Hello, my cooling fans won’t turn off. The car is not hot because I unplugged the battery for a day. When I plugged the battery back in, the fans turned back on even when car is off. What could it be? Also, I installed a sub and speakers in my car, could this short my relays?
Somthing could be shorted double check ur work if the issue wasent there prior to doing that

Hi. Thanks for great video! 1 rely (high speed fan) was burnt. Changed now but new one also keeps burning! Already installed new radiator, new fan assembly with resistor, new thermostat, and also did Head gasket sealant treatment! Still same fan high speed relay keeps burning! What could be the issue you think please? 🙏🏼
What is head gasket sealer treatment
@@RBTheMechanicI used Blue Devil but I also have Bar Head gasket sealer (not used yet). Today the car entered the RED zone on temperature gauge since the Bluedevil treatment (done 3 weeks ago). Already changed everything. Could it be water pump? Help 🙏🏼

I have a 2016 Kia Cadenza Premium and my fan still runs when the engine is off? Could it also be the relay switch? It will stop if I start and shut off the engine again.

Hello I have a 2015 kia cadenza. It dosent over heat but when the fan comes on it wont turn off after the engines is turned off . Do you know of this problem?
The car is dolly too hot and they need to stay on for a bit to cool it off check ur relays and coolant level

When running my a/c or heat, everything is working fine. I can hear the fan running. Suddenly I can still hear the fan blowing but no air is coming out. Then a few minutes later or longer I can feel the air again. The whole time I can hear the fan blowing.

@@RBTheMechanic yes! When I first turn on the air or heat and turn the fan on high, you can hear the fan blowing loudly. When the air stops working you can still hear the fan blowing loudly. I was wonder if there is a switch that when you change from air on your face to defrost on the windshield is closing all the vents then opening back up.
@@jimbernotas8254 check ur mode door motor it might be throwing air else where try putting air face down defrost try all setting that’s the switch it might stop working and get stuck in no air direction
Hello from Kazakhstan. Thank you for this useful video. I have kia cadenza 2015, and now have problem with overheating engine. Few days ago visited electrician, he found problem in 2 relay, and also resistor. I,ve changed 2 relay with lower amper (20) and ordered new resistor. But electrician suggested to change also all colling fan or colling fan motor, because problem is coming from motor of fan, first burned resister, after that 2 relay. What is your opinion, is there will be enough to change resister or change all coolling fan? Thank you in advance. With regards, Daniyar.
Clean out the fan motor as well
@@RBTheMechanic Hello, today i received my ordered resister, and changed it. But i observed that still over filling coolant in reservoir, is it normal? Thermostat and pump is working. Thank you.
@@DT-jp8fh I’m not sure what u mean but these cars have big issue with head gasket maybe that’s what’s going on

No air mean ur blower motor is not working check fuse relay for blower put it on high speed and check power and ground at the connector of blower motor

Hello! My name is Anderson! I followed your video regarding the Kia Cadenza fan tests. I am from Brazil and here the mechanics do not have a good experience with this car, my Kia Cadenza is year 2011 and is presenting the following problem: overheating and filling the reservoir with coolant. I carried out the tests you did on the fan and it is working at both speeds, however when it heats up it DOES NOT activate the fan nor when it activates the air conditioning. What could be happening? I appreciate if you can help me with some information.

My fan want cut off.. it drained my battery... what could it be?
Usully fan will stay on if the computer thinks car is still hot that could be due to faulty siginal from Coolant temp sensor or stuck relay so try checking with scan tool what kinds of siginal and temperature data is with in ecm

I just found and subscribed to your channel. I have a question. I changed my thermostat but my radiator stills needs to be filled everyday. the fans are working. what else should I do?
Well check for leaks? All around the engine all around the block water pump radiator see if u find anything… did u over heat several times before this issue started? Some times it could be bad head gasket and it will burn internally but that’s the last thing u want to rule out or think of

@@jparrott1974 this kia is known for head gasket. If ur still under 100k miles it still under warranty also I think they have recall on the head gasket issue. And talking about head gasket like $3000 and the issue would happne again cuz these new block made of aluminum usully crank

Hello! I changed the 2 relays, the low speed and the high speed, for new relays. The first test I did after changing the relays was to turn on the air conditioning and the first speed fan worked perfectly. However the car still remains with the high temperature and filling the reserve reservoir. Could it be the resistance of the engine fan? And or could it be a thermostatic valve or water pump? If you have any more information, thank you!

I got a 2018 KIA Cadenza and I took it to the mechanic and they said that my fan went out do you think I should try what you did in your video before spending $500 dollars for the fan the on behind the radiator
U can try but since they checked it mostlikely it’s the fan u can try this then check power with test light directly on fan if it got power and ground then it’s bad fan

I have a 2015 kia cadenza that fans continue to run while engine is off.
That means ur car is high on temperature it will do that check ur coolant to behind with it maybe low
When I turn on the A/C there is air blowing but it’s warm. Last year it would blow cold when the car was moving but not sitting, for instance at a stop light. Now the air isn’t cool at all. The refrigerant pressure in the compressor is good. What else should I check?
Kj Howard well I think u should do the service on the ac system the pressure can be good but dose it have enough? The pressure can be air pressure I think all along ur ac system was low on r134 so it gave u cold air when car movies from the high rpm now there I sent enough and no cold air prolly had leak in the system do the service refill it vaccume and recover full and add dye so U can see where the leak is
RB The Mechanic I purchased A/C Pro last week. The pressure gauge went to the middle of the green area. I filled it to the end of the green area on the gauge. Still warm air. I’ll get it checked out. Thanks. The videos are very helpful. Keep it up.
Kj Howard yeah I under stand but some times it’s air pressure also u have to do it properly vaccine and recharge the system with correct amount

I have 14 cadenza and issue is it doesn’t cold at idle unless i hit the gas pedal. After driving for 10 minutes it works fine or at highway. Secondly at night or when the sun is down it works better but when it’s hot or more stop n go it doesn’t work or you can say it works great when rpm is 3 4. What do you suggest what could be the issue ? My fan is working but i notice one thing that inside the car when the ac is on full speed it’s not really fast it used to be too loud when fan i full but now it’s now that fast so please suggest what could be the problem. Thanks and I already subscribed brother.
Haseeb Dewan it might have low Freon and it kicks in enough to make cold at high rpm or it could be ac compressor that don’t build enough pressure... try having ac system serviced first also check to see if the condenser is clean not dirt or anything is blocking it

RB The Mechanic I had this exact issue , had it serviced at kia dealer. They said it’s the blower fan . I took it to another mechanic they said the blower fan is working fine , they also put Freon in the car and it does the same thing .

MANI SOFT I’m not understanding what u mean by ac cooling not coming. Ru saying ac dosent throw out cool at at idle but when engine is reving it make good cooling air? Please subscribe. I will do my best to help
RB The Mechanic I been having this issue. My ac works when I drive but when I idle it turns warm also low ac turns warm I have to keep it on high speed for it to stay cold .
Hello! I let the car work until it reached an ideal temperature to activate the second fan speed. However, even with the activation of the second fan speed, it continues to increase the pressure and add additive to the expansion vessel, which did not seem normal until the vehicle started to present these problems. But at least now the fan is working normally after replacing the relays. But is there anything else to be examined or is it normal after a certain temperature, the pressure rises and coolant flows into the expansion tank?
