Grass is greener is most likely to come back. On the other side Monkey Branching rarely come back, the shame to admit the cheating for a long time. Just a big piece of shit could do this to someone, after years of shared moments and memories..

Going through this now. Wife had a affair with boss at work, stopped it, came back for 8 months, then went back to him, kicked me out my house moved him in 2 days later, lived together 3 months now moved in together some where else.
21 years, 3 kids, a business and about to buy her a house all gone....

Same thing happened to me I became a father figure to 3 boys 3 years later she left me after almost 2 months of breadcrumbs and false hope I told this hurts to much so if you love me then block me so she did never heard from her 3 weeks later she has a new relationship and sleeps in the same bed I did. That monkey branching seems really scary. It is almost like you can never be assured with anyone. How do you test for this?
Watch for the red flags early on..
Do they keep a bunch of orbiters from the opposite sex around?
Are they constantly negative or bitchy or talk badly about other people.
Do they test your boundaries and can’t accept the words “no”.
Did they put you on a pedestal early in the relationship and are now tearing you down?
Go slowly and don’t rush the relationship.
Should only look for someone else, while you are committed, if you are in an abusive relationship and cant make a clean break easily. It is easy to spot a monkey brancher or grass is greener by testing them with an attractive friend.

My boyfriend completely blindsided me and broke up with me in June after 1 1/2 years. We had a great relationship, or so I thought- we didn't fight very often and I thought we were happy, I didn't suspect anything and was completely shocked especially since everything seemed completely normal. I even received my good morning text per usual. Later that evening.... he broke up with me. We were talking marriage, a family, he even took me ring shopping! I had even put an offer on a house 2 days before bu!!!!! I found out 2 1/2 weeks later he was already in a relationship. I'm still completely and utterly devastated and heartbroken. I just feel in my gut he's the one. Do you think maybe the whole house thing scared him and this is a case of grass is greener? Do you think I may still have a chance and he'll come back?

@@vincentbos I am 38 and my ex is 31. We are both divorced and I have a 7 year old from my ex husband. We also live 20 minutes apart, which isn't much, but he mentioned he was exhausted which I am assuming that's what he meant by that- he didn't really say. He said we always did what I wanted to do, which wasn't necessarily true, but he never made any suggestions. He said he shouldn't have to "wait" on his girlfriend and that he's changed and we have different paths, but didn't really say what that meant, it was really just one reason (excuse) after the other. If it was really because of my son, does it really take that long to figure out that's not what you want??? We didn't argue much and had a great relationship. There was no indication that this was coming. I'm just so confused and heartbroken. I love him with every shred of my being and I don't even know what to do with myself

@@vincentbos we live in the U.S. when we broke up things were still pretty locked down, but now the majority of places are open with restrictions. He doesn't have any children- but his ex wife lost a child when they were married. Yes! He always talked about having children. In fact, just 2 weeks before the break up, after we were intimate, he said, "there better be twins in there" we even had names picked out!

I have almost the same situation. She broke up with me on the 14. Of July, and a few weeks earlier she was saying the she loved me. Probably lying.. I asked her if the dumping is happening because of an other guy?(because it was out of the blue) She said "of course not" and she wants to be alone now, she needs to focus on her studies... 2 weeks later i have seen her with a new boy waking, while holding hands... :) so she probably monkey branched or and already was cheating... Oh i have to say that she broke up with me on facebook:) what a nice person:) after 2 years together, she tought i don t deserve honesty and the truth:) of course it wouldn't have been much easier, but at least she would have been honest... Her father cheated on her mother, she hates her father for this... But still, she did the same with me

I don't think that he will ever come back to me..he had the opportunity, and no I was not the perfect in the relationship, and this breakup has helped me notice that, but I don't think that he really loved me ever like he said. I think he just said that to keep me around. I loved him more than he loved me. He seems really happy with his new girlfriend, so I hope he is happy with the gf. I am going to focus on myself and try to be a better person for the next person who will actually treat me as a first choice versus an option when a relationship doesn't work out. I know that I am worth more than that... I can't believe thay a breakup would make you discover that, but it has... i wish my ex all the best. I also think that they might get married, but who knows...

Hi Shawn, thank you for your question. It's very understandable you are trying to make sense of everything. However, I would suggest trying to focus on your own journey moving forward. Dating / relationship labels won't change the current situation and hence whether your ex was this or that - doesn't really matter. The main thing to focus on is you're exciting, fantastic future, that you can have with or without your ex.
My ex of 7 years live together told me it just happened. We 56. And only a few months talking together and only a few dates. They even bought a house together, and we not even moved out of our home we just put for sale. In Fucking real!

From may 2020, so i gave her space , but she keep reaching out to me within 2 to 3 of days intervals ,. But she have change our terms of relationship and became unsure about it ,,, when I ask her about it , she says, she don,t want this right now ,, and she says, she does not care about me,,, so I told her that I don,t interested anything else rather thn her and cut all contact ,, after 12 days she reach out to me we text little back and fort , she asked questions if I have a new girlfriend or not and why I am so active these days on whatsapp, ,then she reach out to me once again 15 days after that ,she is texting but she says she don,t want to be romantic with me,. So i told her " only contact me, if you sure about me or if there is a hope for future ,, "you have time to think" and cut contact once again ,, I am scare this time ,,, i doubt she will not contact me this time ,😥

But We are in contact, There is no blocking and other things. Sometimes its weird. Thanks for videos. But she has depression (medical), social anxiety. Update? Ok guys, I have been NC but we still have social media contacts. She is posting like crazy. Very unusual of her. She is changing her profile pics so frequently that I deduce that something is wrong. Perhaps, the new relationship/rebound marriage is hitting the wall.
If this is the case science is so EXACT. For the person I know the way she is posting is crazy. And sometimes she post the pic that I took of her! I would never do that if am in a new relationship and let alone engaged. So that is the update guys. Am in a better place now.
