- On August 25th, we loaded up the dogs and made a return visit to the Grand Canyon. This time, we avoided the crowds by taking the Desert View Drive, a 25-mile stretch of road along the eastern end of the South Rim. This portion of Hwy 64 offers unmatched views of one of world's wonders!

Great video this is something we want to do when we visit the USA from London, England in April 2023. We will be coming from Williams I night and then staying in Bright Angel loges for two nights can't wait!!

Great video! I’m taking a motorcycle trip in august and will have my 2 small dogs with me. Very few videos show all the viewpoints from the road and name them and you have dogs!!! Love it! Thanks again!!!

Is this route completely free any day of the year?
Hi there! I'm so sorry I'm just now seeing this, but thank you for your comment. This route is located within the national park so you do have to pay park admission, but there is no additional cost. Thanks again.
