What a great video! I've sailed past the Dock Tower many times while passing through the sea lock on the way to and from Bull Sands Fort. Our ship used to be berthed next to the concrete plant, and later our smaller boat was berthed in the old south lock next to the tower.

Wow, the range on that drone must be amazing. =o!
The range is very good mate but the legal drone flying distance in the UK and most counties is now 500m so I had to use a few different flying spots to get all of the footage. Thanks for watching dude.
@@aerialviewsandhistoriesuk9674 I didn't know there were restrictions for the distance just the height is 400m because it could interfere with air traffic.

Docked in Grimsby in 1987 on HMS Ariadne. Grimsby was our adopted town. I can't remember much about Grimsby, so that suggests that I had a good time and was very drunk. ;)

Brilliant video fella , great narrating . Really enjoyed this , the twinned with Chernobyl is funny . As a Londoner I’ve visited Grimsby a few times as well as cleethorpes and I think the area is so underrated. I think it’s a great place and has much more potential for the future . This place would make Canary Wharf in London look like a Lego land structure . Thanks 🙏 so informative.
