i use one small and one big wheel and used a ruber band to conect both instead of gear it works same as gears

Bro can we use ttp223 sensor instead of the buttons
In this code, the digital buttons should be connected to GND to activate.
If this sensor gives low signal when it is activated, then it might work.

This is not encoder, it's 10k potentiometer.
You can use directly, but wheel will be just 270 degree.
To increase degrees of rotation, we have used gears.

SMD version of Arduino has ch340 chip for serial communication.
But this firmware is for 16u2 chip which is present on Dip version of Arduino.

Potentiometer is 270 degrees , After using the gears the steering is 900 degree.

Hello sir How to upload the Arduino Uno firmware, what is the Smd Atmega 328 version
To upload the firmware, you have to go into DFU mode which is possible only in DIP version.

But this is not possible in SMD version

You can use any value of Potentiometer. It doesn't vary much.

Why dont you connect it to a cheap controller ?
This firmware is only supported for Arduino uno.
