I much prefer these videos about cultural differences over those about linguistic differences. I’m always interested in cultural content, whereas linguistic differences only catch my attention when they involve a language I speak. By the way, Julia and Miguel are so charismatic; I love the videos with them!
As a Vietnamese person, I was disappointed at the Vietnam part, not only was the flags mixed up with China in the editing but the fact that the flag attached on her was correct triggered me. However the video was still fun and educational, please fix the mistake!!
This "Lufa" plant is known in Brazil as "Bucha". It has several uses. It is dried and often used to rub the body in baths, as well as pots and utensils. The green is edible and can be made into salads and other variations, including sweet brigadeiro... It is very rich in fiber.

That thing to protect food from insects we have that too in Brazil, at least in my region (north) we have. Like if there is some fresh fruits on the table we put that thing to protect it and it is made of plastic too
I have seen banana leaves used in many cultures, including India. You place the food on there, and when you're done, fold it up and throw into trash/rubbish/basura. Also Suman is a filipino dish wrapped in a banana leaf.
Fun video as always. I think it would have been cool as a fan of FMA to showcase a baston for the Philippines. Just looks like a stick, but explaining the use would have been cool. But besides that, I like this crew. Ang ganda ni Yeri 😅

sometimes it can be hurt,But kerokan (scraping) is actually very good because it can improve blood circulation, which is why you will feel better afterwards.
We do have gas showers in Brazil - that stuff is regional. I had a very scary gas shower in Rio, it always felt like I was going to make that thing explode. But it was better than the electric shower - it actually got the water HOT.

want to add somethings here 16:45 this type of massage called "kerokan" (kerok = scrape). the one thing that she probably forgot to say, that coin can be really painful if you have a big sensitivity, especially on your back. but it also can be just ticklish for some people 😂 so im still understand if she said its not painful. 1:42 like her said, indonesia also have hugging pillow like this. its made by fabric that filled by cottons called "guling". as far as i remember, that it was introduced to us when dutch colonial period (correct me if im wrong). and it happens that im using it rn while watching this vid 😂 14:41 this thing also something that we used everyday too. we call it "tudung saji" "tudung" = cover, "saji" = dishes. so "tudung saji" = to cover the dishes. the materials can be anything. for example: a plastic (like the they shown in here), a fabric, a woven bamboo, etc. or maybe with light iron frame then covered with fabric. so it can be anything.
Eyy to the Filipina girl, speak, we also use the banana leaf same with Indonesia for cooking purposes and as a plate. Also the big dipper for toilet use and others stuff.
What the Indonesian shower was a traditional massage technique used by Chinese in Malaysia to help with releasing tension and provide relief for certain sicknesses. I don't know if this is a traditional massage to other Asians. Depending on how certain people massage you, it may get very painful as they often have special tools instead of a coin to induce more redness. But it definitely helps.
