The feeling you transport with this videos is just amazing. I feel so calm and peaceful. You help to forget about all the crap thats happening out there and just value all the beauty in the world. Thank you so much for sharing that with us!
I found the words : the way you speak, the way look at the camera, things you that you show in the video and the way of your explains while exiting your self, left me speechless and want me stop watching :) .
I just can’t imagine how much effort you are putting in here. Taking video and photographs at the same time is a hell of work but you are bringing the results so amazing that every person who watches it brings a smile to the face. It’s beautiful and always inspiring..thank you. Regards Yeshi from Bhutan 🇧🇹..
I think the feeling of being absolutely alone and having a trusting interaction with a wild animal is almost spiritual. I have had quite a few and to me there is nothing better. It is sad that most people will never have the chance to really slow down or be in a place for that to happen. It is the number one reason I love photography so much. It puts me in those places. Thanks for sharing.
Yes agree, and hopefully you had the little rubber piece on the D850's bottom. Amazing what that little $7 rubber piece can do for weather proofing the camera and I always remember to replace it when removing the vertical grip. More cameras have failed and have been completely ruined by forgetting that little rubber piece, Nikon will usually not even fix a camera with water damage, so they are a complete loss. *Always remember to replace the rubber that cover's the contacts for the vertical grip!*
I sat down with my coffee for another wonderful instalment, thank you Morten for your passion, enthusiasm and respect for the animals you photograph, it is much appreciated ...Chris 🇬🇧🇨🇦🇬🇧
I must confess that, in addition to being a great fan of your work as a professional photographer, you are also an inspiration to me since I am a 16-year-old student in a Photography APR and I am currently very passionate. I bothered to translate the text too. Thank you! And greetings from Mexico.
My son is a cinemaphotographer and he has an hole crew with him when he make movies, and you do this al alone. And still create such a fealing that we can almost feel that we are on this island with you and explore this beatiful place. This inspire me so much to go out and explore in the same spirit. A big Thank you for sharing from me in Sweden.
Hi Helena and thank you for this very nice and encouraging compliment 😊 it is very nice of you. I'm so glad I can inspire you - that is my main goal with these videos 😊😊
This video made me feel so much that I imagined myself in paradise, knowing that soon the animals and humanity will be in their best condition and that the earth as a home will be restored by Jehovah, it really made me cry of emotion. Thank you for this beautiful video.
I watched the part 1 last night before going to bed, and now just finished watching the part 2 sir Morten, and we're very happy. I felt your love in the wildlife adventures.
What a joy it gives me to know that this man, apart from experiencing and enjoying nature, can show us and teach us what he is like. Thank you for sharing your experiments with us, we enjoy it. Greetings Morten Hilmer
Yes, I really wish I had an opportunity to photograph some of the amazing landscapes and animals I saw while in the mountains of eastern Afghanistan. I was stationed at Firebase Lilley, about 4 miles from the Pakistani border at an elevation of about 8,500 ft/3800 meters. However it was an extremely dangerous place and I was forced to always have my rifle ready instead. Some of the greatest photographs in life, are the ones you don't or can't take! Instead you take a visual photograph in your mind and when I remember Afghanistan, I try to remember it's beauty. Sometimes harder said than done, because I saw a lot of ugliness there as well, but it was as beautiful as this island in the video. Great job, your video's are always getting better and I enjoy them so much.
I am so exited once again to watch this video! The last one was so well done and I am so thrilled to be able to see this next one! Thank you for everything you do Morten! Your videos are so entertaining and truly truly incredible! Tony
This is far better than anything TV has to offer these days. From one photographer to another, thank you for your efforts in making this. Feels like the viewer is right there with you. Wishing you all the best and continued success in the future.
The lone reindeer seems to value your company. The weather can be kind or cruel but your story is seem-less and I am enjoying every second of this beautiful world you bring to us, thank you so much.
Morten, is my all time favorite TH-camr! His videos always bring me to some greater understanding in life and peace. Reminds me of what I'd love to accomplish in the world! The arctic is something that needs to be photographed rn!!
excellent again Morten thank you for making such beautiful films the music is so fitting too adding lovely emotions to the situation just great thanks again.
This really is next level wildlife photography Morten, I don't think there are many of us that would ever do what you're doing so thanks for taking us on the journey and thanks for putting so much effort into the production, you set the standard and you raise the bar time and time again, this just isn't a youtube video, this is cinematic experience. see you n part 3
Morten how you manage so many cameras while looking at the reindeer is beyond belief. You are also looking out for bears ,the weather and a boatload of technical gear. You are a genius!
Just watched part two, The mix of music and the scenery was truly amazing. We need more of your love and respect towards nature! Keep up the wonderful work!
Belles images dans un cadre magnifique, belle communion entre Homme et Dame Nature avec toutes ses composantes (faune, flore, paysage....) Merci pour ce voyage dans le vrai monde.
I'm so happy to see this today. I wanted to watch yesterday, but I was too busy to sit down and really appreciate it. What an amazing moment that must have been - just two creatures in nature together. 😊 I can't describe how I feel when that happens, but yeah... it's really something. 😊 And, my God, Svalbard is utterly beautiful. Wonderful video, Morten - as always.
I just made a cup of tea, so perfect timing :) What an amazing encounter you with the reindeer. These Svalbard reindeer look so beautiful. Maybe he was happy to finally have some company. I'm slightly jealous of the antlers you found ;). I hope you were able to take them home. Really enjoyed every minute of this video and thank you for sharing your adventure. Can't wait for part 3!

Fantastic Video, the reindeer in this landscape is bathed in an almost magical moment ..... that had something from Lord of the Rings. Fantastic photos. Really respect
While the reindeer was looking at you, you were watching him with a love of all things in Nature. That is what makes your work so special, Morten. What a fantastic setting! I'm enjoying each video 3-4 times so far. Thank you for sharing all of this with us!!
Magnificent pictures of this reindeer. How wonderful (s)he was at peace with you there.I hope you can get those antlers back home. Its a special gift for you. Thank you!
It is incredible when you can get that close to a wild animal, closer than their or sometimes your comfort zone would normally allow, and somehow you both know that neither means harm to the other. It's happened to me several times in my life and its an amazing feeling that stays with you. I really think you have moved your videos to the next level lately Morten! Thanks for sharing this adventure with us!
Another amazing trip, another beautiful moments you were so kind to share with us... Thank you for being a source of inspiration for people deeply in love with nature and for bringing it closer to those who haven't fallen in love with it yet. I had always rejected the idea of sleeping in a tent before I came across your channel but it's not the case anymore. I'm looking forward to spend a night or two under the sky one day, not among bears though haha. Just me, my girlfriend, a camera and of course some delicious hot coffee :)) Tusind tak!
Morten I have to tell you, your storytelling in these videos are next level! Like, you're a full-on documentary filmmaker aswell, nojoke! Thats exactly what ive thought!
These are really nice words Malte - what an awesome compliment. I am so glad to have you here on the channel. All the best from Denmark.
I make your words mine. Sensational.
I found the words : the way you speak, the way look at the camera, things you that you show in the video and the way of your explains while exiting your self, left me speechless and want me stop watching :) .
I know this is 3 years later but just found your channel and these films are elevated far beyond what I'd expect from youtube. Truly stunning.
Breath taking only begins to describe your films. Thank you

I was thinking about the same thing. The amount of effort is beyond many people's imagination. Nothing but respect.

when that raindeer staring at you.. i feel something.. i feel peace
