruise in the same cabin number and same cruise director.
