Hey, this isn't related to primo flips, but I have a question: If I do pogo and truckstand tricks with a squared off tail will it become a razer tail? Or should I get skid blades? (or skit blades I don't know how you spell it).
I only know varial primo flip and how to get into primo. Ive never done any of the other tricks but my thought procces is all about the timing of my feet and jumping and how much pressure im putting down but im just not skilled enough to do what i think. i enjoy skateboarding alot. i enjoy the grind and have so far become a better person out of it. Note ive only been skateboarding under a year im just about 20 feelsgoodman😎 i still have trouble riding the board though 🥺

Rail flips are so much fun! Mike is right, once you got the technique down, it‘s just all about timing. And the flips are really a lot easier to do as it might seem. One most likely won‘t land it first try, but always keep trying and once you will land one of these, the feeling will be awesome!
The shots from different angles are really helpful. I'm currently learning those and I am at a point where most of them consistently flip as wanted, but unfortunately I keep doing weird stuff with my backfoot and only land with one foot on the board. Seems like I cant commit fully right now. After observing those angels I'll try it next time and hopefully land it with two feet on the board :D
Can you do these tricks on a regular skateboard trick board (one with concave)? Because i tried and i dont know if im doing the steps wrong or im just not able to do it on my type of board.
What if you use your back foot (on the tail side of the board) to push and flip? Keeping your front foot on the wheel? Is this considered a different trick? I have recorded myself doing the rail flip and going rail to rail and I think I spin the board a little bit, making it look sloppy. I just need to flip less and push down more, yes?
