Hello ASL Heroes!!! Hey, I could really use your help. If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you. A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com. Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!” www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64QMBRBXQSV6G Thanks! - Dr. Bill p.s. Want to have your very own USB drive with four semesters worth of ASL instruction (that’s the equivalent of two years of colleges classes) for just $79.95? See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at: lifeprint.com/bookstore/bookstore.htm Take care and love to you all. :)
Hi there. What is the sign that Bill does at 6:10? (Index and middle finger in U shape that bends down twice) Is there a source/way online to figure out the word based off the sign instead of the other way around?
The sign I did can mean "mischievous." th-cam.com/video/Z9ZnJ5w17F0/w-d-xo.html As in I was being mischievous by spelling Eleanor a second time after having spelled it a short time previously. That sign has other meanings though. I recommend you visit this page and scroll down to the notes section: www.lifeprint.com/asl101/pages-signs/m/mischievous.htm
:48 was that really Alyssa? I've watched it a few times on .5x speed and keep getting layla.. I cannot see the "s" when you finger spelled alyssa. any tips for that?
Oh my heck! Well, I'll be dipped. I spelled Layla, she typed Alyssa and I didn't check the screen. Gah!!! She just looked so confident typing that I must have figured "Raelyn got that one!" You "m k" are the official winner of the very prestigious "No Prize" award! I have gone to the TH-cam video editor and clipped out the part where I spell Layla. Thanks for asking about it. Over 4K views and you were the first to mention "Layla!" Good job!
