He meant that you can do this without signing to a record label / deal. There are ways to get all that you want but you gotta put your all into it and don’t half step the hustle. You need to be as active when everyone is sleep. Nobody will work hard for you
I agree with you also ppl like the fact that independent artist are hands on with everything which is why most mainstream artists are flopping because their not genuine with their craft.
