Orlando, Tampa, Ft Laudrrdale, Miami, Daytona Beach ... all of us knew how to party in the late 90's early 2000's. Man I miss those days. The friends, the double or triple stacks, the parties, clubs, raves and a whole lot of dancing. Sad those days will never return but at least I can still put on a mix and have great memories flooding my mind. Thanks for the upload and keep rockin'

Some DJs are still putting out fire breaks. Most have started doing trap as well. (DJ Fixx puts new shit out all the time. Icey is killing it with trap, too. He still puts out fire ass breaks. And every year I go to the Aahz reunion & relive the good old days. But I also still listen to breaks 90% of the time, too lol I'm 52 now & will never get tired of it.
20 years later, and this still gets the endorphins going.

I feel like it was in the L8 90s when this mix came out. Bought it at the white rabbit in P.C. Beach. Greatest moments in time and space for me. The positive energy was off the charts and you couldn't help it. Best music and dancing was done in Florida back in those days. It was a totally different world. Shout out to doc roc from South AL who recorded the scratches 4 the hot headz. Not 1 dj but 3.

93 to 00 was a non stop party, rave clubbing frenzy for myself, my sister and friends, we would drive all over Florida visiting all the clubs that were bumping the best beats and Djs ,coming out of Orlando, we were spoiled by Firestone, UV ,the Edge and the abyss before it closed, but God damn what memories, I wouldn't change a thing and don't regret one moment , I would do it all over again in an instant , I listen to breaks to this day and reminisce!
Sounds like a mirror to my life! My sister and I went to all the parties in Florida together as well! Ended up bringing my girlfriend into the scene in 99, and today, we've been married almost 20 years!
I was late to the rave scene but I've always loved bass. I mean, Egyptian Lover, It's Automatic, I was roller skating to those songs in the mid 80s & they're still played in clubs. At least by DJ icey.

I was born in 1997 literally amongst the rave scene. Was going to raves in the womb in the late 90s. Grew up with this music all as a kid in the early 2000s since both of my parents were DJs. So its cool to say that this music is nostalgic even for me!

@@TunesTomb Thank you, and I agree! Also in other news, just talked to my mom the other day and told me that a huge chunk of her original records and rave fliers from the late 90s/ early 2000s got auctioned off from a storage unit she forgot to pay a bill on. Big blow to the soul there...
My kids were raised listening to breaks along with other genres but they loved it. Now their kids get picked up from school with me bumping breaks lol

Baby Anne, icey, after dark mark, Fixx, andre Morales, Joseph planted, Gemini, mondo, sharaz, Paul Santana, Aries, X, the pp parties were second to none. Memory gigs at 1509. Never to be duplicated ever. For the ones that are still with us God bless as the next gens will never know the power of a fresh cracked glowstick and a Vicks vapor inhaler. Last but not least.
