I get it. I personally love gold bars and pick them up when I see a low premium. Here in the States, we don’t pay tax on American Silver Eagles when we sell them, no matter the amount. Other sovereign coins impose a tax on any sale over $10,000 American dollars but ASEs are as free as American soil after the Revolutionary War. 🦅🪙

For £5000 I would invest in 1oz Brit, definitely fractional gold like sovereigns. Super liquid and easy to sell if you only wanted £450-900 etc. And finally 1oz silver Brits

China i suspect has the most gold by now probably closer to 30,000 tons..as for america no audit done for over 50 years who knows if we still got it

These are my favourite, I've got over 10 silver ones and got the gold one last year too. Only down side is they are kept in a vault so I don't get to see them much.

Never invest on gold or silver again. It's all scam. When you cash gold on local bullion dealers. I have to tell you. Most of them are all robbery. They won't offer the market spot price , and you need to deal like Mafias in the diamond distric in NYC. And dont think about Gold IRA account either, you dont have physical gold, and you have to pay online bullion dealers the management fee annually. I bought my gold collection from International Precious Metal, they even refused to buy back my gold collection. I was so shock. Please have a fair transparent buy-sell platform to transaction these precious metals. Otherwise, gold, silver, precious metal are just other financial scams.

I retired in 2015 at 45 years old. How? I worked my arse commuting 3hrs round trip everyday doing 12hrs of work, sometimes I worked all weekend, no break. I earned and saved. Then I bought income producing assets with my savings which replaced my salary. It took me 24 years of working to get to that stage. Everyone wants it now, but no-one want to put in the effort.
