    I stopped drinking beer and wine over 2 Memorial day weekend ago. I was told I had mild cirrosis at that time. I wonder how my liver is now after a year and a half of no drinking. Improved I'm sure. I have been eating less junk, walking on a daily, getting more sunshine, reading, doing puzzles, cleaning, just staying busy , being productive

      @@hni7458How does one improve from mild cirrhosis ? I also have mild cirrhosis and would appreciate any fact based evidence.

    Will my “Liver Enzyme” numbers of my annual blood work indicate damage to my liver?

    • @eldorado5y
      @eldorado5y 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ultimately you'll need a liver scan to see if any damage done , if your ALT and AST blood work is very high I'd recommend getting a liver scan

    • @grit93
      @grit93 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      you can have normal numbers and have liver disease. Sometimes they'll be elevated though so it's not the best indicator

    Can I check the blood report of a cirrhosis patient to detect if he is still taking alcohol? Is it possible? How to know if cirrhosis patient is still talking alcohol?

      Can you not check the ammonia levels? If they’re taking lactulose (to reduce ammonia levels) then the ammonia levels should be coming down or stabilising, but I assume if they’re drinking then it won’t? Only from what I’ve seen on other videos, I’m not a doctor or have any training.
