What wisdom he imparts here.. thank you Dr. Fuhrman! 🤓👍🏻You have incredible knowledge and also you’re stating here that we need to be humble enough to realize that with our choices we need to keep in mind that we may need to consider other things, and that our way is not always 100% perfect! Dr. Fuhrman, my B12 level onbloodwork has been is 1448 for the past two years. I have been vegan for the last 1-1/2years, taking a daily vitamin+ nutritional yeast. Is that level ok??? 😮
@ hi, thank you for your response! I was just concerned as it’s high outside of the normal range for the last two years. I now take a daily supplement by Dr. Fuhrman that has the B12 in it, but had just read that high levels can be indicative of bad things.😑😅 Thank you for taking the time to respond! Happy New Year 🎊🎈
There is no such thing as any centenarian living mainly on sweet potatoes and there is also no such thing as blue zones as that is a made up word by Buettner a man with no MD or Ph.D and no credentials in any health, medical or scientific field. Blue zones is an entertainment book which is why it is accredited by nothing.
Or you can eat a whole food plant based vegan diet and "supplement" with sardines a few times a week (B12, K2, D3, zinc, and tons of omega-3s), toss them onto a salad or eat them in wrap with Romaine lettuce....but you have to let go of the vegan label, which can be hard, and avoid the slippery slope of adding an animal product (the next thing you know, your eating meat, eggs, and dairy... I've done it). If it helps, you can adopt the label of "pescatarian vegan"...Anyway, solves all the deficiency problems and it's all natural.
Sounds good enough as long as people aren't slipping down that slope . I don't eat sea food Reason being- Not accessible Very damaging for the environment.. I am an ethical vegan and I onow that I can live an optimal life on a well balanced properly supplemented vegan diet. That natural thing is stupid , illogical and unscientific.. so I do take a multi that has it all..and i also take b12 shots every alternate month. But to each their own.. And sardines are also quite low in mercury..so there's that.
I highly doubt you were fully on board with him. Dr. Fuhrman follows peer reviewed research. Not fad diets that aren’t published in peer reviewed journals.
Dr Furhman has the best approach to plant based eating imo
I hope he can help Chef AJ
Zinc, B12, Omega 3s...EPA/DHA.

Easiest way is to take Fuhrman multivitamins and EPA/DHA oil

The body stores B12. You're probably still going on the B12 you stored when you were eating an omnivore diet.
Yes, the level is ok, but it's not going to stay ok, unless you supplement B12. Be safe: get in the habit of taking B12 daily.

I’d take all of your supplements Dr Fuhrman if I could get them in Australia. Obviously I couldn’t buy the Omega 3’s because of transportation.
What about the centenarians of the blue zones who don’t take supplements and live mainly on sweet potatoes? Fully active well into their hundreds!
Their soils are better ???
what else are they eating and drinking?
There’s not a big population of centenarians any more actually. The biggest one now is Loma Linda, California.

They ate algae and fish from clean oceans. That accounts for the EPA and DHA.

That's what I do.
I would gag eating sardines.

Fantastic comment. I couldn’t agree more. Sardines are an excellent “supplement” to include a few times a week
What you're doing by promoting this "healthy plant-based diet" is taking a chance with other people's health.
I used to be on board with Dr f but now I'm carnivore all the way feel so much better lost over 80 lb
Losing weight doesn't mean healthy. You'd lose weight if you drank nothing but alcohol too.
I had the opposite experience. @@ShroomFactory
