Sunk 3 months after this. Currently in a boat yard under repair. 2021.
I really would like to see how the aftermarket add-on structures that protect the helm stations look and work. Beautiful, exquisite boat, but I would like to see some more of the practical aspects.
The video (and the music) plays so much better at 1.5 speed
wow, especially the music
х2 is not bad, too
1000%
Thx, for the tip. It made it a lot better.
oh you are genius
I like how they made the side go open. Now we can place an twin Bofors 40mm against pirates.
nah... full on phalanx ciws :-)
Yeah, but are the bulkheads made of tissue paper and actually attached to the hulls?
One of the best Lagoons I've seen for sure.
Yup!
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful comfortable seaworthy
How many people does it need to sail it?
Nice very nice there will always be a place in my heart for lagoon, such grace and elegance.
Thanks for sharing.
Not very informative tbh. Drop the music to background and add a bit of commentary
Beutiful and fentastic boat ever made.
Looks to me like there is enough for five crew members. That should be plenty . That master stateroom is amazing . Like the open balcony when anchored. The man or woman who has the money to own this boat is one lucky person. I would imagine his or her home is amazing as well. Maybe the next life for me.
you could try to optimisticly loan, or rent, a factory example, as a precursor to appreciate, and thereafter intend to buy it.
@@SoerenAU right!
Nice boat but, why are the sailing catamarans, versus the motor catamarans, made with nets up front and not the solid decks? Is this about safety, weight, or something else?
I am looking at the different designs and trying to understand the reasoning behind this difference. Bali does a solid front area and swear by it on their sailing units and they are blue water boats. I get that motor Cats are essentially coastal cruisers but, is it just that they aren't likely to experience open water conditions therefore the odds are played on them?
When you look at the motor versions, you see the solid deck in front provides a lot more useful space if this is not a safety issue.
Beautiful boat!
Looks better in this vid than the one of it sunk!
Cummins hs a product called Onan? That's bloody hilarious. Lovely little boat, btw.
Bello ,molto bello e funzionale . Complimenti a Lagoon , spero di vedervi presto ,molto presto .un saluto.
A very beautiful cat for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Superb Catamaran, Thx for this Video
This is not a boat. It's a little Island. Well done!
This is nice, a full kitchen in it...
Guys... Does anybody know if seakeepers are good to be installed in sail cats? Is it common to install seakeepers in sail cats?
I mean; I wonder if the cat performance could be affected.
My concern is that the cat design was made to use wind loads to perform to a specific level so I wonder if adding a seakeeper for stabilization purposes could somehow affect performance negatively. Any idea there?
It must have a chase boat with the sleeping berths. It would take at least four crew, so how many berths left for quest and owners? I recall seeing only one.
Wow. Would I love to teach intuitive art on that beauty.
Im working on a Master Class 'watching paint dry' it relaxes the mind, very helpfull in these stressfull times. Downside is, you got to earn 6 figures to join the class. Pun intended.
Sadly, this beautiful boat ran aground on a reef and had to be sold. The entire bottom of the starboard hull was destroyed and had to be rebuilt. It is currently sitting in North Sound marina, on the hard (on stands out of the water) being repaired. That is one of the many downsides to having such a big cat like this one, but personally, I think it is a beautiful boat, and what happened is a tragedy.
Sorry I don’t get why this is one of the many down sides of a big cat hitting a reef .can’t any boat hit a reef 😢
@@greatnorthern3481 Yes absolutely, but if it's bigger it's more likely to because it has a bigger draft. You can have a 50 ft boat though with a 3 and 1/2 ft draft, so it also depends on the boat you buy. A 77 ft catamaran is a lot more difficult to navigate with because it is so large. This boat even had a hired captain that supposedly knew the area well and it still hit the reef.
@@greatnorthern3481 It weighs 70 tons with a 2 metre draft. That's why.
How many to crew? A boat for the water for people who don't want to experience the water.
Crazy watching this knowing that 2 months after it was posted the boat was wrecked off the coast of Barbuda
I dont think that was this boat. Ive seen that video, it was terrible.
Thanks for watching!
Yep, same name on the stern... “Mana Kai”... what a shame.
Pas de commentaires, pas d'image se qualité. Retournez a l'usine...
It was totaled on a reef in Barbuda when 5 mo. Old.
Where do these people get the music from? It’s a multi million pound yacht.
I guess it is as they say... in the eye of the beholder, or in this case... the ear of the listener. I think it is just right for a sailboat.
Powerboat videos have faster music.
I think you are on the wrong video mix. Sailboats are about slowing down, relaxing, and enjoying.
Is that genuine teak decking throughout. If yes, doesn't it get too hot?
Im not sure, but it might be.
Teak doesnt get as hot as flexiteak, the difference is huge. flexiteak is plastic and i know from experience that, that stuff gets boiling hot. Its crazy why they use it.
Thanks for watching!
Absolutely gorgeous Cat. Great vid! Thanks for sharing!
@Leo Iezzi what cat?
Sweet Cat! Couldn't have a better layout. Forget the rowing machine...I only row if the Cat goes down!
Beautiful boat. But this is an ad -- with 3 annoying ads inside it.
i,m guessing most cabinetry and fit out material are timber veneers?
100%
A room with a rowing machine? Just in case you don't have the time to make it all the way out to the water for some actual rowing. SMFH
you can do w/e you want when you own this cat.
That's what I thought too! Having an interior space to exercise is good... but that's a whole room that could sleep 2 more people!
Please, bear with me... Could this vessel cross the Atlantic? I mean it is safe to do so?...Thank you.
I've been wondering the same thing
this is not a catamaran, this is a master peace.
It's not a boat all, it's a vacation home.
No its even not a vacation home for some.
For some its an uso.
A very nice tour, but I'd rather see this vessel in acion in very rough seas. I would like to see how it performs in the worst conditions.....
These review guys are ultra low level and most have no idea about sailing, they are mostly cute dockside sales people: not sails people. Don't expect too much.
안녕하세요 수고하셨습니다 감사합니다
I thought they packed a lot of boat into the layout...........very nice Cat!!!!
With a big cat like that, you should have an Expandacraft modular boat of some kind on board. Expandacraft is a modular multihull which fits in small spaces and can transform into all sorts of watercraft. Row, paddle, paddle, sail or motor, it's like the Lego of boats
what is the name of the song about 5min in anyone know?
Why do I torture myself watching this kind of video?
Haha! You are certainly not the only one
Can you sail this solo?
Halfway through the video, I was thinking, "Well it's nice, but that's a tiny galley for a ship that size." Then he walked down the last set of stairs...
I wondered about the wasted space with that snacking shorthanded cook area on the main deck. It would’ve fit a strippers pole perfectly
OMG I want just one...
Incha lah bro😹❤️
Tell me the name of these songs, please?
Wow! No one has commented since my post a year ago? Well, I recently looked the Sunreef 80 and it is a wonderful boat, but this Lagoon 77 looks bigger! It has some wonderous features. I give this boat a hearty Yabba Dabba Doo. However, like the Sunreef, the interior helm station appears to be only useful for monitoring and navigating the boat. In order to sail this and the Sunreef, boat some poor helmsman/captain and his or her crewperson, has to be on the flybridge, exposed to horizontal rain, spray and wind, in order to manage the sails, sheets, etc., of this SAILboat. Being out in the elements is fatiguing. Being in a protected helm station is less fatiguing. For a 24 hour helm station watch, how many crew do you need to stand watch in the elements vs. how many in a protected station. Are the helm stations protected or not? I think that is an important HR element to know.
the sunreef 80 flybridge's helm can be protected from elements
Perfect to europe / caribbean
La marque lagoon et une référence incontournable dans le monde du multicoque.
Precio ?????????
What a beautiful boat
by far the best presentation video of a lagoon 77 that i have seen. thank you
What is the price?
What price?
I bet this sails like a million ton carpark
Actually the speeds are rather nice for a cruising cat. It is a sailboat, just remember. Don't expect 25 knots, but half of that is doable.
These things are island hopping floating pontoons with sails, not serious sailing vessels ! I don’t see anyone circumnavigating the world with one of these downwind behemoths or one made by Sunreef either. I’ve seen some in the range of 35 to 50 foot sailing the tradewinds with a spinnaker and even those are really slow, but much faster than these huge ones.
If you get a catamaran, then get something which can sail like an Outremer or a Gunboat. Otherwise stick with monohulls and haul ass close hauled, close reach and beam reach sailing.
Price?
one of the nicest catamarans in the market !!
those stairs to the fly bridge look very dangerous after a long day of relaxing and drinks?
awesome cat. Great video!
boats aren't for pussies
Order the crew to lower you down in a hammock to the main deck.
Looks like fun at first. Then a million different ways to spend a lot more on things that break My possessions are causing me suspicions
Wow 😳
How difficult to find a captain and crew for this cat
If you can afford to buy this yacht you can afford to hire a crew
Does anyone knowns the music played ?
All the tracks?
@@CatamaranChannel If possible all but particularly the first and last plz ! thanks !
Супер 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
със сигурност
Риф так не думал :) но тонула она долго, да :)
A rowing machine on a yacht! I don't get it but it's a beautiful boat to be sure
Ce catamaran est magnifique
Vive la France.
Did they get the interior design inspiration from IKEA? No imagination or color to be found!
What if the master bedroom patio door motor fails to close the patio door? When it's closed is it really water tight ? I'm afraid this weak link in the design would be the cause of the boat to sink ! You darn well know the door motor will fail someday ! Scary !
They build in a motor that never fails. Its from nasa, the company that get billions to hoax anything. So it must be good. Im jk. No i might assume that theres a manual operation mode on it, i'll have to check that.
I’m sure there’s a mechanical option in case of motor failure
The simple solution is to replace the motor before leaving port if it fails. It looks like a pretty standard watertight door. I'd expect some minor water ingress during heavy seas. That is true of the more traditional hatches upstairs too though. You solve that by having at least one working bilge pump per hull. Personally I'm the type of sailor that would disconnect the motor and lift the door shut if it failed. Then again I'm not the type of sailor that would be working on a 24 meter lagoon. What a monster.
Ur just scared to death of drowning. A patio door? Really? These boats are almost always positively buoyant. You could fill them with water and they'd still float.
@@natas0733 sadly this boat isnt floating anymore it hit a reef and the starboard side was a total loss, but right ,it didnt sink
Coisa mais linda
Nice, but the need for a crew kinda kills it for me.
very beautiful
why do you need 9 ft of net at the bow?
They are the trampoline area. All sailing cats have them. I believe it's a safety thing plus let your equipment come down and ropes come down and stuff if you work the sails.
Its better for rough seas.
The more net/trampoline, the better it goes through the waves in a rough sea.
You see that also allot with fast catamarans.
do you really need it for slow cruising catamaran? comfort would be priority, more extra space.
You can replace them with a solid wood cover, its an option.
Buy the Seventy * then !!!@@StartVisit
Lagoon aye...watch Parlay revival.
Thisvis the couse of my day dreaming
Wow amazing 👊🏽😉
Would this thing survive the roaring 40s?
Easy.
Thanks for watching!
New sub - fantastic looking yachts..✅
Thanks for the sub.
And ofcourse thanks for watching!
@@CatamaranChannel Boa noite!
Qual o valor?
Jesus i want just one of this boat amazing
The irony of a rowing machine on a boat.
"No place for enjoying a game of Cricket.?."
"And where can I keep the warmblooded stallion I need for the next Horse Polo game.?."
Try zooming out, or using a wider angle lens. Also, move more quickly between areas rather than doing jump cuts. They are very disorienting.
Yes, shame they had a substandard video about a sweet vessel like this, too bad it got wrecked.
Oh, what the Hell! I'll take two of 'em!
Le rêve 😍
Let's go!
It should have a live baitwell
It does, it’s just off the edge of the boat on all 4 sides
Yup 3mil
lindo, mas caro também. O luxo tem seu preço.
I love the comments from people who have probably never lived on a yacht, never crossed an Ocean, and couldn’t ever dream of even chartering one of these never mind paying the running costs. ROFL’s ...
The design and layout on this seems ridiculous and doesn't make a lot of sense...on a lot of different levels. And the stairs up to the fly-bridge look treacherous.
With a SEVENTY 7 naked women would jumping on board every dockside. Dont say fly bridge you say, lades to fly bridge for drinks. The only one thing missing on the fly bridge is a HOTTUB.
which part is so bad that it is deemed ridiculous? Just curious
It just doesn't seem an efficient use of 77 feet...bow looks like a basketball court afterthought..below decks look stark...main cabin looks like someone put furniture around the edges of an office...I just don't see great design....and I've seen some. Just what I see;in my opinion...I'm sure its nice in person.
Big City Evidently You Have Never Never Sailed Out In The Big Boy Pond Ha Ha Go Drink One of Them Sissy Drinks With An Umbrella Ha Ha !~~!
And evidently,you've never seen a Privilege.But,cheers. @@robertcox3872
Must be a nightmare to come into a small marina with this cat, also looks like its difficult to see all corners of the boat from the fly bridge.
Most of the time, if you come across a small marina you should use the mooringball. Saves allot of hassle and is usually cheaper. From there on you can do things by dinghy.
About the visability, to operate this one you need a crew, or atleast 2 more people who help out with sails and so on.
Thanks for watching!
Miiii mettere i prezzi
Beautyfull video. Beautyfull boat.
great music good filming
Фантастика .... 👍🚨🚣🚨👏🇷🇺😜
Oh? where's the engine room?? Says an absolute load about the boat design IMO........ that it's not featured
Wasnt allowed to film.
Doesn't matter. One of the engines was released for inspection. At the bottom of the sea. :)
I bought a few of these, they're okay I guess.
YeYe that thing is 3million+
Its gone now . . .
Went on the rocks . . .
The best!
