Hi! I just have a question because you have immense knowledge on the brand. How are 2024 X5s on the market? Would it be difficult to get it below MSRP if I reach out to multiple dealerships? Thank you for your videos, they have been very helpful.
The demand for the 24 X5's is probably the highest demanding BMW at the moment, since it just got a brand new mid cycle refresh. I highly doubt you would get it below MSRP. Your best bet is to shop around toward the end of the months and get multiple quotes from different dealers. DEC, is the most aggressive months where you may potentially get a good deal.
I'm considering getting a 2024 BMW i4 xDrive40. BMW has partnered with Electrify America which as far as I know is currently ccs based and the charging network in the North East is extreme sparse. Telsa seems to have succeeded in making the NACS the charging standard, and Electrify America has indicated they will either be offering NACS or converting to NACS in 2025. If I had to rely on E.A. I wouldn't buy a BMW. I have seen anything from BMW, and my local dealer doesn't know, or at least they're not telling me if BMW, is converting to NACS. The range estimates for the the i4 xdrive40 tops out at 307 miles. The 307 seems to be only attainable with one specific set of wheels Without the wheels, range estimates drop by 20+ miles lowering the range to 287. Charging to 80% charge seems like it would then lower the range to about 229 miles, and then there's winter to contend with, which would seemingly drop the range even more. Can you comment on the range or perhaps di tiy have info that suggests that BMW may be offering NACS seeing they're partnered with EA which is adopting NACS. Thanks!
No word yet on adopting NACS. But either way, I would only consider going full EV if you travel low miles, drive at city speeds, and live closer to where many chargers are. If you don't really meet those requirements it may be too soon to invest in a EV vehicle and a PHEV would be a better fit for the time being.
@@BeamerView Tesla chargers seem to be wherever I need to go & 300 miles range is good enough for me. Teslas awd Teslas with "330 mile range" can be purchased for about 47k when you add in delivery charges etc. I don't have range anxiety with regards to Teslas, I have "repair anxiety"
@@Reaper007_CODM I have a M340i and love it's steering wheel. I've never before seen the one from the vehicle in the video. It looks like the left "arm" is longer than the right "arm" and the shape is hideous. But thats just my personal opionion on it
BMW iX steering wheel! It's different from the rest. Looks weird, I personally didn't mind it much when I was driving it though. Camera angle might make it seemed even more weird as well.
Took delivery of my BMW iX1 EV last week (I live in Bavaria), the change from my 1999 VW Golf (Rabbit in USA?) was much easier than I thought thanks to watching all your videos over 3 months wait. So great big thanks for all your Tips & Tricks. 🍻🥨

Not sure if I've responded to this already. But it could be that the vehicle had AUTO H engaged. I would check to see if that was the issue?

I picked up my 2023 X4 2 months ago and it says the next service is a year from now. Is it really ok to not have an oil change for this long?
12 months is fine. I would not go past that.

Is it possible to adjust the climate control with the rotary controller? Because the Touch screen can be dangerous at high speed
I use voice for all climate things. Works great and very safe while driving
