Love, Jennifer
the Daily Connoisseur - Hey Jennifer / TDC community - I love this blog but wonder, do you know anyone in the UK that has a similar approach to life and blogging? For example there are clothes I love but some of the US companies won’t ship here, or I like a natural home suggestion but the company is US based and shipping the product this far across the world defeats the enviromental object somewhat! 🙂 there are an overwhelming number of great UK bloggers but I’ve not found one quite like TDC - perhaps, of course, you are completely unique! Thanks x
The cutting edge of fashion is just temporary and frankly I think most of it is immodest and impractical. I love dresses! And I really like your “uniform” dresses.
Kudos to you for choosing clothing based on its being presentable (and therefore respectful to others), utilitarian, comfortable, and pleasing to your eye so that you can happily go about your day without being self-absorbed. I like wearing my 'uniform' of Lands' End dresses which are fibromyalgia-friendly ~ no buttons, no zippers, no snaps, no tightness, no sloppiness, just soft fabric in cheerful colors. Another terrific video.
Considering that you offer content here for free.... you have ZERO reason to have to apologize for how/when you put out a new video!! I enjoy your videos and you just recording whenever you can even if you do t have time to make them super professional ... just makes you more relatable!
*I don’t t believe in twisting yourself into knots of excuses and explanations trying to be perfect. The positive side you were able to share what you have and show us you are a real mom with four lovely children who always looks tres chic. And the best accessory are those four lovely Angels you have. Be well *Julia Childs
Never apologize for who you are. Naysayers are probably just jealous. I love the dresses and the tops. I watch Nikki Morena as well. Both of you are so elegant and graceful. Thanks for sharing. That little one is precious!
Thank for taking the time to make this fun video. It's too bad there are people who have nothing better to do than criticize your budget or style of choice. You are keeping it real while staying out of debt. I dont understnd how some women on TH-cam can do weekly and monthly clothing hauls and spend hundreds of dollars. Its so not chic or wise. However, you my friend are chic and wise all while raising beautiful healthy children in a paid for house! BOOYAAH!!! 🤣
I found a dress I loved - 3 - no apologies. Most people don't see me everyday so they don't know. In fact, my daughter saw two of them on the clothesline at the same time and that was the first time she realised I had two the same (although one black, one navy). I've had them for 3 summers - and it took her that long to realise! I think that is so funny!
Hi Jennifer I can,t believe I have been following you for over 5 yrs I remember your blue dress. I love all your blogs and can not believe how some people can be so nasty towards you I think you are a wonderful person so passionate about what you do giving great advice and making time in your busy day while raising 4 children something to be very proud of please don,t let some peoples negativity get to you remember you have so many people who think more and better of you, You have done amazing keep up the good work it's all worth it and I enjoy watching your lovely family growing up. Good luck Evelyn xx
Dear Jennifer I have been following you for quite a few years now and, like many of your viewers, I love the 10 item wardrobe videos a lot. I can’t believe how much I smiled when I saw some of the old favourites e.g APC dress, Boden dress. Like meeting up with old friends. 😁 As for those who criticise you, I applaud how you acknowledge their behaviour and deal with it in a gracious and unapologetic manner. Well done you!
I love those dresses, don’ t worry about what people say, you are very feminine and pretty.. I am definitely going to look into looking at llbean for their dresses. I am a little chunky and live in capris and sandals that I bought from llbean.. You look great for having four children, and your baby is adorable, so cute. I have two adult children, who I am very proud of and love very much, but I do not miss those young years.ha. but they do pass, and you do get the peaceful feeling again, in your life. This is my first time on your channel and I thought it was very nice. As far as enjoying nature I find it so relaxing to just sit and watch nature. Discovered that contentment in nature a long time ago, but I am a senior and enjoy my home and beautiful lot all the time. Have no desire to keep up with the the life outside my little paradise. You might find helpful for your stress, a book my daughter loved reading called into the magic shop by Dr.James Doty, It is a story of his life and how he overcame his own stress, coming from a very dysfunctional family, from a woman in the magic shop who taught him how. Let me know if you like it, I think you will enjoy listening to the book as I did. I had a few things I didn’t agree with him on, but all and all it was a good book. Keep on doing a good job and disregard others who criticize you, they are probably very unhappy in their own life and it makes them feel important putting you down.
You are the reason that I purchased seven dresses 2 summers ago and made them my uniform. I agree that each must dress according to their own lifestyle. I was so encouraged by your videos 2 years ago on dressing elegantly and the change I made from frumpy house clothes to those dresses changed my thinking. They are very cool in the summer heat and really made a difference for me. I have changed from all dresses to yoga outfits this year because I am in-home 98% of my time. They help me move more often than if I were in a dress...But I went from no dresses to several that I can toss on to go out. Thank you for sharing.
We do not share then same style or lifestyle but I appreciate the concept and your commitment to the capsule wardrobe. I have been watching you for about 2 years. No one should ever apologize for doing what they love and what they want to do with their life. Fashionistas watch your channel because they want to simplify their wardrobe. I live vicariously through you!! 🙂
I don’t quite have a 10 item wardrobe but I’m working toward it. Season changes are probably the hardest part for me. Just last week it was in the 70s (unseasonably warm) so I had to pull out a short sleeve top that I had packed up with my summer stuff. The next day it was 40 and the day after that it was single digits! Our weather is all over the place when the seasons are changing and I have to give myself grace that my wardrobe is at its fullest during those times. I would love to pack all the warm clothing up as spring comes and but I often find myself unpacking things as we get a cold day here and there. I’m also nursing again this year and have really embraced wearing the same 3-4 outfits for each season and not feeling bad that because I’m wearing the items so much they are being tossed out. I’ve not been able to keep many items for next year because of holes/stains or just looking too shabby after so much wear.
Aww Jennifer I decided to do the ten item wardrobe so I’ve been going through your playlists and I realized that this video is where I’m at in life right now, still nursing my fourth (a boy too!) and itching to find things that I want to wear but nursing friendly. It’s so refreshing because you are currently is where I want to be now but this video was a nice reminder that everything has their season! ❤
Jennifer, I just want to say I love the videos you upload but I also understand you are taking care of yourself, your marriage, your 4 children, your career, your home and other things we aren’t privy to. You are doing so well (from my outsider POV) and looking radiant while doing it. Post when you can. We’ll be here. :)
I loved this!!! Definitely during the fall and winter, I have almost a uniform type style: turtleneck sweaters with jeans and/or skirts or over dresses. And I love it! It’s comfy, stylish, and I don’t really care what people think of me wearing the same type of thing all the time. Haha I absolutely LOVE your style Jennifer!!!!
Please dear Jennifer, don't feel stressed with the videos. These are secondary compared to taking care of your little ones (I am a mother too, so I know what it's like😉). Sending lots of love and hugs from snowy Canada ❄💖.
You are in very good company with your "uniform", Steve Jobs comes to mind. People who care about how they look but don't have the time to curate an outfit everyday rely on certain wardrobe pieces to make their lives easier. Bravo to you for finding dresses that are reasonably priced, nursing friendly, and that are pretty. Most of us marvel at all you accomplish. I know I do, God bless you Jennifer keep up the good work.
Jennifer, thank you for another lovely video. I love your style. Your dresses are beautiful, and I don't think there's anything wrong with having a "uniform." Some of the most successful and professional people have "uniforms" they wear every day, i.e., the classic black suit, Steve Jobs in his all-black outfit, or other tech entrepreneurs who favor a hoodie and jeans. I think it is great to find what works for you and stick with it. Also, your baby is adorable! Keep it up.
This was a delightful video, Jennifer! Living in a colder, more northerly climate, where we still have many inches of snow on the ground, I will not be transitioning quite yet. However, we recently went to Hawaii and I was able to go through my summer wardrobe. I ended up donating one white top and purchasing a different one. Having pared down my summer wardrobe before putting it away made it a lot easier to pack for the trip. I am still not down to 10 core items, but thanks to you, I am always aware of my clothes and when I find I am not wearing an item I get rid of it. I am sorry about the critical people. Perhaps they admire you more than you think if they continue to watch your videos! Perhaps your graciousness will rub off on them and they will become happier and less critical!
Thanks for sharing! I love your choices and your style! You always encourage me in my journey as a woman, wife, and mother and I appreciate you and your channel! ♥️
Never any correction or judging from me!! I love all of your videos and how classy you are. I've read all of your books many times and will never tire of them!! I often wonder if Madame chic knows what an impression she made on you and how her influence gave birth to a whole industry of books and TH-cam for you!!
Jennifer, your 10 item wardrobe has inspired me so much. We just renovated our master bath and walk-in closet and it was the perfect time to critique my clothing. I just boxed up 2 huge boxes of clothes to give away! It feels so good to only have hanging what I actually wear! Thank you for that!!!
Thank you so much for encouraging me to take another look at wearing dresses as my daily costume! I have 11 in my current wardrobe. They are hung with the coordinating accessories on the hanger and hung in a row which makes choosing the one on the left side of my row the costume choice of the day! No more thinking about what I’m going to wear..... it’s the one on the left side!
So sweet! I remember that beautiful red floral blouse from TJ Max! I was on the T (subway) in Boston and a young woman was wearing it, so I HAD to tell her all about your blog/books/TH-cam channel!
I love when you explain your process for how you transition from one season to the next! I also love that you are real in showing us what works for you - regardless of the criticism you might receive. All of your pieces are lovely, classic and chic! I can't wait to see your fashion show! Now I need to get to work on my Spring Wardrobe! 🌷💗
Dear Jennifer, you are such a graceful young lady! Baby is ADORABLE and that little grin! I enjoy the 10 item wardrobe videos very much, and it is so fun to know all of your clothes and their history since I have seen all your videos related to this topic from the start! If and when you have time and energy I would also enjoy the outfits you wear day by day videos that you have made in the past...no pressure I admire all that you manage to juggle in your life and with such calm yet also humour! 💜
Arabella Davis/Tried &True. You forget how life works, its sometimes great to have negativity including people who push as its part of self progression (put self out of your comfortable zone) and maturity. I think Jennifer is now more ‘thick skinned’ now are years of receiving mixed reviews. All business (including jennifers business model) require continuous improvement and adaptation in order to ‘survive’. If she litterally showed thr same content over and over inguarantee she would not have as many great fan as she currently does. Some people are unneccasarily nasty i know but sadly it can never be avoided, a bit like amazon who is the massive bully for small businesses and gets away with it....
I love and appreciate that even though your still putting out content- your making home/baby life a priority! For those of us “in the trenches” of motherhood/working/nursing- it’s nice to see how you cope/balance as well. It’s life and you can be chic through out it all. 💗👶🏼
Thank you for your bit about having an everyday uniform. I am a teacher and I find myself reaching for similar items and sometimes I have self conscious about wearing "the same thing" over and over. But then your videos are such a wonderful reminder of not having to go with every trend or new style. I love having a simpler wardrobe, thank you for doing these videos!
Yay!!! I’ve been waiting for a ten item wardrobe video. They are my favourite. It really inspired me when I saw your 2019 spring/summer wardrobe to work on mine. It also confirmed I own a lot of great pieces and that I don’t have to purchase many more. I think I finally got the hang of how to tweak my ten item wardrobe thanks to watching you all these years. Now I’m looking forward to your spring/summer fashion show.😊. Thanks Jennifer
Love it! I am a pregnant, previously nursing mama and I have one of those dresses-- considering getting a second as well! You're right; they are fabulous! I'm not able to plan much more at the moment because I am due very soon (tomorrow, actually!!) and will be in-between sizes, as well as dealing with wonky weather, for a while. I did pack up my warmest maternity clothes, though.
I live in a small community in the mountains of Northern California. “Meth heads” abound here and are comfortable running around town in their pajamas. I understand the comments made by some. I try to strike a balance with my ensembles that doesn’t make me stand out as a fashionista or a frump. I love your channel.
I love your choices! My favorite quotation (found when I was 15 years old) is, "Do what you can, right where you are with what you have." It makes me feel so good to see someone I truly respect doing the same thing, essentially, and looking so beautiful and happy! Thank you, Jennifer!
Just affirming what many others are saying...you are lovely, your baby and all your children and hubby are precious, I love the 10 item wardrobe videos and I appreciate your bravery to have a youtube channel so much! I am way too chicken to do it, haha, even though I can see how much beauty you have brought into the world through your channel and books.
I always enjoy your 10 item wardrobe videos. Your advice to wear what works for your lifestyle is such a good tip. We're a long way off from spring here, but I'm thinking about my spring wardrobe. I had a chance to replace one of my favorite t-shirts that had a stain on it.
I always love these 10 item wardrobe videos. I also find that I have a certain “uniform” for spring/summer and another for fall/winter and I think that’s normal and good! We should definitely wear what we feel good in and comfortable in! My uniform dress for spring and summer is Boden’s Phoebe dress. I did evaluate my fall/winter capsule wardrobe and made notes about my most worn pieces and other pieces I didn’t turn to so I can remember that for next fall. I also started going through some of my spring/summer items and tried some on and decided which to part with and which to bring out again. I’m not quite finished with that process. I also recently added the Lands End striped olive t shirt to my wardrobe as I needed a new t shirt. I like your black and white one too. I love your sea foam green dress.
My minimal wardrobe works for me and my life- I have you to thank for that! My clothes are of good quality and long lasting, pretty, modest and I will never be trendy....and I embrace that wholeheartedly.
I love your style and I totally buy multiples of the same dress! Lots of minimalists have wardrobes. As long as you feel amazing and presentable in it, go for it!! One less decision to make in the morning. ❤️
I am team uniform! lol. I have a difficult time finding clothes that fit me just right. When I find something that fits me right , I get it in a few colors and stick with that :)
Good morning Jennifer! I love everything that you have for the spring and yes, that TJMAXX top is so beautiful on you! I love those lace tops so much and I think they are great all year long, just layer in fall/winter. I’m without a closet at the moment although I’ve been using Ivan’s to hang stuff up. I look forward to going through my wardrobe soon. It can sure use an overhaul. As the years go by, I realize what works and what’s just plain uncomfortable and not worth the money. Love these videos!🌹
Jennifer you are speaking my language here, I am getting ready to transition my wardrobe into spring as well and have the same requirements: lots of florals, stripes, and all nursing friendly! You’ve raved about those lands end dresses and I adore that brushstroke pattern, I may need to go check that one out 💛
Oh, Hilary you have got to get them. Or at least one. They have been amazing during the nursing season and they don't "lag" after you've pulled the top aside to nurse. How have you been? I've been in the trenches lately, haha, but totally enjoying the baby. xx
Your spring wardrobe is very beautiful and cheery. I am wondering if you will share where you got the floral robe or kimono hanging up behind you? It's so pretty! I am going to find time to go through my wardrobe very soon, but since it is still very wintry here, I'm dragging my feet. (it was 0 degrees overnight here! Ack!)
Enjoyed your video. The lace top looks very nice on you and so flattering. I do not have a 10 piece wardrobe....I think I am a clothes collector...I was looking through my wardrobe and realized that I could not ever get down to 10 pieces. or 20 or 40...I keep my clothes a long time and add to my collection each season if there is something I need and like. You did a great job with your Spring wardrobe...Disregard those who criticize you...we are all in a different place in life and we all have different goals and lifestyles. I enjoyed your books. Your baby is as cute as can be. I will not be able to change over to Spring/Summer clothes sometime in April as I live in the northern part of the US.....I can only pray for an early Spring with warm weather.
Beautiful choices! Could you share or maybe you already have a video on this in the past on how you properly launder your items to keep them looking great?
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻love what you said and shared in this video!! I’m a stay-at-home care giver and yes, we all need to wear what works for our lifestyle. #noapologies 👊🏻💕xoxo
Kaitlin Cruse Hello, I wear casual clothes, straight leg jeans (dark wash, white and black. Black leggings, only if my top is long enough.😬. Solid color tops in mostly neutral colors. I like to layer my tops, that adds interest. Maybe check out BusbeeStyle here on TH-cam. She puts together outfits combos and has tons of style advice. We ladies have to stick together, right? 😊. God bless you💕.
Hi Jennifer! I bought 3 of the LLBean dresses including the navy brushstroke. If I find a dress that is long enough and ladylike I will buy multiple. It makes it easy and I'm happy with it, no apologizes needed ❤ Thanks for the inspiration!
I'm still nursing as well. I predict I'll be wearing my jean skirt from llbean with a lot of t shirts and blouses. I'm down to one pair of cropped jeans that fit and I think I'll be able to fit into my 3 pairs of shorts by May. I currently only have 2 t shirts and 1 blouse and my budget is $60! This should be interesting. The next 9 months or so are going to be tight as hubby finishes becoming a teacher. God bless
Always love your ten-item wardrobe videos! I live in Taiwan. Guess the climate here is pretty similar to south California. We dont really have cold winter here. Last December, the lowest temperature was still up to 15 degrees Celsius. Will you shoot a runway show for the spring wardrobe? It would be great if we can see you actually wear those dresses in next video.
Loved this video and how you say we all should all dress to fit our lives right now. My life revolves around dog-walking, gardening and cleaning, so I need all the chic advice I can get! BTW I've never been disappointed by your videos, despite my one non-positive comment a while ago about junk drawers.
Love your new dresses. Completely agree with you about not apologising if you style works for you. Who wants to be fashionable anyway? Coco Chanel never did.
Thanks for sharing your spring outfits Jennifer! I love and appreciate the 10-item wardrobe concept. People can be so clueless when they make negative comments, or want you to tailor your wardrobe so that it fits their lifestyle exactly too. I just don't get it! You look beautiful and you've inspired me to work more dresses into my jeans and "athleisure" lifestyle! :)
Another great video. I love it when your “real life” intrudes! It proves your points about life, clothes and makeup that really works. Sometime when you feel like it 😜 and have time 😂 Could you do a talk on manufacturers that you trust? I have been disappointed lately in the quality of the 2 shops I’ve always had success with. Suddenly their clothes are pilling, shrinking and just not lasting for the price. I’m very careful about laundry and nothing changed except the fabrics they are using. I need to explore online brands to get back to buying quality products that last more than a year. Maybe I’m out of it here but I expect my pants & tops to last more than a year. They used to last 2-3 before they wore out. One or two always died early & some have done 10 years. I don’t mind spending more for quality. I’m not all about the toss away fast fashion. But I’m finding my former quality clothes have disappeared from my local stores. In the meantime I’m going to look at some of the links in this & other 10 item talks. Plus your friend over in England that’s French & talks clothing a lot. And I’m so sorry you’re being barraged with armchair critics. How small & uneventful their lives must be!!! Please keep on being you and doing what you like. It’s always worked for me & I suspect the large majority here. 🤗❤️👍 And I remember that scarlet print top, the dresses at the end. Going to look at Boden. Oh I loved that lavender print. The zulilly & the seafoam dresses are GORGEOUS!!!!
I have that Land’s End dress in black and in orchid paisley. It is perfect for nursing and so flattering. I basically lived in those two dresses through all of last summer. I would love to get that sea foam print! They look great with a cardigan on top when it’s cooler. I guess that’s my uniform 😆
Ten item wardrobe videos are my favourites ❤️ I think you are amazing to keep producing videos whilst caring for four children, so no need to apologise for anything. Wasn’t it Jacqueline Kennedy who said when you find something you like to buy one in every colour ? It simply makes sense 😊 Best wishes from subtropical Australia (where I’m dreaming of an end to our record-breaking summer) xxx
Great wardrobe! I may need to add that new ll bean dress to my wardrobe as well. I just switched my clothes from winter to spring. I just had a baby in January though so I’m still morphing (lol) so a lot of it is t-shirts from last year. I really need more core pieces and not have extras as core pieces but with nursing I feel like I can’t buy anything yet for long term. I think I’m just going to wait it out and wear what I have so I can focus more on the fall capsule later. Looking forward to the fashion show video.
I am working hard to get down to 10 items this summer. I got down to about 25 items this winter and wore by black pants EVERY SINGLE DAY. and I felt awesome everyday when I wore them! Thanks!
Stephanie Welch Wearing dresses definitely brings down the count, as separates would require two pieces. But, I suppose with mixing and matching you can bring that down as well.
Loved this video ! Why ? So real and down to earth . Honestly, I struggle with pulling together all of my wardrobe but this inspired me to get going . I like that you walked us through your various looks and wardrobe plans . Always looking presentable, Jennifer ! Have a great week
Beautiful background! You have inspired me so much over the years! I had a "uniform" for fall/winter (leggings, tunic top, long cardigan, and boots). I stuck with neutral colors and it was so easy to mix and match. I want to do something similar for the spring/summer. ❤
So excited to see this! Perfect spring wardrobe! Love the print of your new L.L. Bean dress and your new green dress is gorgeous! If I find a dress I love I buy multiples of them too. I’m getting my spring ten item wardrobe ready with at least half of it being swing dresses. Love your channel!!
Was looking SO forward to this video from you Jennifer!! I just began the 10 item wardrobe the middle of last season, so it’s been a bit of a jumble. I found I had a LOT of winter items (way more than 10) and very few spring/summer items, so am building that now and wanted to see yours for some guidelines. You gave us a bit of info in a different video that was really beneficial, you said everyone has looks that they gravitate toward or always feel comfortable wearing, pick three and keep them updated. This was GREAT advise. Thank You!
Jennifer...could you consider tips/tricks for a 10 item wardrobe for teachers? I want to look professional, but I also need to be able to be comfortable and I don't usually spend a lot of money on my work clothes because they tend to get ruined at work....think dry erase markers, sharpies, pens, pencils, etc. I have done a capsule wardrobe for awhile now, but I feel like I never get to a 10-item core because I have my work clothes, my "church" clothes for nice events, and then my clothes for weekends, errands, etc.
Leigha Burnham hello I currently work in an elementary school and I see all sorts of ways the teachers dress. Some wear high heels and pencil skirts and others wear leggings with oversized flowing tops. It seems that those teachers have quite a selection that they wear in to school. However the prettiest teacher (who is maybe 29ish) wears the same pants and the same tops over and over again. Nothing fancy, nothing frilly just practical. I think it's a personal choice for each teacher.
@@janetsplanet2947 In our local schools, teachers are not allowed to wear leggings, nor are students. I'm expected to look professional, but there is always a "range" of what people interpret as professional. We also cannot wear flip-flops or any shoe that doesn't have a solid back, so even sandals must be more "solid" in appearance.
Leigha Burnham Wow that's a tough dress code expecially in the hot months of May and June. The school I work in is Pre K -2nd grade maybe that's why the Principal is so relaxed.
He is just so precious. 😀I like your ll bean dresses. They do look very nice on you, thanks for the inspiration Jennifer. I need to go through my wardrobe, I'm dreading it. I just did it January I had more than I thought. Things that no loner fit.
Hi Jennifer, I don't wear dresses as I just don't have the shape for them, I love linen trousers with a loose top or light weight jeans with a sweatshirt. I am a stay at home mum and dog walk twice a day and have to admit to wearing casual jersey trousers around the house as they are comfortable and practical. Can you tell me please which of these items would be core and which are extras? I do tend to keep clothes for going out as they are quite pricey and I just cant walk the dog in them in our rainy English weather! You should see the mud sometimes!! I have a few skirts but don't do blouses or shirts! I am a bit confused on how to sort out my wardrobe! Can you come and stay? Ha Ha xx
I appreciate your talking through your Spring wardrobe, even if you weren’t able to do the fashion show. 😊 I recognized the older pieces - fun! Thank you for the inspiration!
Love this video Jennifer! Thanks for sharing. I need to get started on my spring wardrobe. Looking forward to spring colors and florals. Looking forward to your ten item wardrobe video!
Jennifer, I was so excited to see this. I have been working on my chic assignment of prepping my Spring/Summer wardrobe. I am getting rid of 2 Zulily dresses. Sadly, they faded. Garnet Hill had a big sale this weekend, so I purchased 2 dresses. One for Spring- a ruched tie waist dress in Rose Floral and the Brianna Surplice dress in Floral and in Black. They are all nursing friendly! Can't wait to get them. Loved this video❤
If you enjoy my ten-item wardrobe videos, please give this one a thumbs up :) For more, including links, pictures, news, and comment of the week, visit my corresponding blogpost dailyconnoisseur.blogspot.com/2019/03/ten-item-wardrobe-transition-from.html I would love to know how your ten-item wardrobe is coming along!
Thanks x
Definitely no need to apologize! You go beyond fashion to STYLE. May we all aspire to have a functional style.
Thank you so much, Susan!
Agreed!

I love that quote. Thank you for your comment. It was great xx
Never apologize for who you are. Naysayers are probably just jealous. I love the dresses and the tops. I watch Nikki Morena as well. Both of you are so elegant and graceful. Thanks for sharing. That little one is precious!
Baby chic is so adorable he steals the show.
BOOYAAH!!! 🤣
I was LITERALLY just thinking, "I hope she posts a spring video soon..." Just what I needed! Needing a springy update. Thank you!
Thank you for watching, Amanda!
Me too, Amanda! 😊
Dear Jennifer
I have been following you for quite a few years now and, like many of your viewers, I love the 10 item wardrobe videos a lot.
I can’t believe how much I smiled when I saw some of the old favourites e.g APC dress, Boden dress. Like meeting up with old friends. 😁
As for those who criticise you, I applaud how you acknowledge their behaviour and deal with it in a gracious and unapologetic manner.
Yay! I love that!
Your kid... like ... what a treat ☺️💖
:)
P.S. I just love Baby Chic’s cameos!
I loved this!!! Definitely during the fall and winter, I have almost a uniform type style: turtleneck sweaters with jeans and/or skirts or over dresses. And I love it! It’s comfy, stylish, and I don’t really care what people think of me wearing the same type of thing all the time. Haha
I absolutely LOVE your style Jennifer!!!!
Keep it up.
I love the APC dress! I was hoping you still had it. It looks so good on you!
You look so pretty Jennifer. Your baby is adorable.
Thank you so much xx
Thank you so much, Susan! I always appreciate your comments!
Baby is gorgeous and adorable. I actually enjoyed the fact that you showed the wardrobe slowly , without the fashion show.
I love your lace top, Jennifer!!!!!!
I can't wait to see your spring ten-item wardrobe, Robin! Much love xx
So glad you can ignore the naysayers! You are lovely and an inspiration! Real life done your way with no apologies for it! Hurray!xo from Canada!
Thank you, Colleen!
Well, I think you’re beautiful, kind and inspirational 💐👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for your bit about having an everyday uniform. I am a teacher and I find myself reaching for similar items and sometimes I have self conscious about wearing "the same thing" over and over. But then your videos are such a wonderful reminder of not having to go with every trend or new style. I love having a simpler wardrobe, thank you for doing these videos!
Your spring wardrobe is lovely! What a beautiful son you have!
Thank you, Andie!
Jennifer, Your face is so beautiful when your hair is drawn back into the classic bun, twist, etc. with the earrings. ❤️❤️❤️
I love your earrings. They're beautiful!
Thank you so much, Toni!
I like all the videos you post but my favourites always will be the ten item wardrobe talks!
That Zulily maxi dress would look good tailored to a short sleeve, knee length dress. Good to see you bought the black jeans for next winter
That would look good! I might try it!
Great choices, Jennifer. Love your new purchases, too.
Thank you so much!
Thank you, Nikki! I always love the way you dress. So beautiful and feminine! Looking forward to watching your vlog later xx
So great to see favourites coming back
I agree! I buy clothes I like in diffferent colours. And I fel great. Best from Sweden.
Thank you for watching!
A beautiful Spring collection!
Yes, dress for your lifestyle and climate. Snow in the UK!
Absolutely loved this! It was so interesting seeing you decide what you wanted to keep and what you wanted to pass. Thanks Jennifer! xoxox, Melissa
I do not do a 10 item wardrobe but I love watching your selections. I always find a good tip or item I need. LOL
Hi Jennifer! I bought 3 of the LLBean dresses including the navy brushstroke. If I find a dress that is long enough and ladylike I will buy multiple. It makes it easy and I'm happy with it, no apologizes needed ❤ Thanks for the inspiration!
I love the new LL Bean dress! As a fellow mom of four, I would like to know how you plan your children’s wardrobe!
I'm so glad you don't give in to the pressure! There is beauty in form and function.
Sometime when you feel like it 😜 and have time 😂
Could you do a talk on manufacturers that you trust?
And I remember that scarlet print top, the dresses at the end. Going to look at Boden. Oh I loved that lavender print. The zulilly & the seafoam dresses are GORGEOUS!!!!
Great comment! Thank you for the request!
I have that Land’s End dress in black and in orchid paisley. It is perfect for nursing and so flattering. I basically lived in those two dresses through all of last summer. I would love to get that sea foam print! They look great with a cardigan on top when it’s cooler.
I guess that’s my uniform 😆
Eek! He’s adorable. And I 𝓁ℴ𝓋ℯ your spring wardrobe!! 😍
Jennifer I'm like you I dress for my circumstances.I didn't realize I was doing the 10item wardrobe till I started watching your videos.
The lace tee's are really nice. Something I think I will invest into for my spring wardrobe.
Love that APC light blue dress 😊💖!
Thank you! I've subscribed to your channel!
@@TheDailyConnoisseur Wow! Thank you so much!
Thanks!
Thank You!
👍 Jennifer, I appreciate you and your channel so much!
Thanks for the request! I have some ideas!
Trendy is expensive. Anyway, the maxi dress @ 11:06 REALLY complements your coloring. Thanks for doing this video and for showing off little man.
Ha Ha xx
Hi Jennifer, I just watched your videos with pieces you wore in previous years :) Thank you for your inspiration!
This was one of your best videos yet. I liked the format quite well. Thank you for sharing such inspiring information.
I appreciate your talking through your Spring wardrobe, even if you weren’t able to do the fashion show. 😊 I recognized the older pieces - fun! Thank you for the inspiration!
Thank you, Jesse!
