I haven’t even started the video yet but the title made me think of that case immediately. I believe I watched the interrogation video of him and at first he denied anything but then he admits he got mad bc she supposedly said another mans name and he brutally hurt her. (Trying to not say the final outcome bc TH-cam doesn’t like certain words but we all know what evil men do). It was a horrific case, and the way he just nonchalantly said what he did and why, like it’s a normal reaction to what she allegedly did. It was awful and I was hoping it was the only time sometime so brutal happened but it sounds like we’ve got another evil man here. Guess I should start it now.
I just watched a video on Cops & Cons, it was the body camera of the officers who showed up after the brother unlived someone. And he mentions that in the video about Fidel Lopez. After reading a few comments it may be the wrong case but it had the name Fidel Lopez. The one I’m referring too was a dismembered child.
I had to listen to the man who shot and killed my brother in a car jacking case. I hate the fact people downplay and minimize their own crimes. Just keep his azz in jail.

If my father was convicted of this brutal crime, he would never be in the same room as my children. I am glad the board protected his grandchildren, even if their dad wasn’t going to. I don’t like to blame someone’s parents very often but his mom is absolutely an enabler and I’m sure helped him cover up many other crimes and always tried to get him out of any consequences he was given. 😢
Florence Mason's victim impact statement was very powerful. My heart goes out to her and proud of her strength to advocate for herself. This monster doesn't deserve parole!

I thought it was quite telling how at first the mom acted like this sweet naive lady, all befuddled with the computer but as soon as the 1st denial was given, she just slides out of frame and when she slid back she was all eye rolling and pursing her lips. The fact that she was too rude to listen to the entire board decision shows that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. They're all nice until someone says what they don't want to hear.
Perp shook his head when victim started speaking about seemed to get angrier with everything she said. His mom was straight up disrespectful and instead of sitting still on camera was distracting. He earned every second of his sentence that day and at this parole hearing. Keep healing, sweet lady 🙏 I'm so sorry you live with that every day.

it is a constitutional right every inmate gets the opportunity to have a chance at parole. To ease your mind parole already knows what they are going to do, and they had already made the decision before he got there, he is never going to get out if he got 50 years. The right to parole is always given that does not meant the right to get out on parole is. Charles Manson came up for parole like 20 times and never got parole. oh, and if you have a protestor, you are not getting out you are not making a parole and he has the victim, police officers, DA as well so he won't get out as long as she protests, he will never get out. Texas doesn't have a system like this parole comes and sees you and then makes a decision and mails you the results 6 months later.

I'm a survivor of domestic violence and that man terrifies me. He has no insight, he minimises what he did and his remorse is disingenuous. He's just sorry he's in prison. When his victim spoke my heart broke for her. She will be traumatised for the rest of her life and all he could do was say his rehearsed line of "I'm so sorry". I call bullsh*t on that. There was no feeling behind it, he didn't expand on it and he didn't mean it. He will hurt another woman, it's only a matter of time.

I remember my mom being absolutely devastated when she found out I lied about me and two friends ditching a kid we couldn’t stand. “I never knew you could be so mean son.” That shit changed me honest to god. Haven’t ever felt like such a pos. Idk how this mother can face him.
A Mothers Love is normally very strong, US moms will always love our children, and we will be extremely disappointed and mad at you for ruining your life, and someone elses, an me (personally) will side with the victims family, if this was my son. As a rape survivor at knife point when I was 16 years old by serial rapist, I can tell you that the perp doesn't change their behavior. He served 12 years on a 25 yr sentence for raping another woman just before me. He cut her ear. I didn't fight because I was babysitting three young children. So he ruined what was left of high school, I couldn't be left alone up until I turned 30 yrs old when my doctor put me on zoloft. I would force myself to stay awake all night when my husband worked the midnight shift. Even when he worked days and afternoons, I was still scared to be alone and then with our first born. Two boys and our daughter later I'm then 35. We were on a two week multi state plus Canada vacation. When I got back home, all my newspapers were waiting to be read. There it was, a story about a man that had been raping young college girls. I can't remember how many more but he also raped a mother while her small Child was near at an indoor pool. He had been hired to work at a care facility for disabled residents. I was shocked, sickened and really just about lost my mind. I called the local police to get me to the police in Grand Rapids area I believe. I had to let them know about me and his other victims. A report from the local area came down to interview me. He asked what impact did this crime have on me. He ruined my life. He now is a life without parole prisoner. MDOC Christopher Irving Alexander

Violent offenders like this should never be considered for parole, or any form of release. I was raped at gunpoint in 2014 and the offender gets released in 5 months, and I am terrified. No one should have to experience this fear after already surviving something that traumatic.
@@maitime8712 actually 7 years prison followed by 7 years sex offender probation. Took 2 years to get him sentenced & he was released without bail during that time. It was a whole mess.

If, after almost 20 years in prison, he still says he doesn't really know why he committed these crimes, then there's no way to know if it'll happen again. And if it does, he'd have the same response, "I don't know why I did it, but im really sorry." So, no, no release for him.

With all due respect to his son -- who lost precious time with his father -- we make choices and we have to pay the price for those choices. And I agree with you. He should never be let out.
His family wasn't very sympathetic to what he had done to the victim more concerned about his welfare. The impact statement from the victim was very sad and powerful clearly showing that he's a liar he never called the ambulance. And so far he's only done 19 out of 50 there's no way this guy is ready for to be released into society.
That's the whole point of having family members make statements on his behalf. They are speaking on his behalf. They are his family members, they are supporting him. That does not mean they are unsympathetic to the victims and their families, it's just that they are speaking as his supporters, not as a neutral body.

In most of these hearings the parole hopeful family never considers the victim. Instead they act as if they are being victimized by not having their monster at home.

Ms. Mason’s, his second victim, statement really hit home the LIFELONG effects victims of violent crime suffer. He robbed her forever of the peace, safety and comfort that many of us enjoy while in our homes. She fears walking inside by herself, has to have the utility closet’s, where he hid and emerged from, door open at all times and panics if it isn’t, too afraid to ever open a window again, has to sleep with her bedroom door closed. All of this, even with a security system and the knowledge he’s locked up in prison. My heart broke for this poor lady. She obviously has severe PTSD and I wish she could get help.

I honestly think he doesn't have a very high IQ, he sounded a little slow when he was speaking. They should do an IQ test on all inmates and give the results at these parole hearings. Also, just like a mother should never be viewed as an acceptable alibi, a mother (and even a father) should not be viewed as an acceptable post release from prison plan. She did nothing (was unable) to stop him from horrifically assaulting at least two women prior to his incarceration so what will she be able to do now?
Mandoo, you've introduced me to the inside of the thought processes of people who harm others. These cases are so insightful and we need to be on the prevention side vs the after side. I hate so many have been harmed or killed. I don't even like parole hearings, they need to abolish them, except in the most extreme cases.

After serving well less than half of his sentence it would be an insult to the multiple victims in this case to release this monster. In the event someone is able to do to another weaker, more vulnerable person and then "play" his opportunity for remorse as if it were all a big misunderstanding... I believe the first victim, was the sons mother. If I heard correctly, she was referred to as miss Phillip, and the son shares that last name. I'll have to go back and watch again, but If that is correct, I really don't understand how he could even want anything to do with the monster. If he is her son, I can only imagine he must not have a very good relationship with his mother, if he could be so willing to have the predator in his and his childrens lives.

it is a constitutional right every inmate gets the opportunity to have a chance at parole. To ease your mind parole already knows what they are going to do, and they had already made the decision before he got there, he is never going to get out if he got 50 years. The right to parole is always given that does not meant the right to get out on parole is. Charles Manson came up for parole like 20 times and never got parole. oh, and if you have a protestor, you are not getting out you are not making a parole and he has the victim, police officers, DA as well so he won't get out as long as she protests, he will never get out. Texas doesn't have a system like this parole comes and sees you and then makes a decision and mails you the results 6 months later.

When his victim spoke my heart broke for her. She will be traumatised for the rest of her life and all he could do was say his rehearsed line of "I'm so sorry". I call bullsh*t on that. As a rape survivor at knife point when I was 16 years old by serial rapist, I can tell you that the perp doesn't change their behavior. He served 12 years on a 25 yr sentence for raping another woman just before me. He cut her ear. I didn't fight because I was babysitting three young children. So he ruined what was left of high school, I couldn't be left alone up until I turned 30 yrs old when my doctor put me on zoloft. I would force myself to stay awake all night when my husband worked the midnight shift. Even when he worked days and afternoons, I was still scared to be alone and then with our first born. Two boys and our daughter later I'm then 35. We were on a two week multi state plus Canada vacation. When I got back home, all my newspapers were waiting to be read. There it was, a story about a man that had been raping young college girls. I can't remember how many more but he also raped a mother while her small Child was near at an indoor pool. He had been hired to work at a care facility for disabled residents. I was shocked, sickened and really just about lost my mind. I called the local police to get me to the police in Grand Rapids area I believe. I had to let them know about me and his other victims. A report from the local area came down to interview me. He asked what impact did this crime have on me. He ruined my life. He now is a life without parole prisoner. MDOC

I was raped at gunpoint in 2014 and the offender gets released in 5 months, and I am terrified. No one should have to experience this fear after already surviving something that traumatic.

His family wasn't very sympathetic to what he had done to the victim more concerned about his welfare. The impact statement from the victim was very sad and powerful clearly showing that he's a liar he never called the ambulance. And so far he's only done 19 out of 50 there's no way this guy is ready for to be released into society.
That's the whole point of having family members make statements on his behalf. They are speaking on his behalf. They are his family members, they are supporting him. That does not mean they are unsympathetic to the victims and their families, it's just that they are speaking as his supporters, not as a neutral body.

Ms. Mason’s, his second victim, statement really hit home the LIFELONG effects victims of violent crime suffer. He robbed her forever of the peace, safety and comfort that many of us enjoy while in our homes. She fears walking inside by herself, has to have the utility closet’s, where he hid and emerged from, door open at all times and panics if it isn’t, too afraid to ever open a window again, has to sleep with her bedroom door closed. All of this, even with a security system and the knowledge he’s locked up in prison. My heart broke for this poor lady. She obviously has severe PTSD and I wish she could get help.
This mothers attitude is exactly why I believe a wife or mothers alibi shouldn’t just be accepted by police. Terrifying to see the intergenerational patterns of antisocial behaviour & no empathy.
I feel nothing for him or his mother. She came over and saw the vic, and felt the need to leave her with him again to go next door so someone else could tell her to call 911?! And her mother didn’t even acknowledge his victims. I as a mother would have felt something for them. Just mom to mom, yanno? A seg offender cannot be rehabilitated. Thank the Lord above they were unanimous in their votes.

And mom...mom was there. She saw exactly what he did and still thinks he is just perfect and should get out. Then when the victim speaks you can see her straight ignoring her and acting like the victim did this to her son.
And mom's reaction to his denial tells me everything I need to know.
You are vastly over-stating the mother's point of view. There is no rational way you can conclude from what she said that she thinks he is just perfect.

Very telling mother saying “WE will get him license, paperwork . . .” So co-dependent, can tell she doesn’t expect him to do these things on his own, probably has always done his stuff for him. That’s why he called his mommy before 911.
I honestly think he doesn't have a very high IQ, he sounded a little slow when he was speaking. They should do an IQ test on all inmates and give the results at these parole hearings. Also, just like a mother should never be viewed as an acceptable alibi, a mother (and even a father) should not be viewed as an acceptable post release from prison plan. She did nothing (was unable) to stop him from horrifically assaulting at least two women prior to his incarceration so what will she be able to do now?

Mandoo, you've introduced me to the inside of the thought processes of people who harm others. These cases are so insightful and we need to be on the prevention side vs the after side. I hate so many have been harmed or killed. I don't even like parole hearings, they need to abolish them, except in the most extreme cases.
I don’t know if the son had ever really heard what his father had done. When he was listening to the victim he just looked a little surprised/disgusted. I wouldn’t be surprised if dad and grandma sugarcoated it all to make dad look not as guilty. It’s been 20 years and they’re both still downplaying the severity of the horrible crimes he did and the life long pain he caused the victims. I wish they tore into him and would tell these guys the facts of their case anytime they try this crap. They’re convicted, this isn’t up for debate anymore. I don’t even know how his stupid ring story is possible. He’s such a narcissist he thinks he can still get away with what he’s done smh

I KNEW he was lying when he kept cutting the parole guy off when he was going over the injuries to the first victim and then he lied about EVERYTHING he said in relation to the 2nd victim!! Then he just GLOSSED OVER the fact that the 1st parole guy asked him a question and he just started talking about his son and they ALL started writing with a quickness. Between that and he only took 2 classes in 20 years shows ZERO remorse. I believe if he ever gets out that 2nd victim would leave the state. I know I would...

Mumsy knows everything he's done, but he's a good boy so they must've deserved it. She seems just the type to cover up a murder for her sweet baby boy and then lie to police for him. It's amazing. They all seem to view it from their own perspective ENTIRELY. The way he relays the incidence is so different from the reality of what occurred. Horrific, literally pulling out the woman's insides. Evil man. Pure evil. I shudder to think of men who have this type of evil mindset

After serving well less than half of his sentence it would be an insult to the multiple victims in this case to release this monster. In the event someone is able to do to another weaker, more vulnerable person and then "play" his opportunity for remorse as if it were all a big misunderstanding... In my opinion he has no idea what true remorse is. DENIED

And to think that this man’s son wants to introduce his children to a grandfather that assaulted women so bad that both could’ve died and one of the victims had her inside almost ripped out… he needs to leave that prison in a box.
I believe the first victim, was the sons mother. If I heard correctly, she was referred to as miss Phillip, and the son shares that last name. I'll have to go back and watch again, but If that is correct, I really don't understand how he could even want anything to do with the monster. If he is her son, I can only imagine he must not have a very good relationship with his mother, if he could be so willing to have the predator in his and his childrens lives.
