Terrible for the price! I wish builder's would build a walkway from sidewalk to front door instead of small L shape from drive way. I didn't like walking into kitchen as soon as you enter the home. Only side wall for TV? I would have preferred a long window on each side of back wall fir another option for TV or fireplace. No carpet. Would like to see upper and low hanging rids in closets and bigger walk in closets. For the price should use higher end light fixtures and bathroom/ kitchen fixtures. Kitchen is tiny.
Hi Rhonda, thanks for watching and commenting! We'll have to agree to disagree on this being terrible for the price. We are one of the most competitively priced home builders in the entire dfw area and offer more included features than most builders as well! We do offer other plans though, maybe one of the other plans I have videos on would be more to the style you like. I'll be posting some new videos soon as well!

Why in the second room upstairs there is no natural light? I mean the window was weird compared to others rooms that were fully lightened ?
It may have been the time of day I took the video. I don't remember what time I did it or because I just turned the lights on.

Will they allow you to build one house on 2 lots? The lot sizes run small...
They don't allow you to buy 2 lots and build one house because they estimate the profit for the development off of selling a home on each lot. But we do have oversized lots you can buy and have communities with bigger lots as well!

Hi Montrilla! We do build 2 story plans similar in size and bigger than this home with high ceilings! But, those floor plans are built in some of our other communities in North Forth Worth, Aledo, Mansfield, etc.

Yes! When you build a home with us, that is something you can add at your design center appointment.
hello do you know how much the annual taxes are?
The amount will depend on the value of the home but in this community the tax rate is 2.91%

Hi Steven, first I want to thank you for your service!
We don't have a specific military discount but we do have extra incentives you can get for using our mortgage company and you could also do a VA loan if you qualify on top on that. With the VA loan, you may qualify for a 0% down loan and when using our mortgage company you would also get 2% of the base price of the home, up to 5k max towards your closing costs plus the title policy paid for you as well. I hope that help! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
I forgot to mention but in Texas, if you have any military disability rating, that can also help lower your property taxes on the home. If you have 100% disability then you wouldn't have any property taxes.
Patrick already pointed out the perks on property taxes. Additionally, if you do a VA backed loan, and you have a service connected disability, you do not have to pay a loan fee. Of course you should know that you can purchase a home with no money down. No PMI on the loan is another perk. This $300,000 home, can be very affordable after all the perks from being a veteran. Source...me. I’ve purchased a home, with a service connected disability, using a VA backed loan.
Is it HOA community or no HOA ?
Yes, this community has an HOA. Currently it is $165/year.
Patrick how much 💰would I need for down payment & what are we looking @ monthly payment also How much is property tax?
The down payment will depend on what type of loan you do and how much the total price of the home is. Using an fha loan as an example, you could put down 3.5%. On a 300k home, the down payment of 3.5% would be $10,500. The tax rate is this community is 2.91% so on a 300k home, you would be paying about 8k/year or roughly $665/month.

We don't build pools but we have had home owners that will add a pool after they close on the home!

Hi Mary, thank you for watching and commenting! We don't have a company specific incentive for teachers but we do have preferred lender incentives you can get. By using our mortgage company, you can get 2%, up to $5,000 towards your closing costs! Also, as a teacher, you may qualify for a down payment assistance through the state of Texas that a lot of teachers use called the TSACH program. You can use that program through our mortgage company and get the benefit of both! Hope that helps!

I wanted to know can you get this Raleigh floor plan built in any of the communities in the DFW area that you all have on the website??? or you only can get this floor plan in 1 community???
We have set plans that we will build for each community so you can't build this plan in every community. But we will usually have something fairly similar to this plan in most of the communities if that neighborhood doesn't have the Raleigh.

dr horton seemed to have recycled all their older plans... they built these in richmond/rosenberg 10 years ago

@@powerstore1525 yes we do! They weren't installed yet when I took this video. The appliances that come with the home are your microwave, oven/cook top, dish washer and garbage disposal.
