I like everything about this lady's videos. She is real. She isn't trying to be a comedian or a food network star. She isn't pretending that every day she has people over for brunch, lunch, dinner, parties, etc. Her voice is nice, not annoying and she looks nice. She cooks in a nice clean kitchen. Her recipes are amazing as well.

Exactly! She's the real-deal, for sure. She's not trying to be anyone she's not for a camera, she's just sharing with us delicious foods she has prepared for herself, her family and friends and wants to show us how she does things in her kitchen. She is my food network.

One of the best ingredients is the love she has for "her Ron". In these upside down times, you feel how much she adores him and why she wants to fix him meals filled with love. She is a treasure.

You are a fantastic cook, Rachel, and your videos are wonderful. You're a natural teacher and born to cook!
Just want to share that after all these years I have finally started making my own vegetable stock! I save all of my veggie scraps and put them into a freezer bag in the freezer every time I cook or make salads. It's amazing how much I used to throw away! When the bag is full, I put them in a pot with water, salt, pepper and a few bay leaves and simmer low for 1 1/2 hours.
    FREE delicious veggie stock!
    Live and Learn!!!
PS... I save all of your videos and will pass them down to my grandgirls!!! ❤️ Thank you, Rachel.
Oh, and what a lucky family you have. 😊

Luv, Luv, Luv watching you cook all of the recipies that I watched my Mom cook as I was growing up. We both have trouble remembering some of the specifics of those old recipies as we did not write them down. We both stopped cooking like we used to due to various health issues and forgot A LOT! I HAVE SEARCHED TH-cam, PINTEREST AND OTHER SOURCES AND UNTIL NOW....I COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING CLOSE TO MOM'S COOKING! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! I CAN ALMOST TASTE THEM THRU THE SCREEN! COOKING IS EXCITING AND SOOTHING FOR THE SOUL. WHAT I ENJOY MOST ABOUT COOKING IS THE REACTION WHEN OTHER PEOPLE TASTE THE FOOD. THAT IS THE BEST REWARD FOR ALL OF THE TIME EFFORT AND LOVE THAT WE INVEST IN THE PROCESS. IN ADDITION, YOUR PERSONALITY, INSTRUCTING STYLE AND EXPLANATIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL! WE CAN TELL THAT YOU ENJOY WHAT YOU DO. **THANK YOU, AND MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AS YOU HAVE BLESSED OTHERS.

A little too much fat, don’t you think? What I love about Rachel is that, first of all she’s very pleasant to watch and she looks very genuine, and secondly she makes traditional recipes that have been made for so many years. They’re generally very good. What I mean is, they’re appealing to my taste. I think people have different tastes for food like in everything else.
For this recipe I will not be using bacon, although bacon makes EVERYTHING taste delicious but I want to compromise on the taste for a healthier version of it.

Rachel, I made these tonight, 9/11/2021, and they were a huge hit! I have made kebobs before. They were so disappointing that it has been years since I have tried to make them again. Your recipe is so flavor packed. The spice rub and marinade really were the key to that flavor explosion. Served my homemade coleslaw on the side and my guests were blown away. Bravo and thank you for this wonderful recipe! Karen from Austin, TX

I’ve cooked many of your dishes (multiple times), I will be cooking this soon. You have taught me so much about how to use spices and the technique in cooking with spices, it’s blown my mind. I’m a 70 year old good southern cook, and I have learned so very much from you. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and these delicious recipes. God bless❤

These are amazing and not that difficult. I used pork, had no onions (thanks to hubby) no adobo. Still very good. I will buy more peppers next time. Thank you! How Rachel rests the kabobs on the sides of the pan was ingenious to me. This is a new favorite🦋🌸🦋

Rachel, your curtains at the window are spotless. I always look at the kitchen window curtains to see if they are clean. Call me strange but clean curtains mean a clean kitchen. Your recipe for chicken kabobs is fantastic. My husband grilled them and they turned out super delicious. Thank you for sharing this recipe with us. I never knew I liked spices so much but since I follow your recipes word for word, I add the spices word for word. I’ll be making these kabobs again soon.

Thank you Rachel for bringing such a wonderful meal once again to our view❣️❣️Oh I love kebabs and I don't think they're too much effort and I read your recipe before I even listened to your video and I was so excited because well it looks like a long list it's really seasoning and that's basically what you said in the very beginning of your video… Seasoning and flavor is so important for your chicken kebabs or your beef kebabs.
If you just throw meat and vegetables on a stick in through a little barbecue sauce on top you don't get real good quality flavored Kabobs. I know because when I was first married and trying to learn how to do this style of cooking, that's what I did not knowing any better. My mother was a farm wife and an excellent cook and Baker but with 12 children and other people at our table, Kabobs were NOT served!!!
Another thing that you pointed out Rachel, that I did not understand initially and I would like to say again to the public, be sure you try to cut your pieces up close to the same size whether it's a vegetable or the meat or in this case the bacon also which yummy ~ nobody's that I know has ever said add bacon to your kebabs. I can't wait to try this recipe for the flavor alone❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ anyway that was another mistake I made was not having my pieces the same and so they cooked and evenly and somethings fell off etc.
Rachel I just love your shell and I have shared your recipes with my sisters and me and I'm so glad to find you You are a real wife and a real kitchen cooking real food that people love and not in front of a TV camera with a fake kitchen behind you. We all love you and I love that you keep adding a little tips for our knowledge while you cook.
I wish you & "Your Lovely Ron", The happiest 2022 new year.
PS: how do you decide which onions to use for what items. I was raised you just buy a white or yellow onion and that's what you cooked with. But for example, when I making stirfry I want either a red onion or a sweet Vidalia onion. Can you give the viewers some tips on this issue because I'm certain you have some thought. Again happy new year to one of my favorite cooks and positive people in the world😊♥️😊♥️😊♥️
