I'm watching in 2024 from US and I have a sister in law who comes from Ikinu. Its a lovely place. Glad my home now is on, Githunguri Kia Wairera, born there and moved to Kagwe so next go to Lari. Love your work.

You think Ikinú is bad, Gathanjí is worse..Huko ata biashara hauwezi sustain..Kuna tumzee huwa huko tubaya sana..And btw Chira didn't grow up in Gathanjí..His grandma lives in Kíangíma (Kíairia)..Buried (Brain Chira) in a village called Gítei..I know you saw a PCEA church named "Geoffrey Gathu Memorial", Chira is buried few meters from there (His grandma's birthplace)..Gathanjí will never grow unless some of those men die (that's a joke we always make) because they make the place somewhat desolate.
