I have one of this frame, bought directly from GreenEdge team shop in Australia when BikeEchange pro team moved to Bianchi bikes after being sponsored by Scott for several years. I only paid 499 AUD (GBP 292) for a brand new team edition frameset , it's an awesome frame so light and has good tyre clearance for modern rims. Yet to build the bike ! The paint job is awesome.
Love these calm, slow bike builds. Refreshing in sort of an odd way to se a rim brake build. Love it!
Truth be told; this is the best looking bike Mr. Cade has had! Feel very zen after watching this one ;).

@@Jimmidoesstuff I just bought a complete brand-new Force AXS groupset 2X Disc for 1600€ (inc cassete and chain). It's not cheap, but also not that expensive, its cheaper than the new 105 Di2.

Beautiful bike. But title and description are a bit off: The shifters are Sram Force 22 eTap, not AXS. AXS cannot be combined with rim brakes, but is electronic, 12-speed and disc brake-only.
As a proud owner of an Addict (also rim brake one) i can only say wow, what a beauty 🤩

Great job, really enjoy your videos! Always learn a few tips watching you complete these builds, so worthwhile on their own, but it's also fun to see a little 'behind the scenes' with Francis filming in these as well.
Beautiful build as usual. Took me a while to recognise those things at the top of the forks, then I remembered they are brakes 😂 I would pay to go to a bar taping master class from Nic.

Excellent. It’s wierd how I live vicariously over the excitement of watching a guy build a bike up. I just finished an old De Rosa 2 nights ago.took about 2 months more from spending a thousand hours debating on what and how to buildmit than actually building it then it went too fast and I almost stopped the lastnight cuz i didnt want it it to be over.then i rode it to work the next morning, and it was more perfect than I even knew it would be. So thanks for the inspiration along the way cuz, in the end, it is always worth it!

Agreed. These dream builds take forever until they finally attach actual components to the frame. Even more annoying when they need zip-ties and bubble wrap to prevent Di2 cables from rattling inside a +5000 $/€ frame.

I've been swiping through the internet to find a good-quality & brandnew recent-made rim brake road bike frame(best with direct mount brakes), it's so nice to see this beautiful Scott addict rc. But unfortunately, it's really hard to get an access to buying a new rim brake bike frame in my country. Getting and shipping back one from abroad could cost a lot😮💨😭Anyway thank u for showing me this wonderful scott addict rc.

I have a Fuji with rim brakes, that I want to upgrade to a new group. I have been thinking of converting it from Shimano to SRAM. I need rim brakes, though. I enjoyed this video and I'll try to find this group in my srea to convert my bike to.

How long did it take to assemble the entire bike from start to finish? These pro build videos make it look like plug and play.
Hahaa this one was about 4 hours. But we messed about a lot and hate dinner. The pure bike build with no tarting is about 90 mins.

Most of the world does it this way so it's debatable who's 'wrong'. I find it makes more sense to have front mech & front brake on one lever and rear/rear on the other. More intuitive. And yes, I know all the justifications like cabling, etc.
@@MM-kt5dv Left brake rear/right brake front even is the law in a few countries (all of them have left-side traffic), it is also quite common in Italy where this set-up was made popular by motorcyclists. On a motorbike the front brake is actuated with the right lever and rear braking is done by foot. Yet, "most of the world" does it according to the shifters: rear-right, front-left.
So…what is that little red plastic tool/guide called for setting the rear mech up and what does it do?
Comes with sram mechs. Front mech has one too.
Where can you get one of these?
