@@AxeLeTiTaN you can but you will need an additional peace so you can wire it into the harness for the stock radio
what was that orange wire for next to the video rca? 12v?
That's a signal wire i didn't need it because my stereo already recognizes when the car is in reverse.

@@user-xj5he2rx7o I don't have a code to check the lights. If you have a code just make sure you didn't cut all the way through the wire that you splice into for power to the backup camera
how did you do the gold emblem in the back?
I removed it and painted it gold.... it just stuck on with mounting tape
I just installed mine. How do you get the correct viewing angle?
There is nothing you can do to chbagr the angel ans it is set when they made the camera i was going to try and add a strip around the back od the camera to see if that would of helped.
Hey bud sorry for what happened to your Jetta!!! I got the same camera as you did and I tapped onto the power of the reverse lights but camera takes about 5 seconds to turn on. Do I have to tap onto another power on the radio as there is a red wire attached to the yellow connection. Any help is appreciated as I am stuck 😅
Hey its all good I am in one peace that's what matters the most as for the camera mind didn't have a power wire that runs to the front as well so not sure. If you have instagram and can send me a picture of it there so I can see what it is you have I might be able to help. @Loni101
Where did you splice that signal wire in towards the end?
I have an aftermarket deck so there was one provided to splice into if you have an oem one you will need an adapter to add to your harness or will have to add the pin into your existing harness not hard to do.
@@LoniVlogZ yeah I have a aftermarket one too but where would I splice it into? I have a red cable in the deck

I also installed one but with trajectory control, i had to solder on a rca male plug with the black to ground and the yellow to yellow for my zenec radio, i'm absolutely sure that i installed it correctly but now and then but half of the time i have no signal, usually the assistance lines don't show up but when they do i have no signal afterwards, i also have a extra canbus plug for the trajectory control to the left or right and i already unplugged it because i thought maybe that is causing the problem but i assume it's the camera.., did you encounter any problems with it?
I didn't encounter any of those problems..... unfortunately my car was totalled but in the time I have had it I had no problems at all.... you could go over all your connections including the ones you soldered or use a multimeter to check continuity of those wires to make sure you have a proper connection.
@@LoniVlogZ i aready measured the ground for continuity, i think it's the camera itself, my radio also has build in lines for the camera which i didn't knew when i bought it and most of the time the lines on the camera itself don't show up or in the worst case no signal
so it's not working stable at all.. 🙂

Got the same camera but when I put it in reverse I got this weird black and white video with like lines and a bunch of different screens
That's weird check that the plugs into your head unit is connected properly

This is know as the MK6 jetta from 2011-2014 and part of 15 if I am not mistaken then my car was a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0 NA yours is MK5 JETTA 2005-2010

It's not a regular vw radio in this video its was an android. If you have the RCD330 you will need the plug I will link below your can remove the pins and insert them on the same way into the blue connector on your plug in the car.

i have a problem with the image, i installed a voltage filter but again the image sometimes flickers
I think I’ll just pay the $200 for this lol
