I encourage you to check village (sherkhan Wala mansa) you will see the solar panels in around 100 acres what government does it takes over the land which is not producing anything and install solar system which gives the farmers 65000 INR per acre and after a year 5 %increase every time?

I have installed solar panels at my house two years back, definitely worth the investment. In two years we have paid under Rs. 10,000 for electricity use, rest was set off by power generated from solar panels. Another huge benefit is that the shadow from the panels keeps the first floor much cooler. I have the panels installed at eight feet height so the terrace is useable. Half the houses in my gated community have done it. The government of India gives subsidy for residential installations.

Really? Bhai Kashmir mai winter mai bijli hoti hee nhi. Like 5 hours a day and I'm talking about srinagar... village mai there is no concept of electricity in winter. The NHPC Colonial projects by Indian state give us no benefit... instead they want to privatize electricity sector.... either you are not a resident of the stage or you are lying or maybe Jammu is more developed than Kashmir ( which Jammuites hate to accept). What i assessed is that we can generate electricity at peak hours(Higher rates) and feed it to the grid stations.We can consume electricity at off peak hours(lower rates) and balance our electricity bills.

Solar: Every commercial building should have solar system to get construction permission. Same for house. Govt can't fight crisis alone.
#Water_Management: Promote separate line for water in house. #First line for #drinking water and #Second line for washing clothes n everything and 3rd line should be for #Toilet purpose. Thus, govt can easily #Treat and re-use the used water.

if light goes off then hybrid system will run solar from solar panel but battery must be connected in order to provide sine wave to inverter to make it "on" .

@Sna Spectrum. 100% agreed. The lower and middle class need to take loan from nominated bank firstly. As a matter of fact, there will be very few such families which got savings to invest otherwise we all know about current economical situation due to Covid-19. But yes its good investment for future to release headache of such undoubtedly electric tariff. Peace!

This guy missed many points like he just explained the scenario wrt K electric, but many other power supplying companies demand it to have 3 phase connection to get access of on grid system.

I would like to know what if solar units are produced more and consumption is less in this case will KE will pay us back in cash / accounts transfer or will they settle it next bill. If I am looking forward to it because I will be more interested if they are paying us back so I can add more panels on my roof by which I can generate more revenue and it will help me in managing my household expenses

You need to instal batteries to use them at night time that makes it more expensive.

No you don't, watch again at 2:00, the excess electricity produced during the day is put into the grid which you can use at night. In other words you can kind of say you are storing your electricity in the government's grid and use it when your usage exceeds the electricity generated ex at night. This would be summed up at the end of the month and you would be billed accordingly.

This solar system is hybrid which means its main objective is to bring electricity bill to zero by sending surplus energy to grid in daytime while you are on grid at night aswell but in positive balance gained by selling electricity during the day , the catch point is when weather is cloudy and during rainy period (eg for 2-3 days)which can extend for many days with grid failure what will be the backup option then? As grid failure occurs simultaneously with rain
then u have to ad storage battries ... its always sunny in karachi may be 5 10 days of cloudy and rainy days , so this wont effect so much here
Farrukh then there will be additional cost of replacing battery every 2-3 years . It is problem in Islamabad rawalpindi aa there are rains for consecutive days.
