The shop guy said, we can fix it very good, and I will Put my top guy on it. We can get the rim repair by the end of the day with our best guy, but it will cost you more. Great insight and congrats on your success in the field. What do you think of the exotic rental market now? If you had to do it all over again, how would you start?
So how do you make money ? You need to buy the cars, the staff, maintenance on the cars, you need to pay yourself a salary, rent for storage, advertising, insurance etc … 10k a weekend(Which is when you’ll make the most) for 3 cars worth together over 1 million … that’s nothing … Seem like it’s actually a pretty tight business with low potential.
I can see cameras being standard for the entire 360 degrees, not just a backup camera. When driving a new vehicle everyone has had the learning curve of getting used to the turning radius and how to best cut the corner so you're not curbing 60,000 worth of wheels. If not a 360 camera, i can definitely see it starting witha built in dash cam setup but then having the ability to utilize curb cameras when parking
The variety of content you put out is crazy this video was great it was awesome to see the perspective of a car rental company and what goes on. See you next Tuesday 6pm 👍🏻
Rental companies bank on the rented car being returned with damage. This is where the rental company make the real money. Not from payment for the rent. As a customer, the moment the car gets damaged, be prepared to lose a foot and an arm paying up, even if you have taken insurance! It will destroy the rest of your year..... or 3 !
How is renting a Urus for 60k more financially logical, than putting that 60k as a down payment, then the rest on finance for your own Urus? Cracking vid as always, Mark! Every one is as entertaining as the last, if not more so!

I don’t get it u said you’ve heard this story but then another video u said it was your car and did a full video on the Lamborghini that was taken away ?
Nearly £10k profit in a weekend on £660k worth of cars. It that good business? You would have to consistently hire out for 70 weekends to get your money back. So I guess its ok as all your debts/finances will be clear in a year and a half but it seems extremely high risk if the vehicles are abused.
Imagine renting a car that can do 0-60 in less than 3 seconds, qtr mile in 10, and over 200 mph, and you expect and punish people for driving like Miss Daisy is in the car. Hilarious

I would like the ability to put that sort of tracker on my car where I can check the location speed and most importantly disable the car. Where can I get such an item and who much does it cost?
I cant believe someone is renting an Urus for 6 months! I guess it could be someone on short term contract in UK, but, the thought of £60k dead money just seems crazy... for 60-65k you can BUY a Range SVR 2019, M3 2021, X5 M50i 2022, GT-R i mean i know they arent in Urus league as such but at least youd get a investment return

Great video Mark that did look stressful job how dose he sleep at night lol. I know when it pays its all good. But definitely a learning curve on the car that got stolen. Thay was a very expensive game of Kirby
If I’m paying to rent it I’m driving it hard, granted any damage caused I’m liable for but at the end of the day it’s my license if I’m doing the limit or strangling it’s balls off and you shouldn’t have any right to “cut me off” if I’m paying you for the privilege of the driving experience!
@@MarkMcCann64 totally get that but if the owner has gone in with the mindset that people are going to rent these exotics and Sunday drive them well that’s a bit of a silly thought. It was on the motorway aswell, yeah if it was residential streets that’s stupidity. How does that remotely cutting them off work anyway, does it put a limp mode on or something?
How did they destroy 4 wheels in one day? The fuck you rent that out to? Ricky Bobby? Or a man with even more first names? Some people shouldn't ever be allowed to drive a car.
How much did the wheel repair cost? How much was the deposit for the Urus; it remaid at the rental for the damage, right? Also how much was the deposit for the 6 months rental? Thank you!
Some lad (assumptions may kill me there) is renting an Urus for 6 months at 60k. You gotta question the economics on that. Not even in the current car climate are Urus' losing 120k a year. Definitely something questionable there.
Agreed. But some people renting cars don’t want to buy a car. For many reasons, good and bad ones. Mathematically, myself and you would buy one, the stories of some of these hires are crazy. People hiring cars for months and not even using them
I’m in a Calgary Alberta and they have a company called Endorphin Dream Garage. Essentially it’s fractional ownership of supercars. A lot more cost efficient, no maintenance to worry about
I’ve been to Alberta, it’s bloody freezing! We has skidoos and went searching for Bears. I was young and very stupid, a guy later told me then can run as fast as my skidoo, so I would probably of died 😂
So where do you buy a car for £0 as in the title? £9700 in one weekend? take out wages, rental on the unit, insurance costs, wheel refurbs, tyres, cleaning before next rental. How much did you actually make.
It is mathematics, they make good money and eventually the car owes you £0. They charge more than £2200 a day, so we simplified it after costs to profit £2200. To make a video like this we could of course added more complicated factors to be exactly accurate, but this is TH-cam, so we make videos which are as entertaining and easy to make sense of.
You can see trackers to notify you if they go out within a certain range or go near the airport I don’t get that how do you have such a high value asset but you don’t have security in place.
Can someone explain how Lord Aleem does it? It takes 182 days for the SVJ to repay itself. Aleem looks like he's living his best life and money flows like water and almost all his cars are supercars. How does Aleem run a profitable rental business?
Genuine question.. If someone was going to rent a Urus for say 60k for 6 months, why wouldn't they just buy one? I'm not any good with finance at all, so my numbers are probably terrible.. That person could put a 30k deposit down on one, pay £2000 a month (roughly), which has cost them 24k. Lets say personal insurance and tax costs 3k a year that takes the total for 57k FOR A YEAR. I may be being a complete idiot here, but can people see my logic?
the customer doesn't want the tie from what i was told. She also changes all the car she rents from them all the time, So she drives lots of different cars,
So was the wheel repair a freebie, or was the cost (maybe £1400) factored into the profits taken? and what are the insurance coast associated with the setup, Give it effectively seems to be 3rd party only cover??
If you can spend 60k for 6 months, you can just buy the car on financing for 2 years. And that is the real reason these companies exist: they attract illegal money. People who can't get proper financing and even if they can buy the car outright, they cannot explain to police how they were able to afford it. In comes the rental, something everyone can pay for once in a while. Good business for the owner, but you are always dealing with people who might not be so nice when something goes wrong.
I appreciate that! And it’s me who replies, Rhys has enough to do. it’s 5:53am Jayne is asleep next to me and Senna will be up in about 30 minutes. Then a mad rush to get to work.

Great video Mark that did look stressful job how dose he sleep at night lol. I know when it pays its all good. But definitely a learning curve on the car that got stolen. Thay was a very expensive game of Kirby
What kind of ridiculous thing is it that a company like this cannot insure themselves against these risks
These cars are amazing..thanks for sharing this video. I enjoy it.
Imagine just receiving a new SVJ and on its first rental, it’s smashed to pieces. Scary scary game to be in
Good video! Although I don’t see the point of renting a car for 2.2k to stick to the speed limit
But when the rentee crash at 200mph because it’s increased risk, who’s paying for the car. That’s the problem, is keeping the risk as low as possible
Law is Law at the end of the day.. maybe rent out a runway at the same day.
That worry on the face😂😂
Mark's videos are getting better and better!
Thank you. We are all putting a lot of effort in
How much did the wheel repair cost?
How much was the deposit for the Urus; it remaid at the rental for the damage, right?
Also how much was the deposit for the 6 months rental?
Thank you!
I’ve done this a few times with my Mustang. It’s extremely stressful…I’ll stick with Airbnb.
Mark McCann for president
I’d be useless, although I’d make petrol cheap and reward people who can handbrake turn 🙌🏼
People hiring cars for months and not even using them
Brilliant Mark, entertaining ,informative content................
They rented the urus for a day to a woman, came back with 4 scratched wheels. The stereotypes write themselves 😂😂
Fantastic Video 👍👍Really interesting watch ❤️❤️
Loving the vids mate! Keep it up.
How curbed wheels will prevent them from renting it out?
i have no idea how you dont have millions of subscribers quality of your videos are mad good
Especially when you realize Turdman is at like 8 million
Because he’s not woke enough
She also changes all the car she rents from them all the time, So she drives lots of different cars,
@@MarkMcCann64 can’t argue with that then mate fair enough!
i wouldn't and couldn't do that, if you can afford to buy that car you shouldn't have to rent it for others to mess up.
"This is the game we're in" 😂😂 fully embracing the role mate. Its a mad game that you gotta have big cohones eh
We were all weekend, I didn’t sleep well, stressing about SVJ man, We didn’t do the best handover 🤦🏼♂️
So was the wheel repair a freebie, or was the cost (maybe £1400) factored into the profits taken? and what are the insurance coast associated with the setup, Give it effectively seems to be 3rd party only cover??
Wheel repair was extra customers cost (damage) insurance cost factored in. Thanks for watching Andy
My favourite now, would love to see you rip a glanza about that back garden
When I rent a supercar I don't feel like I get my money's worth unless I drift it into a tree. These super car rental places are all scammers anyways.
There’s a TH-camr called Hagerty Mark he has just filmed one of the 3 Ken block rally cars in Ireland. Worth a look
Meanwhile some hot girl on of making 1k + a day doing nothing but showing off for 0 risk
This page is going to blow up big time ❤
We will keep working hard Sam, and people like you are helping so much
Only reason Tuesday is any good, see you next Tuesday Mark 👍 keep up the good work
Thanks 👍 Tuesday does seem a long way to the weekend
If you can spend 60k for 6 months, you can just buy the car on financing for 2 years. And that is the real reason these companies exist: they attract illegal money. People who can't get proper financing and even if they can buy the car outright, they cannot explain to police how they were able to afford it. In comes the rental, something everyone can pay for once in a while. Good business for the owner, but you are always dealing with people who might not be so nice when something goes wrong.
I think most of their customers are just "vacation" customers that expense the whole thing to the corporations they are associated with
What tracker do you use Mark?
That would be one stressful business.
Oi oi love the content mate and the going down as fast as Jane absolutely killed me 😂
I got told of for that comment 😂
@@MarkMcCann64fire ya editor innit
Ok but that huracan spyder story is crazyy
Interesting! See you next week Mark🤘🏻
See you next week
12:29 Eating McDonald's in a Rolls-Royce Cullinan like a BOSS. 🏁🏁
A hurracan spider rentle is £5k deposit, & £1600 a day, limited to 75miles (+£3 every mile over).
Would recommend renting if you're looking at buying.
Just made a purchase on your shop for a cap grey/yellow. Love the content Mark keep it coming.
Awesome, thank you Mark
I don't understand how people constantly kerb wheels... I've kerbed one wheel over my entire 16 years of driving. HOW do you kerb wheels constantly??
Loving the variation Mark!! Another great video
Glad you like them Reiss
why isn't your pre- and post- rental inspection under blacklight, infrared, etc. ?
I would take the STO. and will bring it back with tires that look like drag slicks. good yes ?
And i will no go faster then 40mp/h on the parking lot.
😂😂 as long as you don’t jump it
What's the point of insurance if you can't claim it in fear of future policy refusal? Isn't it redundant then, might as well not have it.
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!! Another great bit of content Mark. Keep it coming!(that's what she said.😅😂)
😂 love it Sheila, thanks for the support
The car that went to Thailand clearly wasn't trackered that well
If Mark sees this then love the vids and I comment on every video saying it as well. Great way to break up the content with this one
I appreciate that! And it’s me who replies, Rhys has enough to do. it’s 5:53am Jayne is asleep next to me and Senna will be up in about 30 minutes. Then a mad rush to get to work.
Mark keep going, you’re on top mate🎉
Thanks 👍
