This is just incredible. I will be watching this video a few times. I could literally spend weeks, if not months, looking around Steve's amazing facility, for lack of a better word. That last building is beautiful, not to mention the motor cars within. So glad you met Steve and traveled to show the rest of us on TH-cam. Thank you very much Lou!
In case anyone is wondering how Steve acquired his wealth. His father and his fathers business partner (doctors by the way) developed what is now known as "hormone therapy" for women. Otherwise known as the birth control pill. His father wisely included in the PATENT royalties that money paid by the Pharmaceutical company continue on to his children upon his passing. The dollar figure received per month is staggering. Makes winning the lottery look like pocket change. Steve is a very down to earth guy, and gives back to the community in ton's of ways.

Incredible Collection Lou... Having been a Cadillac Master Craftsman back in the day I have worked on some of these Cadillacs over the years ! When the Cadillac Allante came out I was one of the first to go to GM Training Facility in Tarryton NY to train on the Allante. Very complex electronics for the day... The last ones in 1993 had a Northstar Engine...I used to go all over the east coast to help with Cadillac dealers with problematic Allantes...Thanks for posting!
I’m so glad that this gentleman is saving a preserving this beautiful collection of cars and that it’s in North America so many cars and motorcycles are being shipped out of the country to collectors that we will never be able to appreciate and view again. Todays collection of Cadillac 2000-2011 you would only need one car
I’m envious of you getting to do what you love. Thanks for including us and I can hardly wait to see the featured cars covered in their own special presentations.
I love how Cadillac design was so dramatically different almost year to year, but certainly never the same for more than a couple of years at a time. True thought and passion went into the design and engineering of Cadillacs. Which is in stark contrast to the last couple of decades. While the engineering of the drive trains and horse power and handling are definitely all there, the body design has stayed stagnant. I'd still love to have a late model Cadillac, don't get me wrong, but give me the '59 or '67 Cadillac, and I'll take those over the late models every time! Thanks for the tour of such a great garage of Cadillacs, and I can't wait for the individual features of some of your favorites, Lou!

The Dagmars on that 58 El Dorado should have gotten this an 'R' rating. The garage space is a work of art in itself. What a fine sign collection and 50's Hollywood memorabilia. I grew up in 50's Hollywood - he nails it. Mr. Plunkett gets the Caddie Jedi Master award for his GM knowledge. His collection is a true labor of love - Gilmore like but even more depth. It covers every base - amazing. The entire garage collection is a ART piece of the highest quality. The cars are a part of it. The Auburn boat tail speedster is my favorite car of all time. and he has a superb example.

This was an amazing experience for the history of Cadillacs. I’ve always liked Cadillacs because growing up the families first was a 1960 Sedan D’Ville, then a’63 and a ‘66. After which parents changed to a 225 Buick Electra. My favorite was 1964 Fleetwood which I owned for many years.

I won't write about the details that I'm used to mention simply because I wouldn't finish; but it was worth it to accompany you on this fantastic tour while its owner, Steve Plunkett, shared interesting stories about these great machines (I'll just make a special mention for the shot where you showed us all the back parts of those Buicks, while it was raining, and the building at the end with a design and architecture clearly reminiscent of the showrooms of the 20s and 30s). What a fascinating collection of automotive history! My dad told me about the development of automatic transmissions, and their incorporation in “tanks” many years ago. Nice to have this gentleman confirm that, and provide further details. Johnny Cash’s “Blackillac” (my affectionate nickname for “black” Cadillacs), was interesting too. However, I could never figure out why they would offer “dual” crests on the leading edge of the hoods. You could actually order the top one as a factory dress-up option!
All those Cadillacs, and not a '65 in the bunch. Perhaps I shouldn't mention it, but I've been looking now for decades to recover my long lost love, a 1965 Sedan deVille hardtop who got me through college in style. Aspen White with a turquoise leather/fabric interior. It had 70K mi. on the odo when I bought it in 1975 for $750.00. Why did ever sell that car? It haunts my dreams to this day. Lord, I don't need an entire collection: One classic car is all I desire. Is it too much to ask?

I’ve already seen the video with the 53 Eldorado! No need to say convertible because they all were. This man has a serious collection and I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the individual videos! I had a 70 DeVille convertible. 75 Eldorado convertible. 84 Eldorado Coupe but my favorite was the 85 Eldorado Biarritz convertible.
Hi , were you able to see the Chicken Coupe de Ville ? My friend Ernie Foster found it for Steve as found in California in a chicken coupe, had it shipped from California, amongst Steve’s favourites
I recall seeing a Cadillac V16 decades ago at the Toronto International Centre near the airport. I looked at it and something seemed off. It appeared to be parked and turned off but when I got around to the rear by the exhaust I realised it was running!
Steve hosted a car show every year on his property. He would bring celebrities in to do meet and greets, the garages were open to see the cars. They were the best car shows I have ever been too! I've heard he still hosts a cruise night, but I haven't been any of those. Any one interested should look up Fleetwood Country Cruise in here on TH-cam. There are lots of videos.

Did Steve Plunkett acquire that Titanic model from the J.B. Nethercutt collection? Back in the '80s, I was VP at a PR firm that handled publicity for the first expedition to actually recover artifacts from the Titanic wreckage. Through the talking drums, we learned that Mr. Nethercutt had a scale model of the ship in his personal collection, and he generously allowed us to feature it in photos with Telly Savalas, who would be hosting the TV special. At the time, Telly was living in a penthouse suite at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, which was just 14 miles from the Merle Norman Tower of Beauty in Sylmar. We figured we could have a limo take Telly to and from, but no soap: If we wanted to do the photo session, we would have to bring the Titanic model to HIM. Mr. Nethercutt was generous to a fault: He permitted us to transport the model to Universal City (although I did have to sign my life away should anything happen in transit). Fortunately, the load floor of my 1988 Toyota Cressida wagon, which we used to transport my wife's concert grand harp in those days, was just long & wide enough to accommodate the model. Telly Savalas: What a Prima Donna. "Who Loves You, Baby?" Certainly not I!

Hi Fred, Happy to read you enjoy this "fascinating collection" with you :-) Lou
love these amazing cars!!! wow!
I do too.
@@loucostabile good company!
I don't have time right now to view the entire video, but what collection it looks like. 😮

Hi James, Happy to share this collection with you :-) Stay tuned as we're sharing many of the cars in individual videos, Lou
What a nice collection of cars, they're way better than today's electric cars!
Happy to share this collection with you :-)
All those Cadillacs, and not a '65 in the bunch.
Here you go.... th-cam.com/video/6FVboOvg_Ps/w-d-xo.html

I feel your pain, bro. Mine is a ‘79 Buick Regal Sport Coupe turbo; with Limited (loose-pillow seating), red Firemist and a burgundy 1/4 vinyl top. 😢
Amazing collection one of a kind.

Lou, I certainly hope that you will feature more of Steve's cars. I did not see a single one that was not worthy of a full length feature episode.
Daniel, Yes, every one of Steve's cars are winners for full length videos. Stay tuned and you'll see the ones we've picked. Lou
Oh, I will, but just do em all! @@loucostabile

Hi Jeffrey, You put "convertible" in the title for Google search purposes. Happy to share this collection with you, Lou
Hi , were you able to see the Chicken Coupe de Ville ? My friend Ernie Foster found it for Steve as found in California in a chicken coupe, had it shipped from California, amongst Steve’s favourites
....see the end of this video :-)
Hi Andrew, yes you’re right. I bought it from Tom Hartman & Ernie Foster. 2009. Where’s the time gone!! Steve
I recall seeing a Cadillac V16 decades ago at the Toronto International Centre near the airport. I looked at it and something seemed off. It appeared to be parked and turned off but when I got around to the rear by the exhaust I realised it was running!
Hi A, You would think with all those cylinders it would be noisy, however it's the exact opposite.
Awesome. Would love to visit!
Happy to read you enjoy this collection :-)
Неймовірна колекція! Дивився на великому єкрані ТВ! Дякую!
Hi Сергій, Happy to read you enjoy this "Incredible collection" and on the big screen too :-) You're welcome, Lou
Been there for a few car shows in past. If you’re a car nut - there is literally no better place to visit.
Happy to read you've been here :-)
Steve hosted a car show every year on his property.
Hi Leon has "Trains for Brains", Thank you for sharing. Seeing you enjoy trains.....Good news! Here is a link to a playlist I created of model train layouts & trains for you to enjoy, Lou th-cam.com/play/PLkoIzmOYXcchOyKhEHn_2-NqjpNFq64U3.html
If you don't mind me asking about the green 1969 RS Camaro does it have the original color green deluxe int, PW, FPDB, AC, tilt steering, green int. Original color I believe was frost green. My car had those options and I'm wondering what happened to it since I sold it in 2002 out of Staten Island, NY.
Hi Thomas, I don't know much about that car. Hopefully Steve and I will do some more next year and maybe that car will have its own featured episode, Lou
The green RS Camaro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I’ve got an extremely low mile 2003 deville. But I think the head bolts were too short and I have all these service stability system traction control lights on .. drives me bananas. But she is beautiful..
Hmmm, seems to be a challenge. Happy to read you enjoy the looks of your car.
Wasn't Steve Plunkett a former NFL quarterback years ago ? What an unbelievable collection of Cadillac cars. Wow.
Hmmm, I don't know.
@@loucostabile it was Jim Plunkett I was thinking of, not a Steve. Plunkett was born in CA, but did play for New England Patriots years ago. I was confusing Canadian connection I guess. Anyway, great great car collection.
Steve must truly love Vouge tires & tinted glass.
Thanks for sharing what you notice.

I see Steve is from the London area, interestingly my uncle Walt had lived there and was the owner of the LFP many years ago.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi Ron, I bought the titanic model at auction from a local restaurant here in London Ont. I don’t know the prior history but it’s amazingly detailed & lights up too.
Can you visit his collection? I would love to see his collection in person.
