SO glad I found your channel! I have been looking at purchasing a Riviera Belize Coupe. Looking forward to seeing your experiences with your Riviera! Don't skip over the technical boat stuff, its not boring, we are keen to see the real side of cruising on an express cruiser!
Thanks! I’m glad you found it to. Ok so… we LOVE the look and quality of the Belize. We almost bought one. But when we spent a good amount of time in one we decided no. A couple reasons. First was the master bedroom. The different levels on the floor with no pattern and head room at places just drove us crazy. Then the helm, I couldn’t stand moving every single time Lindsey wanted in and out of the companion seat… it was so annoying. Then the third and the biggest one was no stabilization. They put almost no sea keepers in them and the way we like to cruise that would have been horrible. I have dedicated a half decade to knowing everything there is to know about express boats in this space.. if you ever need to bounce ideas off anyone let me know.. I can talk very granularly with you. Email in our profile. Cheers and thanks for the comment! Also, The next two videos don’t have a ton of the boat in them but we will for sure do more tech stuff now that people are asking. Hope you still enjoy.
@@The71Percent I appreciate the response! Sounds like you have a bit more experience in the space than I do. I have had a Sea Ray which I loved, but moving bigger to make passages like you guys are. I will definitely reach out for your input. Good luck with the channel!
I have recently discovered your channel and I’ve watched your hurricane escapes and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your comments and videos that has always been a dream of mine was to live on a boat how cool I will continue to watch. Thanks for the great viewing.
@@MichaelBassett-z1o thank you for the kind comment! We are so glad you are enjoying the content. We post ever Wednesday. Hope to see you in the comments again. Cheers!
Hey! Thanks. The Axopar is such a cool boat! My brother almost bought one but decided to go for a traditional center console Chris Craft instead. We looked heavily at those and Saxdor
I wanted the 37 but I like to b more mobile and go to other locations...the pilot house was a big consideration for the weather which has been a great benefit....keep up the locations....we r going to destin next summer with the boat especially with the one u did there....good work keep it up

@@The71Percent Oklahoma, but we try to spend as much time with our feet in the sand as we can! We enjoy sailing and that's most of our content, until we can buy our own boat and chase our dream on living on the water! Not much salt water here in the Midwest!

Welcome! And thank you. We really hope you enjoy them. They are way more work than we excepted but we are enjoying it. Look forward to seeing you in the comments.
Enjoying your new channel! Could you do a follow up introductory video where you talk about your boat. Specifically, I would be interested to know why you bought the Riviera brand over Princess or Sunseeker and since it is built in Australia, if you know how much the shipping charge to the US might have added to the purchase cost. I would also be interested to know why you chose a sedan style yacht over a flybridge. A tour of the boat, including the accommodations would be fun to see as well as talking about the specifications - length, beam, draft, motors, tankage, range, etc. thanks!
@@gmeck100 I could talk about those subjects for DAYS! I have done more research and been on more boats in the last 5 years than you can imagine. I have run every brand you just mentioned. We will do it! Right after the holidays. Thanks for the kind words. Cheers.
@edwinosorio6466 we will be doing one… this boat is actually for sale so we were gonna wait for our new one. But the new one will be smaller and a trawler… because we wanna cross oceans
@ thats great. What are you guys looking at? I know you have probably done a lot of research but i have been looking at the Beneteau swift tralers for a while.. they look great
