After this anime I can expect one thing, more game franchise-based anime's in future. This is clearly a way to promote a franchise and to make people play it again.
The thing is CDPR was hugely involved on the making of the show. Unlike ofc the RE and Halo shows... Shows that are based off of a game tends to be surprisingly good when the actual story writers/builders of that game is actively working on the show instead of some stuck up pompous directors. Ex. Arcane and ofc CP: Edgerunners hell even The Witcher show was good

V tries to get more information bout the edgerunners but Falco contacts him and says hey man don't bother we are out of biz. But during that convo, he mentions David as if he's still alive and that shit gives me hope.
This anime completely changed my perspective of V as a main character. I feel like CDPR should have done way more in the dialogue to show how crazy it is that the Relic basically made them immune to cyber psychosis. The fact that they could walk through the front doors of Arasaka tower and solo Adam Smasher makes them god-like in this universe.
In the game, V can litteraly replace their full body. Plus, watching Dawid go in that suiteand still strugling against Smasher puts into perspective what a beast V is

So in my Game V beat Adam Smasher basically human as fuck on the hardest difficulty. Even though his fight isn't that hard anyway. David may be built different. But V is built like a god.
I mean it is possible, Look at Adam Smasher as an example. V can get so many Implants it puts David to shame. If the Dev's wanted to they could of easily implemented Cyberpsychosis in the player. Hell Even in the TTRPG's it was a big thing too. They implemented cyberpsycho's in the game and made us aware heavily of it happening decent amount there are ample quests to hunt and kill them. So I really feel if they wanted they would of implemented things for the player.

The Relic being able to host a Consciousness likely shared in the Processing of all those Implants. Maybe in the next game, Cyberpsychosis is a real thing where the More implants, the more moments of Madness in Key Quest. Even Side Quest can have gliches occur.

I never watched it, so for me it felt like I was watching an anti-Trigger anime. Instead of the protagonist beating the opponent like this were Kill la Kill, the Twins episode of Star Wars Visions, or the end of Promare, he dies tragically from overuse of cybernetics, mutilation, and getting shot point black with a shotgun.
The whole show was a downward spiral. Just another kid in nightcity. The game which continues the timeline, it's the same thing. People just keep disappearing. 😢
I have long understood that the cyberpunk universe offers no happy endings. I stopped watching a bit after the time skip. I'm just not ready for it. May never be. On top of this shit...I suspect Chisato will die in the next couple weeks as well. May not watch the end of recoil either.

From the very release of the game, I couldn’t decide to buy it, but after watching the anime, I was so imbued with the whole atmosphere of Night-City and the life of cyberpunks that I immediately went and laid out my money for this game without hesitation and now I’m waiting for the moment when I can play it
Watching this show after putting several hundred hours into cpunk 2077 really felt like watching a show that took place in your home town. Absoutley love Cyberpunk, and hearing the music from in game made me really feel like spiderman ( i mean cyberpunk)

This anime made me realize how big the power between factions are and what they're capable of, and just how hopeless life is in night city when starting from the bottom.
Story was always good but the experience wasn't always good. At launch there were even a ton of bugs that ruined emotional cutscenes. Now tho the main story at least is polished up. Still more to do in side quests, and the rest of the game. But after the 1.5 update the story is a much more smooth experience than what it was like at launch where you're constantly pulled out the experience by bugs lol
@@nicobenji0248 Actually at the release, the amount of Bugs was mostly depended from the Device, which u used to play - High end Pcs and Series/Ps5 consoles were more stable, than an old gen, so they had less bugs (I used GeForce now to Play and I was lucky enough, because I had maybe 3 bugs during whole game, at least those 3 I remember - Gliching Palms, when I was driving, they were stretching without reason 😅, Car in the Air, after you visit Victor for the first time, a constant bug in almost every session, and in one mission, the script didn't load properly, but thankfully I had a save just before this point, so I just load it and Script worked again). Right now game is definetly more stable and polished, of course there are still some bugs, some functions still need to be improved, but definetly is MUCH better game, even on old Gens (they needed to cut an amount of redenred Npcs and Cars, to make it stable, this city have to many details, especially in City centre to work good , even on good pc, when you are between megabuildings, a game have a problem with fps, because buildings are fully rendered, even with the roofs, that's a quite killer for pcs and consoles, and not necessary aspect in fact, but at least everything looks good, when u use flying mods 😅😅😅)
Honestly I love to see the animation adaptations succeeding lately. Cyberpunk Edgerunner now, earlier it was League of Legends Arkane and then there's Castlevania with 4 seasons. They're all GREAT shows. W after W after W. We love to see this.
Just finished the anime. There is no pain greater than wanting so badly to cry and not being able to. All the emotional hits in the anime were very well done. Leave it to Trigger to make something this great.

This is the first video I've watched after watching the series in one sitting. I'm... at a loss for words. It's perfect. Actually perfect. Everything about it was right. I have never seen anything like it before. It's... the best.
This anime changed me. But I just don't know what changed. And it's making me sad. It makes me want to cry so much. Edgerunners is not just an anime, its a masterpiece of art and the saddest and the best story I have ever seen.
I’ve been binge watching all these fucking “modern women” cringe comps and I’m ashamed to say I was really starting to buy into the negativity of those subjects. I felt honestly hopeless. But having such a beautifully tragic romance on screen feels like the spark for love just came back. Perfect show

First thing I did after I finished the show(was cry for 15min tbh) but I started up 2077, found the shotgun and jacket and loaded up my hanako save file just to shoot that smasher right back to hell, Didnt really touch that save file since 1.0 so my damage was so broken I kinda one-shot him straight into FINISH HIM mode.. used the entire mag anyways
I just came back from a break of the game (the performance issues were killing me) just so I could smash Adam smasher. The last seconds are so relatable
@@bushmaster1200 Try cleaning it? My laptop used to be around 64 C on idle, and gaming used to push it to up to 95, making games stuttery mess due to thermal throttling. Cleaned the fan vents, and now it's 53 on idle, and around 80s while gaming, plus no stutters. The difference is huge.
After watching this…. I’ve never wanted to annihilate someone so bad. Smoked a fatty, got my equipment and soloed arasaka while listening to “the only thing they fear is you” on repeat with maximum volume and I swear I felt like doomslayer and yoda on crack with my mantis blades 😭😭

After watching the anime i re-downloaded the game just to put some lead on Smasher's skull. Hope they include more missions and maybe dlcs. Can't wait for season 2.
But only one story expansion is planned for cyberpunk 2077, and that one is pretty much ready to release and unrelated to the anime... so it's not gonna happen.
@@Rymeths was supposed to be 4 major DLC's but they're only making 1 now cause they want cyberpunk as far away as possible from them. The game just reminds them of the most botched video game release in history.
Definitely no way it's getting a new season following this story given how the entire main cast (with the exception of Lucy and Falco) dying in the end. Although I could see this continuing as an anthology show, each season being about a famous edgerunner/cyberpunk.
The risks of getting stuffed full of cyberware are surprisingly easily managed if you're smart about it, but the problem is that wouldn't work for a stereotypical cyberpunk tragedy story. Imagine watching an entire episode where he goes to therapy to mitigate the humanity loss from cyberware before the big job and ends up fighting evenly with Smasher.
@@Scaevola9449 it's possible. But I think they mentioned to David that he didn't take the meds for it. Most psycho's you fight in the game is either cause they weren't taking the medicine to maintain it, or was tricked into something to boost it.

I remember very audibly saying "REBECCA NOOOOO!!!" As i saw Smasher falling, i saw it coming, the shotgun felt like a sign, but that didn't make it any less depressing.
i like to have my character use synth-lungs to simulate the idea that he's from sf cuz im from sf and in the cyberpunk world, everyone in sf has lung implants cuz of the amount of pollution now in the city (presumably from the arasaka facilities there)

Coz it is a good animation studio with hits like Brand New Animal and Little Witch Academia were good. Sadly they don't always come up with good stories. Kill La Kill was so nah. Hopefully CD Projekt Red will cooperate with them more. Witcher cartoon would be cool. Cartoon from Netflix though visually pleasing didn't make sense storywise

Spoiler: In this case, I don't think most people really cried cause david died. It's more like people cried for lucy cause now she has to live alone. She got what she wanted leaving night city and going to the moon, but her loved one dying meant everything to her and yeah going to the moon without him is no longer meaningful. but yeah, all good, people have different mindsets. Glad we enjoyed the story

That fits the world, though. There are so many stories going on around you at all times in the world, and while they are of critical importance to those involved, to everyone else, they're at most background noise. That's true of both the real world and the sort of dystopia that Night City represents.
You know what I do like about Rebecca? She isn't a censored character. Why wouldn't younger people be involved in a world like this where everything is so accessible to everyone?

You can make first good impression only once. It was over-hyped ment to be as complex as Witcher but it wasn't. Once released it was buggy. Now it is fixed. But still it is not quite what they advertised quests were meant to be more complex and you were to have an option to romance Judy as a man
This anime will be a classic in my honest opinion like that story telling and character development was so fucking well written and in just 1 season bro…..

I genuinely wished this Anime had more episodes. It was so fantastic. Especially the way they used the ost's it was just so beautifully done.

From the very release of the game, I couldn’t decide to buy it, but after watching the anime, I was so imbued with the whole atmosphere of Night-City and the life of cyberpunks that I immediately went and laid out my money for this game without hesitation and now I’m waiting for the moment when I can play it

Watching this show after putting several hundred hours into cpunk 2077 really felt like watching a show that took place in your home town. Absoutley love Cyberpunk, and hearing the music from in game made me really feel like spiderman ( i mean cyberpunk)

This anime made me realize how big the power between factions are and what they're capable of, and just how hopeless life is in night city when starting from the bottom.
Rebbeca was amazing char she was loyal, caring and ready to roll on call .
After that ending… I now only feel empty inside. I expected such emotional pain, yet it got me nonetheless.

Story was always good but the experience wasn't always good. At launch there were even a ton of bugs that ruined emotional cutscenes. Now tho the main story at least is polished up. Still more to do in side quests, and the rest of the game. But after the 1.5 update the story is a much more smooth experience than what it was like at launch where you're constantly pulled out the experience by bugs lol

@@nicobenji0248 Actually at the release, the amount of Bugs was mostly depended from the Device, which u used to play - High end Pcs and Series/Ps5 consoles were more stable, than an old gen, so they had less bugs (I used GeForce now to Play and I was lucky enough, because I had maybe 3 bugs during whole game, at least those 3 I remember - Gliching Palms, when I was driving, they were stretching without reason 😅, Car in the Air, after you visit Victor for the first time, a constant bug in almost every session, and in one mission, the script didn't load properly, but thankfully I had a save just before this point, so I just load it and Script worked again). Right now game is definetly more stable and polished, of course there are still some bugs, some functions still need to be improved, but definetly is MUCH better game, even on old Gens (they needed to cut an amount of redenred Npcs and Cars, to make it stable, this city have to many details, especially in City centre to work good , even on good pc, when you are between megabuildings, a game have a problem with fps, because buildings are fully rendered, even with the roofs, that's a quite killer for pcs and consoles, and not necessary aspect in fact, but at least everything looks good, when u use flying mods 😅😅😅)

First thing I did after I finished the show(was cry for 15min tbh) but I started up 2077, found the shotgun and jacket and loaded up my hanako save file just to shoot that smasher right back to hell, Didnt really touch that save file since 1.0 so my damage was so broken I kinda one-shot him straight into FINISH HIM mode.. used the entire mag anyways

@@bushmaster1200 Try cleaning it? My laptop used to be around 64 C on idle, and gaming used to push it to up to 95, making games stuttery mess due to thermal throttling. Cleaned the fan vents, and now it's 53 on idle, and around 80s while gaming, plus no stutters. The difference is huge.

@@Rymeths was supposed to be 4 major DLC's but they're only making 1 now cause they want cyberpunk as far away as possible from them. The game just reminds them of the most botched video game release in history.
Definitely no way it's getting a new season following this story given how the entire main cast (with the exception of Lucy and Falco) dying in the end. Although I could see this continuing as an anthology show, each season being about a famous edgerunner/cyberpunk.

He just got hooked by the upgrades and wanted to get himself stronger to help his team. But yeah the risk outweighs the benefits.

The risks of getting stuffed full of cyberware are surprisingly easily managed if you're smart about it, but the problem is that wouldn't work for a stereotypical cyberpunk tragedy story. Imagine watching an entire episode where he goes to therapy to mitigate the humanity loss from cyberware before the big job and ends up fighting evenly with Smasher.

Coz it is a good animation studio with hits like Brand New Animal and Little Witch Academia were good. Sadly they don't always come up with good stories. Kill La Kill was so nah. Hopefully CD Projekt Red will cooperate with them more. Witcher cartoon would be cool. Cartoon from Netflix though visually pleasing didn't make sense storywise

I may be heartless or something but I don’t really cry over characters dying, I enjoy story aspect

In this case, I don't think most people really cried cause david died. It's more like people cried for lucy cause now she has to live alone. She got what she wanted leaving night city and going to the moon, but her loved one dying meant everything to her and yeah going to the moon without him is no longer meaningful.

I wish there was a way for V to know who David and his crew was. Kinda hurts to drive past their homes knowing V doesn’t know the significance.
That fits the world, though. There are so many stories going on around you at all times in the world, and while they are of critical importance to those involved, to everyone else, they're at most background noise. That's true of both the real world and the sort of dystopia that Night City represents.
You know what I do like about Rebecca? She isn't a censored character. Why wouldn't younger people be involved in a world like this where everything is so accessible to everyone?

You can make first good impression only once. It was over-hyped ment to be as complex as Witcher but it wasn't. Once released it was buggy. Now it is fixed. But still it is not quite what they advertised quests were meant to be more complex and you were to have an option to romance Judy as a man
