First rode Alaska in 89, wanted to rent a bike but the shop hadn’t ever had such a request before, so the owner loaned me his bike. Explored some old snowmobile and Jeep roads.
I rode Lost Lake in Seward, around 5 years ago. Didn't quite make it to the very top! I rented a hardtail from a local shop. Alaska is a different game! There didn't seem to be trail maintenance as we do here in 'spoiled' NorCal - what you see, is what you get! It was a bit challenging to ride but fun!! I was also paranoid about the bears. I remember I bought a "Bear bell" to put on my bike - more like a dinner bell!...LOL.
I seriously never thought you’d make it here! Thanks for bringing some attention to the folks responsible for our killer trails. Good job keeping up with Energizer Bunny.
One of the sickest trails I’ve seen a while and Lee rode it like a wild leaping wizard! So fun! Brian this made my day. Several of my Cali trails and my favorite trail burnt to the ground. This helped ease some pain. Thanks
Alaska Air let's Alaskan residents travel with their bikes for free. Just flew to the lower 48 and back with my kids and 3 bikes. All free! Thank you AK Air!!!
Brian, morning from Bangkok. Been following your 50 State Shred during my flying rotation. They have been truly enjoyable and appreciate the persona and your postive / jovial personality. Keep shredding brother. Blue skies, Jg
So stoked to see you ride Kincaid! When I got stationed at JBER there in Anchorage between 2013-2016, this is the park that got me back into mtb. Absolutely the best trails I've ever ridden yet. STA is also the best group of enthusiasts I ever got the pleasure of being a part of. Northwest Passage was always my fav, such a thrill to blast down while looking off to the right at the Turnagain Arm. Great job bro
Did you ever ride the full Powerline Pass experience? We used to start in Spenard, ride all the way up over the pass and down the backside to Indian, and then back into town on the highway. It was a good 55 miles ride that took most of the day. I miss riding in AK. Unfortunately I developed health issues in just my 5th year of racing and had to eventually give it up. Most fun I ever had.
Thank you soooo much for this video, it means so much to me to have you riding my local trails!!! P.S: I’ve seen Lee around and he is one hell of a shredder!!!
LEE IS A RIPPER!!! Wow. I was having a blast watching him boost everything. He's definitely living up to his equation of 110% style, while keeping the speed under control. Those trails looked so weird, being that wide, and barely any rock. I cannot relate to that at all here in Arkansas!!
Hi Brian, have skipped a lot of your trips this year, however, it is so good to see you riding and haven fun. Great trails, great fun riding and watching! Stay safe!😁
That is awesome the work they did to build those trails. I am happy to support him with buying a copy of his book, how can I not with the awesome name he has!
This Trail looks @mazing B ! Wish your brakes had been better because I don't think you got to ride it the way would've normally. Never the less I really enjoyed seeing this. Thanks for taking us to Alaska !!!
LOL I flew into Salt Lake a couple weeks ago and some guy I don't know also left his wheel on his bike bag and it too was still attached! I was shocked!
Ohh the memories! Kincaid was a favorite along with the Hill Top area. That big leafy plant however is not "cow parsnip". It's called "devils club" , and for a good reason as you found out by grabbing it. The whole plant is covered in thorns and just generally sucks! Especially if it's encroaching on you trail. It's everywhere in south central Alaska. So don't crash into it. There is a lot of cow parsnip up there too, it looks more flowery, but that's not it. Anyway, fun video though. Glad you made it to my home state!
Brian, I am jealous, how cool is it being able to go to Alaska on a bike tour of beautiful trails. Damm those were some pretty perfect trails. A little wide, but in such nice shape, some pretty nice jumps. Ya don't want to hear, my brakes aren't working. Stay safe but have fun. Nova Scotia, Canada {highest tides in the world in the Bay of Fundy} The trails I ride most every day.
Glad you made it to Alaska. Kinkade park is a freaking blast. Same with Girdwood. Unfortunately up here in Fairbanks we don't have anything that exciting.
Never thought you'd make it to Alaska in time, great job! Not your favorite style trails though, the groomed "flow" trails. They did a nice job though...looks like biking on rails.
Great video bro I’ve been a bit quiet Isold my Nomad but I’m looking to buy another Revel Rail great trials thanks for keeping it going dude are you still watching you enjoy the videos and enjoying life despite all the lockdown stuff see you on the trail 🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🙏🏼🙏🏼👍🏽
I really hope when you hit Oregon you plan on coming to Black Rock in Falls City just outside of Salem !!! You would love !!!! Hope to see you up there!!! 🤙
"I love mountain biking because you can be a kid as a full grown man, and no one thinks you're weird." That sums it up nicely.
Amen!
That was total Punch 🤛 👌🏾
Yes it so true bro
Well, maybe because it's fucking dangerous, and no matter which way you cut it, it gives you more man points. Lmao
Two types of people: Those who love flow trails, and dirty liars
Hi Seth! hope you get well soon:)
Damn Straight
I bet it’s eating Seth alive to see a flow trail so damn smooth and fun like this one while he’s sitting on his couch eating a box of Cheerios! Lol
Get better soon Seth!!
yeah nah mate...... Flow trails fun for one or two runs then......boring
Damn, that guy in front knows his trails.
He built them
lol does tend to happen if they are your local trails that you ride all the time, and more so if you built them
I just love his level of stokeness!
First rode Alaska in 89, wanted to rent a bike but the shop hadn’t ever had such a request before, so the owner loaned me his bike. Explored some old snowmobile and Jeep roads.
Sounds great man!
Always wanted to go exploring, such a pleasure.🤙🏻

I think we finally found someone who makes more sounds than brian?
He can ride a bike a bit to!
@@NickWainwright6970 looks like he might be a better rider than Brian also lol
🤣
He actually was just trying to be a "fun guy" for the camera.
I seriously never thought you’d make it here! Thanks for bringing some attention to the folks responsible for our killer trails. Good job keeping up with Energizer Bunny.
Brian, my friend. This was indeed one of the most beautiful trail.👌 Can't wait for more trails from Alaska 😃
So my dream is to ride MTB like Lee. That dude knows how to party on the trail. 111% style🤙🏼
Thanks Brandon!
One of the sickest trails I’ve seen a while and Lee rode it like a wild leaping wizard! So fun! Brian this made my day. Several of my Cali trails and my favorite trail burnt to the ground. This helped ease some pain. Thanks
Stoked for you Brian to make it to Alaska! Dang Lee is fun to watch ride! Trails look stellar nice job to the trail crews.
They made some great trails there. In the early summer, you can ride 24 hours without lights.
Alaska Air let's Alaskan residents travel with their bikes for free. Just flew to the lower 48 and back with my kids and 3 bikes. All free! Thank you AK Air!!!
I wanna see a supercut of you saying “woo” throughout the entire trip 🤣
I always like it when the chef enjoys what they cooked.
When your brakes don't work.... That's never a sentence you wanna hear lol. Love ya work mate!!
Heyyy it's my bois deadest Trails!!! Lezz go boiiiizz!!!
@@noahboa97 ma man!!
@@noahboa97 and xlxnxnxn
One of the best videos so far I think!
Those were some sweet flow trails! Props to the builders.
Wow, now that's flow. Not one root, no boulders, no chunk just smooth packed dirt. Amazing 👌
I love it! Who would have thought there was this much flow in Alaska! It's like a rollercoaster for mountain bikes!
Those trails look phenomenal. Def one of the best vids you have done. Would love to see you follow Kyle Warner on those trails.....LAUNCH!!!!!
Great to see you traveling through all of this. Ride on !
Great video! What an incredible trail system, Lee as to be one of the most fun rider to watched, full of fun!!
That was such a beautiful trail. I love the sight of yellow leaves being dispersed everywhere.
Brian, morning from Bangkok. Been following your 50 State Shred during my flying rotation. They have been truly enjoyable and appreciate the persona and your postive / jovial personality. Keep shredding brother. Blue skies, Jg
What a great dude Lee is!! Awesome ride looks like sooo much fun!
I have Been waiting for this one

Alaska baby!! Pure wilderness! Thanks for the adventure!
Thank you soooo much for this video, it means so much to me to have you riding my local trails!!! P.S: I’ve seen Lee around and he is one hell of a shredder!!!
Way better trails than I expected to see. Alaska probably has the shortest MTB season, but the most land to build epic trails.
We ride year round. Trails get packed out really fast and many only exist in the winter.
Winter riding is so much better and doesn't cut into my hiking days 😁 No bears or mosquitos is an added bonus to Winter riding. Fat tire Heaven!
Long days in summer. It’s light out past midnight.
Hell yes! This was fun to watch. Your buddy Lee and I both shred the same bike! So fun to see it in one of your vids. Shred on brother 🤙🏻
That bike RIPS!
Willbros! Come on up to AK and I'll give the tour. 111% style is the goal! -Lee
Really cool trail! When I was racing at Kincaid in the Tuesday evening series, we didn’t have those purpose built MTB trails. I’m jealous!
Wow! I honestly didn’t expect those trails to look so good!
We’re super lucky to have them
same
Lee definitely fulfills the 111% style motto
Looks like some serious flow was engineered into those trails. Great video.
I love those trails. Thanks for building them.
Hi Brian, have skipped a lot of your trips this year, however, it is so good to see you riding and haven fun. Great trails, great fun riding and watching! Stay safe!😁
Wow! What an awesome trail! I had no idea that Alaska would be that nice!
I was most excited for this one and Hawaii!
You made it to Alaska! I`ve been hoping for this! Cheers dude
As an Aussie, it's not how I pictured Alaska! Awesome flow trail!
I visited Alaska 20 years ago and it is a beautiful place I highly recommend going to visit
Those looked like great guys to ride with. Awesome trails Alaska! I'm blown away that it's still that green in November in Alaska.
So cool to see Brian on my hometown trails!
That is awesome the work they did to build those trails. I am happy to support him with buying a copy of his book, how can I not with the awesome name he has!
Fellow Lee, you will love that book. Thanks for buying it! -Lee
I took living along the world's highest tides for granted until I heard someone say they live on the second highest. Great Video, beautiful spot!
Damn! One of my favorite parts of these videos are when you put the magnet on the map.
Lee sounds like epic dude 🤙🏽
sure does
Lee sounds like he gets dank Alaska nugs on the reg
Sweet riding 🤘🏻 awesome freaking trails.. rock on Brian!! Couple more states left 🙌🏻.. we’ve really enjoyed this series 🤩

You make my day again, 2 video a week !!!. Well i wish 7 video a week. Keep up the good job and Like we said in Québec salut !!!! 👍
I can feel the trails. Amazing!
That right there might be the greatest Mountain Biking quote of all time. 😂
This looks like a mountain biker’s dream.
I hope to make it there one day!
This is best looking trail in the 50 State Shred in my opinion!
This Trail looks
@mazing B ! Wish your brakes had been better because I don't think you got to ride it the way would've normally. Never the less I really enjoyed seeing this. Thanks for taking us to Alaska !!!
Great video. I would have had no idea what the Alaskan trails looked like. Great landscape & scenery.
I'm in love with these bikes...
Awesome to finally see you in my home state!!
Bro, you made it to Alaska! This is like a Nate Hills episode with a super sender in front of you.
LOL I flew into Salt Lake a couple weeks ago and some guy I don't know also left his wheel on his bike bag and it too was still attached! I was shocked!
So cool you were able to check that one off the list.
Those trails look like tons of flowy fun!
Alaska is one of my dream trips. Glad you were able to get up there!
Cracking stuff! What an incredible biking adventure to share with the world :)

Cow parsnip is NASTY! People always wonder why Alaskans ride in full tights and long sleeves in the heat and it’s because of the cow parsnip.
Wow! Some of the sickest trails! Need to go to Alaska to ride!🤙

Ester Dome is pretty rad
You made it!! Awesome, love it!
That's cool, when I went to Alaska I road in Talkeetna.
Tall skeeters.
The jump on 4:15 is my absolute favorite at Kincaid! It feels like a dream to hit
Are you local? That trail system looked amazing.
@@skullsroad3642 yep! Kincaid has something for everyone
