I recently did the same thing using a binder. I decided to group by winter, spring and fall sowing. Then within those three categories, I filed the veggie, herbs and flowers, according to their planting season. One plus I found using the plastic sheets, you can take them outside and put back any unused seeds, keeps them clean and dry. Happy gardening 👨🌾
@@marisagoldberg5898 I use one binder and divide by seasons, then I subdivide within the season with tabs for flowers, herbs and veggies. In the winter section, I have a tab for seeds that need stratification (this way I never forget to put in freezer first). I keep my seeds in baseball card/coupon sleeves (3 to a page).
Definitely going to save this video. I like how sturdy the photo sheets are. I do a similar method in storing and organizing my stickers. Also learned that from another youtuber, but I got everything for that project from Dollar tree. Thank you so much for sharing this method. 🤗🌱
They are really sturdy and so far are working out great. I love it. Really easy to see what you have, and easy to get to everything. This would work out great to store a sticker collection as well. Never thought about that.🤔 I'm glad this video was helpful and I thank you so much for watching. I hope you have a wonderful day. 😁 -Stacy
Thank you for this great suggestion to use a binder with those sleeves. I don't have a crazy amount of sleeves yet to buy those more expensive photo storage boxes and case. So this makes much more sense to start off. Especially as I (and likely many others) already have a binder or two hanging around the house. Thank you! (btw not all seeds last years. Some should be used within the year of purchase: parsnip, chives, leek, garlic.. While still others may last only 2-3 years: corn, carrots, fennel, celery..) Thanks again.🙏
You're welcome, and thank you. I love the binder method because I can easily see what seeds I have compared to the photo storage boxes, and you're right, most of us have a binder around we can use. Thanks for watching and your comment. 🙂🌱
After using it for a while, have you found that they fall out of the sleeves at all? I started trying to put mine in a binder using some scrapbooking supplies (4x6 pockets), and I find that they don't stay put. Are your sleeves doing better? Thanks =)
I only have one binder and I have the seeds in alphabetical order, but that is a great idea to separate them in different binders. Thanks for the idea.😁👍

Hi Ana, I'm liking your ideas! 🤔 I never thought to take it outside. Thanks for sharing and watching.

Great idea, had been pondering that one, looks like I know what I’m doing today. Thanks
I’m about to start organizing mine in the binder method too. Can you explain more about how you organized it each in different binders?

What a great visual way to see your seed packets! I'd like looking through that as much as a regular photo album 😊
Yes, me too!😆 Thanks for watching. 🙂👍

Thanks! Yes, there are so many ways you can store and organize seeds, but I'm really loving this way. Thanks for watching. 🙂👍🌱
Looks Much easier than my toss in a tote method 😊
I have mine in one of those clear containers from Dollar Tree. I like your system better.
So far this binder method is working out great. I love it.
This is a great idea. Thanks so much for sharing Stacy.🍅🍆🥑🥬🥒🥦🌽🧅🍠🥕🧄🍉🍎🍐

Yes, use those binders. This way of storing and organizing my seeds is working out great for me.🙂

These sleeves are working great for me. So far so good. Thanks for watching Amber. 😁
How did you sort your seeds? Do you have one binder for herbs, one for cool weather seeds and one for warm weather seeds?
I only have one binder and I have the seeds in alphabetical order, but that is a great idea to separate them in different binders. Thanks for the idea.😁👍
