    Food for thought for next solar and energy related podcast:
    1. Role of batteries for energy storage.
    2. Virtual power plants; this is the way the world will move. People will export from their batteries at peak hours using net metering, and will be given a higher rate. So proposition for batteries will be better in the coming time. Also it’s a potential product to be made by our entrepreneurs. Imagine if a DISCO needs 1MW instant power at peak time, which can be met by 1000 consumers giving 1kW from their stored energy, then it will stabilize the grid. The technology is available today and this is very much possible by IOT integration.
    3. Li iron phosphate battery manufacturing / assembly in Pakistan.

    We are using DC fans in all of our rooms along with some DC lights for emergency.
    DC equipments ka ye faida hy k directly solar panel k sth connect kr k chala skty hain OR use Computer power supply for it because it converts AC to DC.
    So, this is one of the solutions jo log afford nhi kr skty un k lye.

    I have an IT export business (Software house) in Islamabad, made a deal with plaza manager to let me install solar on top, right now its 4kw only to handle my essesntial load, fans, lights, laptops goal was not to decrease the bill in my case it was the problems i faced in summers, our plaza transformer in specific and load-shedding in general made it difficult for me to continue here, UPS could not run whole of the office.
    This solar came as savior now even if whole day I dont have electricity from 10am to 4pm my load runs on solar+battery, batteries charge from 7am-10am and if by 4pm I dont have electricity remaining 2 hours I run generator, Alhumdulilah and MashAllah.
    Now this is not viable for all not everyone can do this the roof is too small for all the offices in the building to be able to install solar.

    • @hadifayyar7386
      @hadifayyar7386 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      First of all, the power produced by solar will be used by you and then the excess will be exported,
      Power will be imported when your consumption is high and solar production is low.

      If we setup our inverter at a higher frequency then, the load at home will draw power from grid first - the lower frequency power will be drawn on first priority.
      But this is theoretical , as I havent seen any such option in any Chinese inverter.
      Maybe it is diff in Australia.
      Also bilal is incorrect in a few claims.

    • @furqanhamid9578
      @furqanhamid9578 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hadifayyar7386 How can we increase the frequency in the inverter more than the grid? There will be issues in syncing the inverter with grid and violate the code of UL1741?

    • @hadifayyar7386
      @hadifayyar7386 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When it is synchronized , The frequency is not exactly same but 0.5 Hz lesser, that is why first our home load draws power from the inverter rather than the grid.
      So if it is increased by 0.5 hz more than the grid ao opposite effect will be achieved.

    1:08 Solar investment is a fad. The electric price can not remain this high, and solar is only feasible if the price remains at this rate (above 45) and raises from here.
    Buying tbills for that 1 million, or even a stock offering 15-8% is a better choice that solar.
    You can do the maths in Excel.
    Solar is NEVER an investment, it is a depreciating asset.

    • @Shrimpspiration
      @Shrimpspiration 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Solar in Pakistan is basically an asset for the rich, so poor can keep paying capacity charges that become greater with solar use. Not sure how you of all people found solar as a great ‘investment’ opportunity.
      I bought bought stock in HUBC and EPQL, with agg returns of 30%+ that alone paid for the increase in electric prices and more.
      Solar is the new property boom for the 5% Pakistanis earning more than 100k a month.

      28:09 chart savings in unit converted to pkr vs stocks @ 15% and tbill @25%. If you believe that electricity price will keep pushing up, then you also believe inflation will go up, that will take interest up.
