Absolutely love it!!! Spinosaurids are my absolute favorite dinosaurs and you absolutely did them justice with this… also idk why but I just really love the idea of the icthyovenator using a turtle shell to court a mate like a bower bird or something, it’s such a neat idea!! And as you can probably tell from all the comments I’m binging your videos lmao… hope all the notifications aren’t too much of a bother :)
Hi!! I love your work! I love hearing and seeing your process and the ways you go about studying different animal's anatomy to incorporate into your illustrations. I do the very same thing, and I'm so glad to see others doing so! Keep doing what you're doin', you're doing great !!!
Honestly man, there is so much that i can learn from you in every media! I have a youtube channel too where i draw mostly dinosaurs, but you are way ahead of me. I want to learn how to do backgrounds more so i can make more of a finished piece. I also think that your editing is pretty good and verry entertaining, i cant wait for your next video!
I'd say it's best to think not about what animal it acted like for coloration, but where it lived. Let's say spino hunted in rivers, with constant sunlight, and fast moving water. The spino would most likely have counter shading to hid from the fish looking up at it, as like you said, it was probably an ambush predator. So a very light blue belly, and since it might of had to worry about animals like carcharodontosarus. So maybe it would have darker colors to blend in on the top. Add weird colors on the head probably to attract mates, and that's what I'd guess spino would look like.
This is really damn good I’d love to hear how you learnt to sketch and paint dinosaurs like this as I’m looking to improve!

Thanks a lot! I remember watching your vids years ago. You’ve definitely improved a lot. Love the more comic book aesthetic.

I literally cant draw the head shapes of dinosaurs
It doesnt look like them if the head shape is off so its almost always off
Damn dude I love your art 😩
You are so underrated bro
I like to think that it is giving the shell to a potential mate like a penguin with pebbles
That’s what I was thinking when I made it
i agree
