Bro, i think while cleaning you have change the butterfly position. which can leads to throttle body re-calibration. rest i feel the neatness and completeness in your work... 👌

I am glad you liked the video.
Yes I touched the butterfly position while cleaning. But in case of suzuki vehicles, if you remove the battery terminals before cleaning, it resets to default position. If that doesn't fix the throttle position, then you can connect the negative and positive terminals directly (bypass battery) via single jumper cable for 30 min or more. That will also reset the throttle position. Usually i use the jumper cable technique with my honda city and it works. But in case of suzuki, disconnecting terminals always works

@@pastewax-pk good to knew about the fact of Suzuki, but what if you do not touch the butterfly part and after fitment just press the paddle with ignition switch on. this act will turn the butterfly angle and you can use the carb cleaner spray for the cleaning of remaining part.

@@armoghankhan121 Yes that's a valid technique. I have seen many people do this on youtube

Thank you for making the video, I have completed 30k kms on my Alto in two year and it's not giving good average now, i change all the filters on every oil change at 5000 kilometers.
My question is can we clean the throttle body without taking it out?

Yes, you can, but you may not be able to clean it thoroughly.

Did u feel any difference in fuel averagr after this?

I don't let it become very dirty so in my case there won't be much difference in fuel economy.
But if someone don't clean it for long time, then yes the fuel economy will improve and engine idling will be much smoother

If throttle is not causing problem why should we clean it on specified intervals? Is there any logic? I think most of dirt is already passed from throttle to cylender than mere throttle cleanind won't do wonders. What is your take. I think this is a stunt by 3s

If you don't clean it, your mileage will decrease in the long term and in the worst condition, your vehicle will rough idle, jumpy or sluggish acceleration, or stall. Why wait for that to happen? It is better to at least clean it once a year or every 20,000 km. Personally, I clean it every 6 months.
