      If a detective has a good rate of solving cases, those ones they can't solve always haunt them till the end of their days. It's why they have excellent recall of the cases.

      @@jeremyheintz1479 this is why it's amazing, to me anyway. That detective remembered where the negatives were kept for a 40 yr old cold case. Not the actual photos (which were lost) but the negatives themselves. I'm not even trying to be funny, I can't remember what I ate for breakfast 3 days ago. So, remembering that kind of detail after 4 full decades is impressive to me, lol

      Only God knows the guys heart and if he truly repented. If he was genuine, then yeah he was forgiven. Maybe not by the family but the family doesn’t have a say in his eternal soul. None of us deserve to be forgiven ever but that is what Jesus did for us, he forgives the unforgivable if we repent. But again, only God truly knows the depth of our hearts. That being said, I do believe the sentence was just. Forgiveness doesn’t always means absence of consequences. That last story with Sharon - I know I wasn’t there at the time of her killer’s trial, and I’m not at all familiar with the state’s laws…but it makes me furious that this pos pretty much got away with the murder, and, as the victim’s sister stated, he wasn’t held accountable for Sharon’s rape! Imo he pretty much got away with murder and rape. I think it’s stupid how they have to follow the laws etc. from 1977!!!! That has got to change! Yet another disappointment brought to us by the lovely American JS! SMH. I’m glad her family was finally able to know who did this to Sharon, but it doesn’t bring Sharon back and it most certainly doesn’t punish that pos for what he did years ago. By releasing sex offenders, 99.999999% of them reoffend and usually go one up to murder, resulting in so many more innocent lives being lost in such senseless and brutally violent ways. These dangerous people should NEVER EVER be let out of prison! They cannot be rehabilitated imo!! RIP Sharon; I’m so sorry you had to suffer at the hands of this monster. May you finally rest peacefully now. ❤️

    • @ChaCha.44
      @ChaCha.44 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@jokin5331 SAME!! I don’t think they can ever be truly rehabilitated, tbh. Even if they did make some positive improvements while in prison, what will happen when they get thrown back into society on their own again? What happens when they move into a neighborhood that’s filled up to the brim with tons of kids?! Smh. I can’t trust anything these ppl tell me, cuz it’s most likely a lie and part of them trying to manipulate! It’s like, “see, I’m not so bad, am I? I did my time and I’ve really actually cń changed into a good person, blah blah blah…” ok, well, that’s all good and all, but if I were to ask a thousand ppl if they’d mind if this sexual predator/murderer moved into THEIR neighborhood, whatcha think they’re gonna say without any hesitation?! So, there’s our answer, and I totally agree with it! Sexual predators are way way up there at being some of the most dangerous and most evil ppl in this world, and at the end of the day, NO ONE (including me, I admit it) wants one of these predators in our neighborhoods (whether if they have kids or not; I don’t have any children but I’m still gonna fight for my neighborhood to be free of any sexual predators)! It’s not always children, though, as all of us know as well. Adult women and men are just as much prey as a child depending on what a certain sexual predator prefers (like Ted Bundy, young attractive women with long brown hair parted in the middle; or Jeffrey Dahmer choosing his victims as all male and only the ones he thought were the best looking in the clubs that night). Anyway, sorry this got so incredibly L O N G but I just get really upset when it comes to sexual predators, especially when children are concerned. If I had the power to do so I would follow the whole “eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth” adage… except mine would be slightly tweaked and by the time it’s over with, these pos sexual predators will be begging anyone to just kill them. Most of them are cowards, wimps…that’s why they love to control weaker victims like children and women. Ugh. Ok I’m shutting up now lol. Everyone please stay safe out there. That’s one nice “benefit” I get outta watching so much true crime…I’ve become much more aware of my surroundings and who is around me; I take note of suspicious vehicles and/or suspects that may be lurking around in the distance. Just being aware of your surroundings at all times and getting some kick a$$ locks for every lock in your home…practice the buddy system…awww, you’ll be ok 👍🏼 Take care everybody!

As a parent, I don’t think I could survive if I lost my daughter at the hands of a monster who would take her life solely for the purpose of his desires. I am incredibly thankful when monsters like these three have been identified and have been publicly named. Actually, the Bible makes it abundantly clear that when we confess our sins, not only does God forgive us, be he forgets our sins and remembers them no more. This is, of course, provided that the person's repentance was sincere. Read the Bible and learn about the murderers that God used to further his Kingdom. Please don't try to do God's job for him.

      If there is a God who forgives.... Well, personally, I'd prefer a god that doesn't allow these atrocities to occur in the first place. Maybe they should be praying harder to stop the tragedies in the first place. But "God's will...."

    I hate when people want someone to get the death penalty and or supports the death penalty, bcuz being charged with LIFE WITH OUT PAROLE is way worse than the death penalty… the death penalty is the easy way out. It’s way more miserable for someone to serve life in prison until he dies. Instead of being on death row. I know if I was a serial killer I’d rather be on death row and get the easy way out, than to suffer life in prison with out parole💯💯!

    Killers should never have the luxury of living. Never. And definitely not a life where they are housed, fed, and given benefits like cable, free medical & dental care, and a free college degree. Are you kidding me?
    Most law abiding citizens don’t even have the opportunity to afford college or have to work very hard just to afford a couple of the benefits killers are unjustly provided. What the heck are the deterrents to committing crimes, if one is allowed to stay in a hotel for breaking the law? For killing?!
    It is appalling that our laws continue to cajole, coddle, support and negotiate with killers. Then to add another slap in the face to the victims of heinous crimes, legal systems all over the world bend over backwards to support the “rights” of society’s killers?! WHY?
    The legal systems overt concern for killers is a disgrace and insult to murdered victim’s and their families!!

I understand they were lenient before , but now the tools law enforcement have are much better at finding the truth & DNA

    The Purcell Case: I think the two relatives of the murdered couple making those horrible comments about Purcell are worse than he is. Purcell apparently was remorseful enough to admit he committed the murders to the authorities, even sell his house and home, to compensate the family to some small measure what he had taken away from them since he felt this was the least he could do. How many people do that? Jesus said that if you do not forgive others their sins (and they can be pretty bad ones), God will not forgive yours. He was speaking of people who expressed and demonstrated genuine repentance, and I think Purcell did just that. Purcell didn't expect to get off scot- free just because he turned over a new leaf, either. Remember that the apostle Paul himself was a self-confessed murderer, but Jesus forgave and used him in the Christian ministry. If Jesus can be that forgiving, why can't those two?

    All that guy was horrible, they all have committed a crime which can never be forgiven, they took someone's life for their living best, they took someone life just to fulfill their sexual fantasy, they never think like if someone has done same thing to their daughter, mother, would it be forgivable ?. Can forgiveness change the fact that you actually murder ed someone who has nothing to do with you, can forgiveness bring back the person whom you killed ? If no, then forgiveness is no pointless.
    Death = death
    Death = confess×
    Death = life imprisonment ×
    If you have killed, someone in your self defence still you are punishable for that crime after all you have wiped out that guy from the earth so thatswhy you should be given 5 year of life in jail.
    But if you have committed crime purposely then their should be punishment for that crime first and latter death sentence must be given.
