I would say that if one is purchasing from a reputable dealer, they should be confident they're receiving genuine products.

There is absolutely no strong evidence that reputable bullion dealers are letting fake Pamp bars "slip through." It's completely unfair and frankly tinfoil hat paranoid.

There are fakes for everything, But I am not going to stop buying the real deal. These are beautiful bars. If you buy fake that is on you for not doing the research before buying from that company whoever is selling it.

Sigma can give false readings so do not just rely on that test. I just did a video showing how 5 proof cameo us quarters gave a false reading and I have done gold videos as well that showed false readings. Check out that recent video to see the results

Unfortunately there's a lot of fake items out there that people try and sell to others I wouldn't stop buying something if you love collecting them if you're able to find some at a coin shop or reliable online dealers for a good price some might be worth buying because certain pamp bars can go up a lot

That's why I don't buy minted bars. Only cast bars. 2 reasons: fakes and premiums. I'm particular, Lady Fortuna is a fake magnet.

I always buy gold and silver from reputable dealers and literally the first time I bought some bullion from eBay it was fake, had plenty of warnings about potential eBay purchases but also seen a lot of good comments on purchases from other bullion TH-camrs. I just couldn’t believe that my first try was a fake 🤦🏻♂️ first and last attempt 😂

I recently got a 1 ounce Perth mint from a reputable dealer but there’s so many fakes I’m also worried about it. Even though I got it from a very reputable seller in person. I called them and asked and they said they would test it in front of me if I bring it in so I might do that. However I heard it’s possible for tungsten plated bars to sometimes not even show up on the scanner.
Buy from a shop and have them test it as solid gold right in front of you.
Just don't buy online anymore but don't stop buying altogether.

You can usually buy gold from the Bank. Reputable Bullion Dealers are the best way forward!

always use a gold tester-they are hard to fake or demand an acid test before buying them.

The other bar I bought had a darker package that looked the same but the QR code worked with the built in QR reader on my phone.

Sigma can give false readings on items that appear to be gold or silver. I have done a few videos showing that. Just did one this past week that showed false readings on US proof cameo quarters.
