- A few months ago we met with Conny and his brother Daniel to pick up Conny's brandnew Golf MK7 Clubsport GTI in Wolfsburg at the Autostadt. Two hours later we drove to Damme and the brothers started to give the Clubsport their own look. Insane this car was built before it got 300km. H&R coilovers, MB Design LV1 and a custom wrap match perfect with the special Version of a GTI.

I'm very much a fan of modifying cars (especially VAG cars), but this just seems stupid to me. Not the mods as such, but the car choice.
The Clubsport is relatively limited edition car and these mods are just devaluing it massively. Look at the Edition 30's and 35's - both of which hold their values pretty well, except of course for ones modified to within an inch of their lives.

I just bought a Clubsport 4 days ago with the exact same color! (Carbon Steel Grey with black roof). Delivery here to Sweden in 2 months time. This is BBS Rims right? I will most likely go with the "AEZ Raise High Gloss" or the Dark version of them though. What where your options on this GTI?

Jeder hat seinen eigenen Geschmack was Tuning betrifft. Ich finde er sieht richtig klasse aus, die LV1 finde ich persönlich auch total geil 👌
Gibt es die Carbon Folie für die Frontstoßstange schon fertig zugeschnitten oder habt ihr das aus einem Stück selber gemacht ?
Und wie habt ihr den Diffusor foliert? Ist nachher im Video leider nicht zu erkennen.

+ShoxX danke für deinen Kommentar! Ja, die LV1 ist ne klasse Felge. Die Karbonfolie war nicht fertig zu geschnitten, sie wurde in dem Fall vom Folierer passend zugeschnitten.
Okay danke, aber tolle Idee, finde dass die schwarz glänzenden Elemente bei der Außenfarbe so viel besser zur Geltung kommen! :)
PS: Welches Fahrwerk habt ihr verbaut? H&R Monotube oder das Deep? ;)

Ihr baut die Türen aus damit ihr den Kotflügel runter bauen könnt? Richtig clever :D
In der Montage werden die Türen erst nach der Gummleiste eingesetzt, schneller und einfacher :) +Denny Fritzsche

If you wanted to do those mods , you could have purchase a normal GTI not a clubsport :/ Clubsport is about performance and by those mods you just killed it

the wheels are now too big, its now too low, the tyres are too narrow, the no doubt fake carbon fibre looks awful, at least those modifications appear to be reversible.

No offence, i respected the efforts. But you guys literally ruined the clubsport. Why take the fender and door off for suspension and wheel job? If just wanna a good looking Golf, do that to a GTI, no problem. Clubsport all about the balance and lap time of circuit. Lower too much suspension doesn't have enough stoke, no matter how expensive the coilovers are. And replace Bridgestone S001 to some shitty tyres? for what? I am not sure how expensive those gold wheels are but i am sure the clubsport wheels are petty strong and light.Also they have correct offset when they design the clubsport.
The manufacture engineers are a lot smarter than the 90% car workshop guys.
