I feel like Americans look at kpop idol who have to vocally train silly but I’m like daaaaamn girl you went from “average singing along the radio voice” to “ohMYSHES MAIN VOCAL MATERIAL”
Tiffy Hanh IKR, not gonna lie when I first learned about the training system I instantly thought it was pretty smart from a business standpoint.
There are many american artist who are vocally trained, so it's probably not that surprising.
Sydney Easter i found it normal because I stage manage musical theatre show and lot of my actors take voice lessons but I’m talking about when you say “kpop idols have to train singing and dancing” American artists don’t go through that they kind of just get sign and put out music it’s not as intense process

I love how she’s able to look back on memories of herself and point out things she adored and laugh about things she might’ve been embarrassed about... I really admire confidence like that and I hope one day I could have some too 😂😂

Hey Grace. I love your storytimes. Could probably give your thoughts on a few gray incidents that happened in k-pop. E.g. T-ara bully controversy, Jessica’s sudden departure from SNSD, Hyuna, E’Dawn & Cube drama, etc. I think your opinion matters since you’re someone who has been in the industry. As a kpop fan myself, it frustrates me when kpop idols are being silenced in these scandals and only their companies are allowed to give statements. Fans just want to hear from their idols side too. This is just something that a lot of people would definitely be interested in.

Even though you didn't have the chance to debut, I believe that you are better off now. Things happens for a reason and maybe your path wasn't to be in a kpop group, but it never hurts to try and experience being a trainee. reina yu She decided to leave the company when her contact was supposed to be renewed. She decided it wasnt worth it because of the difficulty the future may hold so she went back home to do her studies and pursued a different career :)

your singing was really good! seriously! the dancing, definitely not so much at first, but remembering the steps and having confidence is always the best foundation for improvement. it's hard to believe that you didn't have any training or practice prior to this!
