I stopped playing in 2019, I got so fed up with the perpetual grind that seems to take place at tiers 7-10. And the game is designed to basically have you throw money at it to make things go slightly faster. Even after 2 years of playing I only had 1 tier 9, 1 tier 8 a hand full of 6's and a couple of 7s. No where near tier 10. I have it unlocked but the XP amd credits is where I'm falling short.

When he said he had bunch of ships ranging from t6 to t9, I felt it immediately - I played the game the same way when I started. And while the grind was not easily sped up in 2019, you still wanted to play and make progress. So I myself remember playing IJN cruisers up to Myoko and then not having enough credits for Mogami; I also started another lines and while you could sell ships and get SOME credits back, it wasn´t enough to get you past certain mark in the grind; especially if you weren´t unicum, didn´t have tons of signals, premium account (remember - F2P game) and - most importantly - wanted to play preferrably ships you need to gain XP on (hence why I had like 10 branches started in various states on T4-T6 myself without any T8 and higher). What also plays against you in this scenarios (and what you have no idea about as a newbie) is that each cruiser plays differently A LOT from other cruisers and the same goes for BBs, DDs and CVs (at least at those times). So by using "xp bonuses for the first win of the day" and such you were circling through many ships while not mastering any. I only later (and after a year-long pause) I found the will to play again and actually finished my first T10. Now I have dozens of them, tons of knowledge and stopped playing again due to steady increase in aggressive monetisation while providing less and less customer friendly behavior. My relationship with the game became extremely toxic for me and I had freed myself from it in March 2023. Probably for good, this game is not going the way I would enjoy anymore
About the playerbase: If your FAVORITE ship OP: It's balanced. If your FAVORITE ship balanced: It's unplayable shit. If your FAVORITE ship realy weak: PLS BAN SUBS. If a ship you never played OP: It's OP. If a ship you never played Balanced: It's OP If a ship you never played realy weak: It's OP.
Finally someone understands why I always liked the Minnesota and Vermont, even before the acceleration and concealment buffs. I recently got the combat scout achievement with the Vermont. 🤣
Vermont is great. Best WR out of all my T10 BBs somehow. So reliable, smashes things. And Minnesota is where you start with that, to get used to it for the T10, after th awful grind of the Kansas when not top tier.

Kansas is the ship I sail when I want to enjoy a meal while the main guns reload. I have the golden pin-up camo, mounted. The Kansas is a gorgeous full-figured lady who unhurriedly does her best, and teaches us to savor every moment.
@@Alvaro89Rus Cant agree Yes, you gotta know when pushing in otherwise you are dead meat, but the mobility makes it kinda easy to wiggle and dodge, the Guns are actually accurate and you will always get your Damage. The AA is enough to wipe the sky from one attack squad and the acceleration makes it easy to throw peoples aim off. You didnt enjoy them? That good for you! But maybe you should have a look at how you played them, should you ever revist them !

But I quite liked the Minnesota. (and for a long time it was my only Tier 9 so... why not sail it.) Great vid as usual Yuro.
0:50 you can penetrate the nose and "dodge" the turtleback, there is a small cap where are you able to zitadel.. Having 32mm overmatch makes it easier, because you can have a bigger cap. Check the armor in the harbor^^
I grinded through Minnesota, can say the experience was quite mixed, mostly positive but definitely had its terrible moments. And definitely worth getting to Vermont. Same playstyle, but with with more sniping with spotter plane. I always love sniping broadside carriers during the first minute of the match.

We play the IJN destroyers because of 5,4km detection and that´s a 5x more advantage of all above.

Is the Kansas that bad on PC? On my ps5 on legends it's a monster and considered one of the best battleships in the game
