    Great product. Followed instruction in the vid, and snow thrower started on second pull.

    Not sure if this stuff works or not. But got a free Honda HS520 today, owner stated that it would not start. It came with a half can of this stuff, so evidently at some point it was added by the previous owner. When I got home, I attempted to start the blower and it started right up, so my guess is the stuff worked and the guy didn't wait to see if it worked. It was nice getting a freebie where I didn't have to take the carb off and apart to clean or do any other work to it. I Will try this stuff on the next machine that has a gummed up carb that won't start and see how it does.

    Will Gum Buster for Honda snow blower be back in stock soon?

    Will it run with the choke off? Didn't look like it was.

    Running with choke partly on shows that it did NOT work!

    Good job man. I just wonder if for $40 that stuff really works.

  • @cleancarburetor

    Since all Honda small engines run leaner than any other small engines you always have to apply choke when you start it, even when it’s hot. As the engine warms up, you gradually remove the choke. Once hot, you fully remove the choke. Watch the part when the snowblower was turned off at 7 minutes 15 seconds, the choke was completely off.

      Would gum buster work if the snowblower has gas in the oil? Could I replace the oil then try the gum buster?

    • @cleancarburetor
      @cleancarburetor  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kelvinready3693 is your snowblower 2 stroke or 4 stroke? If I understood correctly it's 4 stroke but the oil got contaminated with fuel. This happens if you run the engine with the choke on or partial choke on. If you have a gas in the oil on any 4 stroke engines you definitely have to change the oil. Then you have to clean the carburetor. Yes, the GumBuster will clean the carburetor.

    • @cleancarburetor
      @cleancarburetor  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kelvinready3693 if the 4 stroke engine oil is got a fuel in it it's because the engine ran on choke for too long. Fuel in oil drastically reduces the life of the engine. GumBuster will clean your carburetor before or after you change the oil.

    Frank is the man! Great design and awesome product. Snowblower stated on first pull and right before a big storm coming through too. The valve reusability is a big bonus. Design reminds me of the car A/C systems where you can pump freon via the low pressure valve.

      My shroud seems much more closer and tighter fitting then shown in his video. My snow blower was less than a year old and I didn't want to risk breaking the shroud so I disassembled it. It was a lot of work but it fixed it and I haven't had a problem since.

    Do I need to drain the gas first before I spray the Gumbuster in the carburetor and can I put it back the gas that I drained. Also, the one that you spray in the carburetor is it safe also to use it in Toro snow blower 621.

    • @Mr_Tecumseh
      @Mr_Tecumseh 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its safe on all small engine carburetors. If the gas in the tank is old, good idea to drain it out and add fresh, discard old gas. Put it in your cars gas tank, the fuel injected engine with that much gas in the tank can handle a little stale gas.

      Try spraying it with WD-40. If it doesn't work, replace the fuel valve

      Some WD-40 around the knob, let it soak a few minutes and repeat. It should work. those are plastic parts.

    If you would like to order the purge valve and GumBuster please place the order here (part number SKU 200110):
    www.cleancarburetor.com/index.php/cart/gumbuster-kit-for-all-pressure-washers-with-honda-and-honda-clone-engines
    The purge valve gets installed on the bottom of the carburetor. The GumBuster fluid dissolves the gum inside the carburetor allowing the fuel to flow through the jets again. With this, you'll be able to start your snowblower engine again.
    If you would like to order a new genuine carburetor with the purge valve already installed and Purge Gas (part number SKU 200070):
    www.cleancarburetor.com/index.php/cart/carburetor-with-purge-valve-pressurized-gas-can-for-snowblower-power-clear-621-721-snowblower
    At the end of the season, drain fuel out of the carburetor, connect the purge gas to the purge valve and with a few blasts remove all the fuel from inside of the carb. The carb will be left like in a brand new condition over the storage period.
